South Korea’s new President, Moon Jae-in, decided to tell the U.S. to keep its anti-missile defense system that we had promised to deploy there in order to protest South Korea from North Korean threats. He's made it abundantly clear that he doesn't want our defense system, saying that he wants to find a way to make peace with North Korea and that the system will make that dream impossible.
North Korea responded by test firing multiple ground to ship missiles.
