ABOLISH SPECIAL PROSECUTOR, NOW AND FOREVER

The general idea of a special prosecutor can best be explained by looking at President Nixon and Watergate.  There were well-founded reasons to believe that criminal wrongdoing had occurred during and after the Watergate break-in.  It also appeared that the Attorney General, John Mitchell, might be involved in it.  Normally, it would be up to the Attorney General's office to investigate Nixon and his team, but with Mitchell evidently involved... that would be a profound conflict of interest.  

So, the parties involved agreed to appoint a special prosecutor, a lawyer appointed to investigate, and potentially prosecute. 

In the case of Robert Mueller and President Trump, however, no allegations of a crime had been made at the time Mueller was appointed.  There was talk that the President had "colluded" with the Russians, but "collusion" is not a crime; conspiracy is a crime, but there has been no allegation of conspiracy.  So, the appointment was a political fraud to begin with.  

There is no provision in the Constitution for a special prosecutor to investigate a president.   That duty Constitutionally belongs to the House of Representatives, which has the power to investigate and to issue Articles of Impeachment if warranted.   It should not have been allowed in Nixon's case; that case unfortunately set a bad precedent.  

Mueller reports to no one.  His investigations have far exceeded his appointed authority and he is not investigating a crime; he's a political hack looking for some crime, any crime,  to charge President Trump with.  So he, and his position, have become nothing more than a political tool designed to hamper a president... a prospect far outside the realm or intent of the Constitution.  

We're to blame for allowing this charade to go on and on and on. 

WE CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH

We don't seem to have the inner strength and fortitude in this country that it takes to remain free and democratic:   

• We allowed Obama, Clinton and Rice to walk away from Benghazi uscathed
• We allow our healthcare system to continue raping and pillaging our pocketbooks
• We tolerate illegal entry into our county and turn a blind eye to their raping, murdering  and pillaging 
• We allow Russia to attack our allies and get away with it
• We allow our elections to be defrauded and we say nothing about it
• We allowed our President, our Senate and our Representatives to stick us with unheard of trillions of dollars of deficit spending just two years ago, and we didn't even whimper about it

Well, here's the bitter and cold, hard truth: we obviously don't give a damn about our country anymore.  

Sit on that and constipate the situation.  
 

GM COMMITS CORPORATE SUICIDE

If you own stock in General Motors, now is the time to sell it... before it totally tanks.  You see, they are going to lay off 15,000 American workers and close four plants, while keeping their huge Mexican operations and cheap labor.  It's an outrage. 

I predict that U.S. car sales will also tank, driving profits and stock prices even deeper into the hole.   

They are NOT too big to fail and they and their stockholders totally deserve to go straight to hell.  By their anti-American actions, they have sealed their own fates.

Bob Goodlatte and Paul Ryan have issued subpoenas to Loretta Lynch and James Comey.  What a farce.  

Ryan did everything possible to prohibit the House Judiciary Committee from doing just that, so why does he allow it now?  

Well, the Democrats are taking over in the House and neither Lynch or Comey will ever have to testify.  The investigation all but came to a screeching halt on election night.  Ryan and Goodlatte both know that, so it's all just a fancy fairy tale... a mind game played on the American public.   

Somebody should pee in their bourbon. 

THE END OF THE TRUTH

I've heard a parade of House Republicans over the last few days admit that the House investigations into FISA warrants, Clinton emails, the Clinton Foundation pay-for-play, the FBI and the DOJ are all going to come to a screeching halt.  Hillary and her thugs are going to get off with their horrendous violations of national security regulations and their vast corruption because... the Democrats will be in control of the House and truth stops now.  

Until Americans get enough spine to stand up and demand what is right... well, we're obviously willing to submit ourselves to a fascist government. 

Don't blame me.  I'm not afraid to tell it like it is.  

HOW MUCH MORE OF THIS LEFTIST AGENDA CAN WE TAKE?

Every time we turn around, our values and our history are under a new attack from the radical left.  The Democrat Party has been aggressively taken over by what seems to be foreign liberals and enemy influence.  Their hateful approach to Americanism is leading the nation straight into the grasp of fascism. 

They have permeated Hollywood, the press, the media, the courts, our schools and our universities.  All sense of dignity and decorum has been tossed out of the window; if their demands are not met, they scream and yell, file law suits, get in people's faces, throw rocks and riot in our streets.  In the courts, they have created a two-tier system of justice: regardless of what the law says, they win and we lose.  Now, they seem to have infiltrated our election systems as well. 

They relentlessly attack our religious beliefs and every semblance of propriety, morals and ethics.  They successfully pit us against one another... dividing and conquering at every turn, every minute of every day.    

When will we come to our senses and do something about it?  

