Stranded in Bullshit

With the official withdrawal of all U.S. troops in Afghanistan and the closure of the Kabul embassy, there are no U.S. officials remaining in the now Taliban-controlled nation to complete the required applications for leaving the country.  Blinken tells reporters it was his "understanding" that the "Taliban has not denied exit to anyone holding a valid document, but they have said those without valid documents, at this point, can't leave. 

Blinken says established procedures require an in-person exit interview, but since there are no U.S. personnel left at the embassy, the interviews cannot be conducted. Therefore, uncleared individuals can't leave and since those people are on the same planes as some who have been cleared, nobody can leave. 

Red tape is red tape, no matter how many lives are at stake. 

 

USPS: "Dumb" Knows No LImits

The United States Postal Service, bleeding red ink from continued poor management, is now making two moves: (1) raising the price of first-class postage from 55 cents to 58 cents, and (2) slowing delivery of first-class mail from three days to five days.  

Of course, any marketing strategist will tell you that when your volume goes down, that's not a good time to raise prices.  

The USPS says that they can cut expenses by slowing delivery. I don't get it. If you're moving 1,000 pieces, why does it cost less to move it in three days that five? It's still 1,000 pieces and requires the same amount of mail trucks and personnel to deliver. All you're doing is pissing off the public.  

It's that same misguided management thinking that is so pervasive today in our government in Washington. 

 

Take Your "Context" and Shove It!

There are teachers in California who are refusing to return to teaching in person in schools due to the Covid.  They are, however, volunteering to teach illegal children in person. White House spokesperson Jen Psaki was asked why.   

She says you have to look at the "context." Since teachers are not busy teaching our kids in person, they are volunteering to teach the illegals in person. 

Isn't that just so sweet?  

NEWSOM FLIRTS WITH OUTRIGHT REBELLION

The news today is that while the total number of Chinese Virus cases is increasing, the actual number of deaths is plummeting.  It could therefore be assumed that the number of cases is increasing because of increased testing. 

Nevertheless, California's Governor Newsom is trying to order all Californian's to wear face masks, or else!  He also intimated late Monday that he may start locking down the state further again.  Evidently, he has no idea how pissed off California residents are with his heavy-handed, dictatorial mandates. 

CHINA CAN GO TO HELL

Government officials seem to be ticked off that China is blocking flights of any passenger planes from the United States.  Why in the Sam Hell do we ever want to deal with them again?  After what they've done to us?  

We've been locked in for three months, we've lost almost 100,000 lives and ruined our economy and we're miffed because they won't let us fly there?

What we should be doing is totally shutting off all relations with them!   

UNHEALTHY POLITICS?

President Trump and the administration’s Coronavirus task force were told that Americans who’d been in quarantine for weeks aboard the Diamond Princess would be brought home, but that patients who had symptoms or the infection itself would stay in Japan.  Trump was briefed on the decision and agreed that healthy passengers should not be on the plane with sick ones. Without telling the President, the State Department and a top U.S. health official then decided to bring back 14 Americans who had just tested positive for the virus and place them in isolation.  Everyone on that particular plane who had just been released from quarantine on the cruise ship was now potentially exposed to the deadly virus. 

That's bad enough but, it has subsequently been learned that the disease is now appearing in clusters that have no traceable connection to existing patients.  The whole world, including the United States, is now in imminent danger of being infested with a horrible and deadly pandemic.  

The government officials involved should be in jail.  

IT'S NOT MANSLAUGHTER

A pregnant Minnesota woman got roaring drunk and was found in a stupor next to her dead infant, which had itself died from intoxication after the unconscious woman gave early birth; the infant was still connected to its mother by an umbilical cord.  Authorities have charged the woman with manslaughter.   

If the woman had had an abortion, that would just fine and dandy.  

So... what's the difference?  Why is she being charged with manslaughter?  

YOU COULD BE TO BLAME: HERE'S THE REAL POOP

According to a report by environmental groups Stand.earth and the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), Americans use too much toilet paper, helping to destroy the habitats of native people who live where it is sourced and contributing to global warming.  U.S. consumers use roughly three rolls of toilet paper a week, accounting for a fifth of the world's tissue consumption, according to the report. 

The report does not point out that the vast majority of toilet tissue used in this country is used on Capitol Hill by the Democrats, who continue to be upset that Donald Trump was elected president.  Look for those same Dems to try and pass a law which limits the number of rolls of tissue a person can legally purchase in the United States.  Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez might even try to institute a mandatory return to the use of corncobs.  

The push to restrict the use of toilet tissue fist right in with California's plan to limit the flushing of toilets to once a day.

GUN FREE ZONE

As I suspected, the high school in Santa Fe, Texas was a gun free zone. 

I'm a concealed carry permit holder, but I could not legally set foot on that campus with a loaded firearm.  All I could legally do would be to stand on the street and watch the carnage unfold.  

Had I been there, had I seen what was about to happen, had I exited my car and run onto the school grounds to intervene... I'd be the one in jail.

How does that sit with you?   

RED BLUFF SHOOTING: BLAME GOVERNOR BROWN?

Just a month ago, California's illustrious Governor "Moonbeam" Jerry Brown signed legislation that bans school superintendents from allowing designated concealed-carry-permit holders to carry their weapons on campus.  That means he created hundreds of more gun-free zones in the state... ripe hunting grounds for active shooters. 

