CALL TO CHARGE OBAMA WITH TREASON

This from CONSERVATIVEBYTE.COM:  "Obama continues to burn bridges that are going to bite America in the very near future.  Check it out:
"Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Paul E. Vallely stated recently during a radio interview that President Obama should be “arrested for treasonous activities.”  Vallely, while a guest on the Real Side radio program earlier this month, stated above anything else that Obama should be held accountable for his sympathies for the Muslim Brotherhood in particular and his actions regarding the Benghazi tragedy. The retired general said one group that should hold the president’s feet to the fire are high-ranking members of the military.

"The program’s host, Joe Messina, asked whether Obama would just replace those military leaders with others who agree with him, as he has done several times in the past.  Vallely responded: “Well then we arrest him for treasonous activities.” He noted that the group he helps lead, the Citizens Commission on Benghazi, counts at least fourteen different actions the president has taken that could be considered treasonous."

Finally, I am not the only one labeling Obama as "treasonous."  He has put the national security secondary to his self-serving political agenda.

"NO ONE IS RESPONSIBLE"

That's the latest Obama administration gimmick.  For six years now, they've been blaming everyone but themselves for their scandals, their lies and their shortcomings.  Now, suddenly, they're saying "no one is to blame."  That's the story on the tens of millions of federal personnel files that were hacked.  The hacking "just happened."  There was nobody to blame.

Now, there's an even more ominous hacking going on and the government is trying very hard to cover it up.  According to the Congressional Research Service Report, hackers are going after electricity companies and the national power grid, and the number of attacks is increasing every day.

I don't know about you, but I live in California and if our power goes down, I'm not only going to bake, but I truly won't have any water, either.

And what is the government doing about it?  Obviously nothing, if they're trying to cover it up.

WHY TO DISTRUST AMERICAN MUSLIMS

A poll by the Center for Security Policy reveals that 51% of American Muslims believe they should be allowed to live under Sharia Law; 25% of them believe violence against Americans is justified as part of the global Jihad.

That means that one out of every four Muslims walking innocently down the streets could behead you in an instant.

And your president not only wants you to drop your suspicions and distrust of Muslims, he also wants you to give up your right to defend yourself by carrying a gun.

Now, don't get me wrong; I'm not making a politically incorrect statement about all American Muslims... just against that one out of four.

Which one do you think it is?

PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE STEPS INTO BIG PILE OF DUNG

Marco Rubio, formerly on my top five list of Republican presidential candidates, cast the deciding vote necessary for the U.S. Senate to clear the final 60-vote threshold and eventually, later this week, send to President Barack Obama’s desk the Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) bill that would fast-track at least three highly secretive trade deals that Obama has been negotiating for years.

As of this post, he has not even bothered to read the legislation.  Talk about the blind leading the blind... and he had the guts to criticize the Democrats for passing ObamaCare without reading it.

BALTIMORE: WHERE'S THE POLICE UNION?

I've never been much of a union sympathizer, but I surely do know why they were originally formed: to address horrible working conditions, poor wages and oppressive behaviors of American businesses; they eventually spread into the public sector for the same reasons.

We all know what has been happening to cops in Baltimore.  Everyone involved in running that Godforsaken city has been dumping on their cops for weeks now.  In fact, I think one could safely suggest that there is a war going on in Baltimore... the city "leaders" versus the cops... who are supposed to keep the peace and enforce the law.  Now, even police commissioner Anthony Batts has come forth to dump on his own employees, warning that more cops will be fired and charged as the days go on.

So, where is the Police Union?  Why doesn't somebody in that city have the cops' backs?  Why have the leaders been able to level charges, summarily prosecute and condemn cops in their own kangaroo court, and why hasn't the union been more vocal in standing up for their members and for the return to the fundamental principles of law and order?

Isn't that what unions are for?

Oh, I guess they've not been totally silent.  Gene Ryan, union president, and Local 3 of the F.O.P. have said: (1) cops fear being arrested more than they fear being shot and (2) criminals have become "empowered."  Big whoopee.  If I were a dues paying union member, I'd be expecting the union to be saying it was standing behind its members 100% and threatening lawsuit if the city leaders don't get their acts together.  I'd even be ready to call for a strike against the city in retaliation for unfair labor practices.