 

PRESIDENT TRUMP GETS CALLED OUT

CNN and Jim Acosta are suing President Trump and the White House.  It's all about Acosta's continuing belligerent and disrespecting conduct.  The lawsuit says, in essence, that no reporter has to abide by any rules, imagined or written,  about conduct.  Reporters are free to interrupt, talk over and berate whoever is at the podium, and if the President or anyone else doesn't like it, that's just plain tough.  

So, neither Acosta or CNN is to blame;  President Trump is. 

Nowhere in the Constitution, even when it talks about freedom of the press, does it say that the White House is obligated to bend over and take whatever the Press Corps wants to shove up there. 

Enough is enough.  Throw them all out until they create some rules of decorum, conduct and ethics with which they must agree to abide. 

PRESIDENT TRUMP IS DEAD WRONG ON THIS CALL

I don't disagree that California's forests have been badly mismanaged.  Nevertheless, we poor pissants in California have no control over what the idiots in Sacramento decide; we live in a state where our votes truly do not count because the system is rigged against us.  

So, when President Trump threatened to pull federal relief funding for these horrible fires we've been having, he was seen as saying that we can just all burn and suffer the consequences.  

Believe you me... that was the wrong thing to say.

THE CASE FOR CARRYING A GUN

I personally think that anyone who shoots another human being is not mentally fit to own a gun unless he's at war or unless it's in self-defense.  By definition, then, the shooter in Thousand Oaks should not have been possession of a firearm... or any weapon for that matter.  

I've always taken the position that, in these troubled times, citizens should buy a gun, learn how to use it under many varying conditions, get a concealed carry permit and carry their sidearm with them wherever they go.  The fact is that virtually all mass shootings occur in a building or area where people are not armed... schools, shopping malls, churches, etc.  They are what we call "soft targets," where there is likely to be little or no resistance to the shooting lunatic. 

Bars are classic examples of such soft targets; it is illegal in most jurisdictions for people to carry a firearm into a bar.  That is because people under the influence are likely to do crazy things; tempers are lost more easily and things escalate rapidly.  Anytime there is a shooting at a bar, you can bet that the shooter was lacquered up.  

Having said that, you would think that at least one patron in that bar would have had a weapon locked up in his car in the parking lot and been able to go and retrieve it.  While many states would at least revoke a concealed carry permit if they discovered the owner had had a few drinks and had a gun in his car, I can pretty much guess that a large percentage those of us who carry leave their gun locked up in their car when they go into a bar.  That being the case, someone should have been able to escape out a window, retrieve his/her gun and return to neutralize the shooter. 

I'm going to guess it took at least two minutes for law enforcement to arrive at the scene after the first call for help was made, and I'm also going to guess that a large number of those killed or injured were down within the first 60 seconds.  That's because there is a large number of people in close proximity and they don't instantly realize what is going on.  Two minutes into such a situation and any capable, trained shooter can get 90 or more shots off, each of which could easily find its mark. 

Simply put, they were all sitting ducks.  Anybody walking into a location where guns are prohibited is increasing his/her risk.  I personally don't linger in such places very long and I always check out escape routes as soon as I do go in.  

Get a gun.  Learn how to use it.  Get a permit to carry.  Carry wherever you go.  Don't be to blame for not being able to  stop a tragedy like this.  

ELECTION DAY PRANKS

We've always had election pranks on Election Day, but they really got carried away this year.  For example, Monday night a landlord closed down the building where a Maricopa County, Arizona polling place was to open Tuesday morning.  He said it was closed down due to a "foreclosure dispute." 

Election machines in New York City and Atlanta mysteriously malfunctioned, causing a huge delay during a very busy turnout.  

Some problems were legitimate; many polling places ran out of ballots.  

The thing I am most relieved about is ghat there were no reported instances of violence at any polling place... as of 6:00 PM PST.  

Who knows what the Chinese, Russians and Iranians were up to?

CARAVANS IN TROUBLE

As many as half of the originals in the first caravan to the U.S. have either turned back or decided to stay in Mexico after organizers demanded, and were refused, buses to take the remaining immigrants to our border.  The heat, lack of sleeping accommodations and long days of walking are taking their toll.  Added to that, word has now reached the caravans that the U.S. is sending massive numbers of troops to the border to turn them back. 

It also appears that the Mexican government may be actively attempting to slow down the progress of the caravans.  Caravan organizers themselves appear to be confused and uncertain of what to do next.  

Just where this will all end, nobody knows for certain.  Where the blame is ultimately going to fall is anybody's guess.  One thing is now clear: they won't be at our borders to disrupt Election Day.  

DECLARING A NEW WAR: HUGE NEW IMMINENT TERRORIST THREAT

Don Lemon, one of CNN's top stars has come out and proclaimed that the single biggest terrorist threat to the United States is the white male.  "We have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right, and we have to start doing something about them.”  

If that is not frightening rhetoric, nothing is.
