WHAT'S GOING ON IN THE WHITE HOUSE?

You hear these stories... Priebus is gone, Spicer is on his way out, Bannon's in trouble... There is a tremendous lack of communication among staff and between them and Trump, and so forth.  Then, you see evidence of problems, such as one spokesperson saying Trump wants to do this or that and then seeing Trump do the opposite.  Or, you see Trump come out with an announcement leaving everyone out in left field, like the nomination of Wray to the F.B.I. Directorship when no one in the White House had the slightest clue as to what was coming.

It's kind of like watching an engine start to sputter,, then wobble back and forth until, eventually, a piston breaks and a rod comes barreling out of the side of the engine block.

Could it be that Trump is not allowing his key people to stretch their wings?  Are they becoming frustrated that the Trump machine has not coalesced?  Are the wheels about to come off?

Trump, of all people, should know by now that no man can succeed in management of anything worth managing by trying to control every aspect of the project.  Good managers hire strong leaders and let them work together to reach the common goal; the only thing the top dog does is keep them working together, give occasional direction and encouragement, and make only the major decisions.  Otherwise, the micro-management of the good people is going to end in a big blowup.

Is that where Trump is heading?  That would certainly please his detractors to no end and eat up a lot of his capital with his supporters.

Should that happen, he'll have nobody to blame but himself.