The cops have been warned that they could lose their jobs and face jail time if they make a mistake.  Nobody... not one responsible city official... not even the Maryland Governor... has even made the suggestion that everyone should draw a deep breath, step back and let reason as opposed to hyperbole, rule the day.

So, crime in Baltimore is soaring.  Who is really to blame?

AIRLINE HACKED

Although the fears about hackers getting into airline systems or even airplane controls themselves have been in the news for several weeks, no one seems to have taken any steps to prevent it.  Almost 1,500 passengers scheduled to fly with Polish state-owned airline LOT had their flights canceled after unknown hackers attacked the airline’s computers, according to a report from BREITBART.COM.

Ten flights were grounded at Warsaw’s Frederic Chopin Airport, and several hours later, LOT had fixed the problems caused by the hackers, and regularly scheduled flights were running again. LOT provided hotel rooms for passengers who had to stay overnight to wait for other flights.  Apparently, the hackers attacked the airline’s ground computer systems, making it impossible to issue flight plans.

It occurs to me that terrorism takes many forms and that the hacking of airlines or airplanes is one of them.  Suppose... just suppose... that a hacker was able to gain access to an airplane's control systems and steer it into a tall skyscraper or national monument.

Could I.S.I.S. do that?  Probably not; they're just a JV team, remember...

PRIORITIES: WATER OR BOONDOGGLES?

Construction is beginning on California's new high-speed rail system.  Anybody who has  studied or been exposed to the Bay Area Rapid Transit System fully understands that we are looking at massive cost overruns, possible corruption and kickbacks, and a system that, if ever completed, may not work as it was intended.  In fact, the monetary success of the project depends on the ability to force car owners to take the trains instead.

The first stage of construction, a 29-mile stretch, is already expected to cost at least $29 billion; that's $1 billion per mile!!! The original budget for the entire 200+ mile stretch project as sold to the public was $34 billion, but is likely to be close to $500 billion if it is ever finished.  For one thing, they're already under construction and they haven't even negotiated purchase of the necessary parcels of land yet.

In the meantime, the state is literally drying up in more ways than one.  Residents are moving to Oregon and Nevada in droves, thereby reducing the tax base.  And water has become a scarce commodity in the parched, drought-stricken state.  Yet, there are no dams planned in the future and no real talk or discussion about building desalinization plants.

Perrier anyone?

OBAMA: OFF TARGET AGAIN

When Hussein pushed aside any respect or sensitivity yesterday to seize the opportunity to put the muscle on his gun control agenda as a result of the tragic shooting in Charleston, South Carolina, he was laying the blame for violence in America solely on guns.  The fact is, violence takes the form of everything from hurled insults, clenched fists, sharp knives, explosives... all of the way to guns and chemical weapons.

It must readily be seen that the elimination or control of guns leaves many avenues of violence open.  Therefore, the problem is not guns... it's something else.

There are a lot of things that foment violence, including: drugs, money or the lack thereof, sex, psychological or sociological disorders... and the advent of movie and television productions which glorify such violent behavior.

Now, maybe we're getting somewhere. What do these things all have in common?

I submit that the problem stems from a breakdown in the fundamental rules and tenets of organized society, rules that are taught by religious institutions, through strong family values and through the fear of corporeal punishment.  Over the last four or five decades, we have seen attacks on religious beliefs, a breakdown of the family unit and the assertion that one should not be put to death for an act of murder.

We reap what we sow.

Guns are not to blame; we are.

DUMB, DUMB, DUMB

The I.R.S. has admitted to having another 6,400 of Lois Lerner's emails, but is refusing to turn them over. Why?

Well, they say, they need to go through them to make sure there are no duplicates, because they don't want to waste anybody's time.

Really!  That's what they've offered up as excuse.  Cross my liver and hope to die!!!

HACK, HACK AND MORE HACK

We've all got so many passwords that it takes a lot of patience and time to deal with them all.  To make matters worse, every bank, credit card company, medical portal, insurance company and dog food retailer has different rules for what you can use for a password and how often you have to change it.  Of course, all of this is designed to protect your cyber security.

A couple of enterprising guys have capitalized on the proliferation of hacking and need for passwords, such as Life Lock and LastPass.  LastPass is a service that stores your passwords for you in a password protected database which allows you, and you only, to access your passwords from multiple devices.

