MURDER ON THE HIGH SEAS?

And furthermore, anyone who is dismayed because Spector left the Republican Party doesn't really know what they are talking about. It hasn't changed a thing, except that he has come out of his liberal closet. He'll still vote the same...

After yesterday's special post, that's all I've got to say now except....

There's a nasty story floating around on the Internet to the effect that the reason the Navy didn't go to Captain Phillips' rescue the first time he dove into the water was that President Obama had issued orders not to fire unless fired upon. The pirates were firing at Phillips, not the Navy. The story goes on to suggest that Obama vascilated back and forth for the entire four day ordeal, finally saying that the Navy COULD use weapons IF they felt that Phillips' life was in imminent danger, which is the excuse the Seals ultimately used to take out three of Phillips' captors and to bring him to safety.

Now, if this story is true, I wonder why the Navy Seals are not being investigated to determine whether or not there really WAS an AK-47 aimed at Phillips' back when the Seals took action? If not, they should be prosecuted for murder on the high seas.

What lunacy we have brought upon ourselves!

DISASTER IN WASHINGTON: CHAOS REINS!

SPECIAL POST

The tax-cheat Secretary of the Treasury... the "only" guy who can deal with the national economic crisis... is now faced with the fact that Bank of America and Citi-Bank are again on the verge of collapse after he, Ben Bernanke, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Christopher Dodd and Barney Frank "saved" them with billions of dollars of our tax money in a bailout plan that we were 100% against. Complicit in his grand "scheme" to "save" our economy were the Democratic and Republican underling Senators and Representatives who thumbed their collective noses at we "dumb" Americans and went ahead and stampeded us into it, anyway.

Don't you know now why they wanted to keep the list of banks who can't pass the "stress test" from us?

We're now told that we will have to "bail out" the banks again. They have a new "scheme" to move our tax money... billions and billions of more dollars... into these banks. Only this time, they're saying that they're not actually "loaning" the money to the banks, they are buying bank common stock instead. Number one, that is nationalizing the banks, pure and simple. Number two, they're still doing it with our money!!!

Treasury is running out of our money! So, they plan to borrow $500 billion just to cover their July operating expenses.... They need $350 billion for April, May and June and $500 billion more for July and they don't know about August because their calculators are in burn out! This....BEFORE they deal with Bank of America and Citi-Bank!

Well, I don't know about you, but THIS dumbed-down right-wing former military extremist is really burned out that the White House chose to defy their critics and to celebrate their first 100 days in office and their "era of change" by flying Air Force Two, or whatever it's called, at low altitude on a junket around New York City while being chased by military jets...at taxpayer expense and while the citizens, fearing another 911, took to the streets in shear terror for their lives.

Aren't you sooooo glad you voted for all of them?

SWINE FLU IS A RED HERRING: Special Post

It's been percolating in Mexico for several weeks. No one paid any real attention. Today, it's a national media and political obsession.

Although DHHS and the boys assured all of us on Sunday that there is really nothing to worry about, the media and the politicians are all over this "WORLD WIDE PANDEMIC" like glue. Why?

Could it be the national economy? Could it be the upcoming budget votes in Congress? Could it be the investigation into Bush's "War Crimes?"

With our attention diverted to the Swine Flu....who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of politicians?

Oh my God.....I feel a sniffle coming on!

IT MAY BE SPRINGTIME, BUT THERE'S MORE THAN FLOWERS BLOOMING IN WASHINGTON

It's bad enough that no one is hot on the trail of corruption in Washington; the names of Dodd, Rangle and Murtha are all targets of investigation into charges of using their influence and power to feather their own nests financially. But, oddly, no one seems to be moving toward digging out the answers.

It's also bad enough that Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the House who is targeting the rich, fails to mention that she and her husband Paul are by far the wealthiest in the Congressional halls; they have around $130 million in California real estate investments alone.

