The Obama administration expressed its "regret" Saturday for an airstrike that mistakenly killed Syrian forces, a senior administration official told Fox News, as the U.S. awaited a response from the Assad regime.  

First, Obama told Assad he'd damned-well better NOT cross the red line by using chemical weapons.  The red line, of course,  disappeared and Assad has recently used chemical weapons and we're apologizing because our planes took out a few Syrian military forces by mistake?