The problem is... LastPass just got hacked. If you use LastPass, you need to change all of your passwords now.

Everyone who uses a PC, laptop, tablet or smart phone, listen up:  Any time you access your bank, credit card, medical portal, insurance company or any other other site that may contain some of your confidential information, you are at risk.  To me, if I'm walking down a dark street late at night, I become acutely aware of my surroundings; I get my guard up and I'm also 99.9% likely to be carrying a concealed weapon.  In the same manner, whenever I get onto the Internet or do text messaging, I become extra cautious about website addresses, email addresses, spurious emails and text messages from unknown sources.  And I have a strong firewall, virus protection and malware security.

I don't store my passwords anywhere except my notepad hidden in my house and I change them frequently.  I don't check my bank or credit card balance from my smart phone or tablet.  I don't leave my laptop or desktop on when I'm not around or at night.  I disconnect from the Internet when I am not using it.

Don't be to blame for your own problems; be proactive and self-protective.

THE DEMISE OF AMERICAN JOURNALISM?

Just so you know and understand why I'm so down on the American news media and press, CNN's Fredricka Whitfield said Saturday that the acts of the gunman in the Dallis Police Station shooting were "courageous and brave."

Now, that's beyond the pale.

But, CNN had no retraction and no apology.  In fact, it was a full day before anyone said anything, and that includes not only CNN, but also virtually every other news outlet in the country.  In other words, I guess all of the national media and press agreed with her.  It was only after an outrage in social media that the matter was addressed by anyone.

Sunday,  Whitfield said, “Yesterday, during a segment on the Dallas Police Department attack, I used the words 'courageous' and 'brave' when discussing the gunman. I misspoke.  I in no way believe the gunman was courageous nor brave."  No apology was made, no explanation as to why she chose those words.

It's not like she's the new kid on the block, either.  She was at NBC for several years prior to starting with CNN in 2002.  So, she knows what to say about things and how to say it.

Is true, honest and responsible journalism in America totally dead?

DAMNED ELECTION SEASON

Well, it must officially be election season, barely eight months after the last one ended.  I got four telephone calls Saturday from political organizations looking for money.  The last season was bad enough; by the time November came, I was leaving my phone off the hook 24/7.  Can you imagine how bad it's going to get this season with all of these presidential candidates on the loose?

I'm angry about the way they are doing things.  In the good old days, only your mailbox got stuffed with pleas for money.  These days, you get 30 emails a day and God only knows how many phone calls.  What's even worse is that they have the guts to put the "muscle" on you, to make you feel like a two-bit jerk if you don't fork over the money.  And they do this in a struggling economy.

I told a lady Saturday that I wasn't going to give a dime to a living soul this election until next year, if then.  I thought she was going to have a mental breakdown.  "How can you do this to your country?" she pleaded.

"Well," they say, "it takes a lot of money to run a campaign."  Here's the way I look at it: Congress has the lowest ratings in American history and we haven't had a decent president in office since Ronald Reagan.  Why should I continue to fork over my hard-earned money so those guys can continue doing their crappy jobs in Washington?

They, and their intrusive, abrasive campaign staffs have nobody to blame but themselves.

THE GREAT HACKING LIE

This administration could look you straight in the eye and insist that the sun does, in fact, set in the East.  Just as they would tell you we are winning the war against terrorism and I.S.I.S., just as they would pound their fists on the table and declare that you can keep your plan if you like your plan, so would they say with a stern face that there are 57 states in the union and that Obama is the closest thing to a Jew to ever occupy the White House.

Tuesday, it was said by some of the Obama elite zombie cadre that the number of records of federal employees hacked by China was probably closer to 2 million than the 4 million previously reported.  Yesterday, we learned through a government employees union that the number of federal employees who had their personnel records hacked by China was indeed not 4 million.... it was closer to 21 million and goes back at least ten years.    Virtually every government employee from janitorial to intelligence officers to Congressional staffers to Supreme Court Justices was included.

That next door neighbor of yours, the oddball who you swear must be a spook for the C.I.A.... well, China now knows the answer to that question for sure and the records are for sale on the "dark net."

Blame Bush.