Then, of course, there's our pal Barney Frank of the now infamous House Financial Oversight Committee, who appears to have his fingers all over the $360 billion now missing and unaccounted for from the fall TARP Bailout emergency spending bills. Or, did you know about that?

Now appears... Senator Dianne Feinstein, (Number 8 on the list of wealth at the Capital), who arranged for the FDIC to get $25 billion in special funding right after that agency awarded C.B. Richard Ellis, (CBRE), a large property management firm in California, lucrative contracts to handle residential foreclosures at a higher rate than normal market price. The stench surrounding this deal is that it is her husband's firm, and the firm has substantially less experience in this type of management activity than competing firms that were summarily turned down. The allegation is that her husband, Richard Blum, purchased 10 million additional shares in the company just prior to the award and that he and Feinstein made $14 million in the process.

In the meantime, administration officials would label those of us who are sick and tired of this wide-open corruption and manipulation in Washington at our expense... "Right Wing Extremists" who need to be on the F.B.I. Watch List.

Now, who do we blame for this mess? An even more critical question urgently needing an answer is, what are we going to do about it?

"VAST RIGHT WING CONSPIRACY" REARS ITS UGLY HEAD

It was Hillary Clinton who first alluded to the "vast Right Wing conspiracy" during the Monica years. Now, it's the Department of Homeland Security that is apparently setting aside terrorism, border crossings and other trivial pursuits in order to redirect its sights toward the target of the "conspiracy."

The DHS recently released an assessment to the effect that military personnel returning from the Middle East should be scrutinized and watched closely in case they could form "right wing" extremist groups within the United States. The report lists the veterans as being "terrorist risks."

These statements are patently offensive to every American who has ever served in the military and are indicative of the Administration's all out war....and it is a war... against their perceived enemies. It smacks of being an orchestration straight out of Rohm Emanuel's office, tucked neatly into a pile of other "projects" that includes the banning of gun ownership and change to socialism.

According to a Washington Times report on April 16th, DHS Secretary Janet Napolotano as recently as April 15th, stood by the assessment in saying that she had been briefed and she concurred. "The document on right-wing extremism sent last week by this department's Office of Intelligence and Analysis is one in an ongoing series of assessments to provide situational awareness to state, local and tribal law enforcement agencies on the phenomenon and trends of violent radicalization in the United States," Ms. Napolitano said in a statement. In making the statement, she alluded to Timothy McVeigh's bombing of the Federal building in Oklahoma City.

This morning, April 16th, Napolitano did an abrupt about-face and apologized for the report, saying that she hadn't read all of it.

Given the sequence and her prior insistence that the "assessment" was accurate, the apology not only falls on deaf ears, but is one more reason why Americans took to the streets in protest on April 15th.

It's NOT just about taxes. It's about the Administration's cavalier insensitivity to Amertican patriotism, to its very roots... the President's bow to Saudi royalty, his snide representations about Americans being "dismissive and arrogant," his radical turn to Marxism and socialism, his budgets and tax plans, and his affinity for tax cheats.

Napolitano may have apologized, but you can be assured that the list will not be modified and that the returning vets will continue to be scrutinized. This transcends party lines and attacks the very foundations of Americanism.

Thankfully, Americans regardless of party affiliation, have now demonstrated that we CAN take our country back. We can, and we must.

SPECIAL POST: AMERICANS ARE STINGY AND SELF CENTERED

SPECIAL POST

Washington, having mortgaged our future for generations to fund it's "economic stimulus" plan, is now blaming the American Consumer for not emptying his own pockets and going on a spending spree. We, who have the wisdom and fortitude to buckle down and hold on to our money to meet the rising unemployment, inevitable inflation and future horrendous taxes....are to blame because the banks want to give their TARP money back?

Did I hear that right?

To hell with all of them. I'm heading for a tea party.

