A group of individuals and organizations worked together to negotiate with the Taliban and obtain the release of 100 Americans and allies from Afghanistan, and then the White House wouldn't let the plane land in the U.S.? 

 

AOC Has Childish Breakdown

The House voted 420-9 to fund Israel's Iron Dome defense system. Fellow House members rushed to AOC's side to console her as she broke down in uncontrollable tears.  Reps. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn.; Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich.; Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass.; Cori Bush, D-Mo.; André Carson, D-Ind.; Marie Newman, D-Ill., Raúl Grijalva, D-Ariz.; Chuy Garcia, D-Ill.; and Thomas Massie, R-Ky., all voted against the bill. 

It's just not fair, I guess; not a single soul should ever vote against her!

Stranded in Bullshit

With the official withdrawal of all U.S. troops in Afghanistan and the closure of the Kabul embassy, there are no U.S. officials remaining in the now Taliban-controlled nation to complete the required applications for leaving the country.  Blinken tells reporters it was his "understanding" that the "Taliban has not denied exit to anyone holding a valid document, but they have said those without valid documents, at this point, can't leave. 

Blinken says established procedures require an in-person exit interview, but since there are no U.S. personnel left at the embassy, the interviews cannot be conducted. Therefore, uncleared individuals can't leave and since those people are on the same planes as some who have been cleared, nobody can leave. 

Red tape is red tape, no matter how many lives are at stake. 

 

Biden's Priorities

Now that the Taliban has released 1,000+ terrorists from Afghanistan's prisons, it is entirely possible... even probably... that some of them have already made their way across our southern border into the U.S.  As for Biden, he's busy helping Tajikistan close its border with Afghanistan to prevent terrorists from going there.

Military Uniform Failure

Any third grade student could figure out what went wrong with this picture.  

Yesterday, it oozed out that the Taliban was wearing combat uniforms of U.S. military personnel. They stole those, along with the huge stash of weapons and ammo after the generals in charge moved the troops out of Bagram Air Base leaving everything behind.  

The problem is that U.S. Troops at the Kabuk airport now don't tell a member of the Taliban apart from their own soldiers. Not only that, but Americans and others who are desperately seeking to get out of the country by heading for the airport now don't know that the "friendly" U.S. troops there to help them are actually members of the Taliban, waiting to beat and shoot them to death.

Pelosi says that any political settlement that the Taliban pursues must include having women at the table.

That statement from her royal highness who thinks, for some reason that escapes me, that the Taliban respects what she has to say?

California's Governor Newsom says everybody outside of the state is bitching about the state. If he had enough sense to pay attention, he'd also know that everybody IN the state is bitching about the state!  

SPECIAL POST: Ugly Story Burning in California

We've known for months in California that we were going to be in a drought and that fire danger in the forests would be extremely high this summer. Yet, now that the fires are devouring our state, taking out the town of Greenville and threatening all communities around Lake Almanor to over 280,000 acres, with several other major fires burning, it is apparent that Governor Newsom is woefully unprepared.

He's been spending state resources on attending to the illegal aliens as opposed to preparing for droughts and fires. And I'll bet my last dollar that he hasn't even considered putting any of those illegals to work cleaning out the forests and reducing the danger. To the contrary, he's putting them up in hotels with room service and lavishing our tax dollsrs on them!

That's one of numerous reasons why the Democrats, and Newsom in particular, have to be removed.

Uncle Joe claims his administration has beaten Covid-19, followed by the CDC telling vaccinated people they have to start wearing masks again because Covid is on the upsurge.  

 

Biden Begs, Pleas for Taliban to Talk Peace

One thing I learned in my lifetime is this: If you're going to have a negotiation about something, it's far better to be negotiating from a position of strength. 

Ignoring everyone's advice to the contrary, Uncle Joe announced a full and complete, unilateral withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan. Now, as predicted, the Taliban is flexing its muscles in that nation, totally negating 20 years of sacrifices and lives lost by our military during its occupation. And now that Biden's actions are blowing up in his face, he's doing what cowardly Democrats do best: beg and plea for mercy.  

Please.... oh please, Mr. Taliban... please let's just sit down and talk!  Maybe we can sip some tea together? That's somewhat akin to allowing Iran to resume its nuclear ambitions, then whining because Iran refuses to rejoin the nuclear "deal." 

What an ass!  What a dangerous ass!

Kamalala: I can't Handle the Job!

Delightful damsel and White House sweetheart Kamalala Harris says she's stretched too thin and overworked, and will have to start telling Biden "No," more often. 

While she has one of the largest staffs in White House history her tasks are probably daunting because her staff keeps walking out the door due to her poor management style. Maybe she should quite and take AOC's former bar tending job?

School Board Steps Into Cesspool of Backlash

Remember that school board in Randolph Township that decided to remove all holiday names from the school calendar and simply label them as "days off?"  Well, there was so much resulting fuss that they called an emergency meeting to discuss the issue.  

It turned out to be rather contentious and led to an 8-1 decision to reverse the plan. 

Tom Tatem, father of four who started a petition demanding school board members resign, and James Jacobi, a father of three, said Tuesday that the victory should be a lesson in transparency for towns across America. "It's not about being the loudest to get your way, it's really about learning that this needs to be a transparent and accountable and collaborative process with the town that you live in," Jacobi said. "And that's one of the biggest messages we were giving the board last night, consistently across 40 different speakers. And that's what they really need to come and think about."

"They got the message," Tatem said. "They reversed course on their decision, which is very much appreciated." 

Maybe there's some hope left for this country after all?

AOC Disowned by Her Puerto Rican Family

AOC had just blamed Trump for her grandmother's squalid living conditions in Puerto Rico when the entire country blamed her for not providing some financial assistance. Then, over $100,000 was raised through a Go Fund Me campaign to help her grandmother out, which she refused because it came from conservative sources.  Now, AOC's Puerto Rican family has come out and said the bad living conditions are due to Puerto Rican corruption, and that Trump has nothing to do with it.  

AOC is so... well, dismayed... that people seem to be turning against her!