TECHNOLOGY MAY BE OUR DOWNFALL

We all know the principle that we can't spy on each other.  We can't have peepholes in restrooms, we can't record each other's telephone conversations, we can't open someone else's mail, we can't hack into another's computer... These are pretty much settled in law.

Now arrives the drone.  We've seen the great pictures those things can take, which begs the question: what if your neighbor flies one over your back fence and records your wife sunbathing?  What if someone flies a drone into your daughter's bathroom?

Not so fast, pal.  There's a law that says the airspace above the ground on your property is public airspace; you have no control over it.  Besides, you can't fire off your shotgun in most towns and cities.

What a mess we've engineered ourselves into this time.

CHANGE OF SUBJECT

There was a bomb threat in the White House Press Briefing Room yesterday.

For once, our illustrious press and media have something to talk about except their adulation and adoration of Premier Obama.

OBAMA PISSES ON THE SUPREME COURT

Premier Barack Hussein Obama has bluntly challenged the Supreme Court over its pending ruling regarding the validity of ObamaCare subsidies, complaining yesterday that the Court should never have taken up the case at all, and warning that any ruling against its subsidies would be a "twisted interpretation" of the law.  He curtly chastised the Justices and said the Court should have stayed out of this fight.  He practically dared the Court to rule against him, implying they'll be in deep trouble if they do.

To rule against him, the premier said, would be a "contorted reading of the statute" and a "twisted interpretation." If that does happen, Obama said, "that throws off how that exchange operates" and millions of people would lose subsidies.  I would surmise then, that he would initiate riots like he did in Ferguson and Baltimore.

Who the f--k does he think he is, addressing the Court like that?  And why is this nation allowing him to seize total control of all branches of our government?  WHAT IN THE HELL IS GOING ON IN THIS NATION?

OBAMA TRYING TO MEND GERMAN FENCE

Barack Hussein Obama has been on the outs with Germany's Angela Merkel ever since it was discovered that the U.S. had been tapping into her cell phone at his personal direction.  Now that he's at the G-7 Summit, he decided to try and mend fences.  Obama and Merkel planned to open his visit yesterday with a public display of friendliness, delivering remarks about the U.S. ~ German alliance before they stroll through the picturesque alpine village of Kruen to sample the Bavarian food and sights.

How nice. Maybe they'll have a German beer in the Rhone Garden.

NBC TO KEEP BRIAN WILLIAMS?

CNN’s Brian Stelter reported Sunday that NBC News Chairman Andy Lack has been ordering employees to “think creatively” about how to keep Williams at the network while avoiding public disdain. Williams may lose his seat as anchor of the "NBC Nightly News," but executives are looking for a way to keep him at the network in a new role.  Weeks of complex negotiations between him and NBC are not yet complete.

Well, so the problem was lying?  Perhaps he should run for Obama's job.  He seems to be well-prepared and to have the necessary requirements for the role.  Frankly, I don't know what the issue is; his tall tales are no worse than what the rest of the media is spewing these days.

IRS DATA BREACH: IT'S YOUR FAULT

The infamous John Koskinen, Obama's chief henchman at the I.R.S., has testified before Congress that the recent massive data breach is your fault.  According to him, the agency is plague with an ancient and almost useless computer system that simply has to be replaced immediately.  In fact, he insisted,, he's said the agency needs more money many times before and Congress and the American people simply won't cough up and bucks.

In passing, I mention that there was no discussion about his continuing to pay employees lavish bonuses for providing Americans with a piss-poor product... while the agency has  been running out of money to operate with.

DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE T.S.A.

Obama will fix it.

I mean, he has a proven track record of drawing red lines, identifying problems and getting things fixed.

Doesn't he?

CALIFORNIA RESTAURANTS SNATCH EMPLOYEE TIPS

Restaurants in California, faced with escalating minimum wages mandated by the state, are responding by taking all or a portion of the employee tips.  In January, minimum wage will go up to $13 an hour in Sacramento. Moreover, California legislators are considering raising the minimum wage across the entire state to the same rate.

Restaurant owners are adding surcharges to dinner bills, charging service charges and using similar ploys in an attempt to defray the increased costs of doing business.

When you get right down to it, who is to blame for this mess?  Personally, I don't care what they do; I've quit dining out.