DEMOCRATS DISS AMERICAN TEA PARTIES

SPECIAL POST

The thousands of tea parties planned for April 15th in cities and towns across the United States to protest the unparalleled spending of Congress and the looming tax increases have now been categorized by some leading Democrats as being nothing but "a bunch of disgruntled Republicans trying to create a ruckus."

I don't recall anything about partisan politics being associated with the organizers. Those protesting transcend party lines. This isn't about party affiliation.... it's about America. It's about being fed up with our tax dollars going into a "black hole" never to be seen again while the futures of our children and their descendants are being mortgaged to the hilt. It's about passing horrendous spending bills without reading them.

This just goes to show how shallow their understanding of the situation really is.

What's next? An edict from Obama, Reid and Pelosi that any Democrat caught attending an American Tea Party will be tossed out of the Democratic Party?
(Maybe their names will be posted on a "nasty board" in the halls of Congress??

WHAT MAKES BARNEY FRANKFARTER TICK?

I've frequently wondered where this guy comes from, and how he continually gets away with what he does. I may have found the answer.

Could it be that he has a basic character flaw? Obviously, Massachusetts doesn't seem to think so, because they keep re-electing him. Check this out:

ANOTHER SHOOTING?

Since it can be presumed that the weapon(s) used were not obtained legally, I would like to know why the cops were not doing their job in collecting those illegal weapons in the first place.

As for me, and millions of others, I came by my guns legally and they have never been used in the commission of any crime.

NATIVE AMERICANS AND METH: A National Tragedy

Tribal law enforcement agencies across the United States say that methamphetamine use is the number one cause at the root of domestic abuse, child neglect, beatings, theft, embezzlement, fraud, rape and murder. The problem is made worse by the inability of tribal law enforcement agencies to deal with the problems due to lack of funding, personnel, training and equipment. Mexican drug cartels take advantage of the often complicated law enforcement jurisdictions in Indian Country; isolated communities are hit the hardest, and sometimes even tribal leaders are not immune; if not part of the "action" themselves, they are often intimidated and threatened to allowing such activities to exist, even to the point of arranging for tribal and federal money to trickle into the hands of the addicted.

On one reservation alone, the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming, the Sangaste crime organization out of Ogden, Utah, saturated the Northern Arapaho and the Shoshoni tribes with it, starting in 2000; by 2005, the Wind River had the highest per capita use of meth on any reservation in the country. Crime soared. From 2003 to 2006 alone, cases of child neglect increased 131 percent, drug possession was up 163 percent; spousal abuse rose 218 percent. Tribal finances simultaneously fell into a state of disarray and federal funds.

Wind River is not alone. Throughout Indian Country, resources are few and most reservations don't have treatment centers. Between 2000 and 2005, the number of methamphetamine contacts in Indian Health Services facilities increased by almost 250 percent. On March 20, 2009, an illegal alien from Mexico was found guilty by a federal jury of Conspiracy to Possess With Intent to Distribute 500 grams or More of Methamphetamine and Possession With Intent To Distribute over 500 grams of Methamphetamine on the Gila Indian Reservation in Arizona.

Methamphetamine, or meth, is a highly addictive drug that can cause paranoia and delusions in long-term users. Addicts often turn to crime to supply their habits, which can sometimes lead to violent, headline-grabbing offenses. In a recent and highly publicized case, Andre Calac was sentenced to 80 years in prison for killing his pregnant girlfriend with a shotgun blast at the Rincon Indian Reservation. His blood, taken shortly after the shooting, tested positive for marijuana and methamphetamine, and his blood-alcohol level was 0.19 percent. Meth was recently found in about 36 percent of men and 47 percent of women who were booked into southern California jails.

The Indian Health Service and Bureau of Indian Affairs both pretended that the problems did not exist. While meth use and related criminal activities and health issues were on a rapid rise, budgets were being cut. The National Congress of American Indians cites the meth problem at the top of their list of priorities.

Once again, Congress and the federal agencies have seen fit to let the American Indian suffer without help and without answers. Our officials in Washington should be ashamed of themselves.