Yesterday, a known felon... prohibited from buying, owning or possessing guns, went on a rampage in northern California near a Red Bluff elementary school.  Tehama County Assistant Sheriff Phil Johnston said the shooter was "randomly picking targets."  Four people were killed and ten injured including two elementary school students before the shooter was shot and killed by law enforcement; the shooter tried to gain access to locked classrooms.  The shooter's neighbors said he was a lunatic, shooting off hundreds of rounds in the days preceding the tragedy.  And the Governor issued a statement saying he was "saddened to hear about today's violence in Tehama County, which shockingly involved schoolchildren."

Okay, Mr. Know-it-All:  With all of these great laws you've been enacting to get control of guns... (1) How did he get access to guns, (2) how did he purchase ammo,  (3) how many people on the school campus were prepared to stop him before he started shooting kids, (4) since it's law enforcement's job to stop these shootings and that's your chief argument against private citizens owning guns, why was this guy able to create seven different crime scenes before he was stopped? 

Brilliant.  Just brilliant. 

DEMOCRATS: NORTH KOREA MUST NUKE US FIRST

There's a movement on among Congressional Democrats to pass a bill preventing the President from exercising a preemptive strike against North Korea.  They're demanding that the President must first get permission from Congress to do so, and therefore cannot do anything until they actually attack us.   

Here's the likely scenario:  Reliable intelligence comes in that Kim Junk-un is going to nuke Los Angeles within the hour. The President calls Congress and requests permission to speak to a joint session and ask for permission for a preemptive strike.  Two hours later, Congress agrees to allow him to speak, but the President withdraws his request and instead asks for $100 billion to go and bury 3 million residents of Los Angeles County who have just been nuked. 

Democrats continue to have knee-jerk solutions to the nation's problems without thinking through to the results of their actions, don't they?

JUST HOW DUMB CAN THEY GET?

There's a move afoot among some Democrats and Republicans to pass a Bill prohibiting President Trump from launching a preemptive strike against North Korea.  

Evidently, they favor seeing a U.S. city in ashes before we do anything.  

CONGRESS DROPS PLAN TO DRAFT WOMEN

They would try to explain it away for other reasons, but it appears that an upswelling of American anger about plans to require women to register for the draft has caused Congress to drop the plan.  A vote in the House on the new defense bill, which does not contain the draft provision,  is expected by Friday, followed by action in the Senate next week.  

Congress, at least over the last 30 years or so, has continuously come up with lame ideas that just don't make common sense.  We haven't had ANY draft in decades... In fact, Nixon ended the draft in 1973.  I think that means the requirement for males to register for the draft is just a formality; in recent decades, I have never heard of anyone being charged and prosecuted for failure to register. 

So, why the move to require women to register in the first place?  Some zombie bureaucrat evidently decided along the way that it would be discriminatory to require men, and not women, to register for the draft.  The lamebrains in Congress bought into the idea.  But now, they're suddenly doing everything they can to distance themselves from the proposal.  

They're not to blame; that idiot bureaucrat, who ever he/she is, is to blame.  
 

AND NOW... CALIFORNIA IS REGULATING FARTS

Just when you thought our politicians and government officials couldn't get any more lame-brained, along comes some nitwit who puts all of the rest of them to shame.  In an effort to reduce global warming, Jerry Brown and his moonbeam friends have come lout with a new state law that regulates cow farts.  " Brown's approval of Senate Bill 1383 goes after short-lived climate pollutants, which include methane, black carbon, and HFC gases, per the Associated Press.

Dairy farmers have to cut methane emissions to 40 percent below 2013 levels by 2030. Who in God's name was measuring?  Under a modified cap-and-trade plan, farmers will receive aid from the $50 million or so raised via polluter fees, which they can then put toward machinery that uses methane to create energy they can in turn sell to electric companies.  

As a side thought, one has to wonder why Noah's ark didn't erupt in an explosion, with all of those animals aboard.  This brilliant thinking on everyone's part had to have come after a night of hard drinking, smoking and snorting.  But, it's also a thinly disguised plot to create more bureaucratic jobs at the taxpayer's expense, because you and I both know that the price of beef is going to go up, as will taxes to support the new jobs.   

I know I'm way off base here and I'll probably get tons and tons of emails, but why just cows?  What about pigs or sheep?  For that matter, haven't deer, bears, elk, mountain lions, porcupines and elephants been spreading their noxious methane gases for eons on this planet?  Is this a Rube Goldberg scheme or not? 

On second thought, what about politicians and bureaucrats?  I'd venture a guess that any governor worth his salt can out-fart a cow any day of the week.  Whaddya say to that, Mr. Guv? 

KEYSTONE COPS IN CHARGE OF DOMESTC TERRORISM

Once more we are faced with the question of why a terrorist or terrorists carrying out attacks in the United States were not detected prior to their heinous acts of terror.  In the case of Ahmad Khan Rahami, his own father had reported to the F.B.I. two years prior to his attacks that he had become a terrorist; indeed, the feds knew that Rahami had been to Afghanistan and Pakistan, but he still was not on their radar.  

This is not the first time that terrorists should have been stopped.  One can only shrug his shoulders and ask how we can trust the F.B.I. when it refuses to recommend prosecution of a Hillary Clinton or when it refuses to investigate potential terrorists when their own parents turn them in.  It's beyond my comprehension.  

But, I'm not done yet.  Around 850 illegals with known criminal legal issues and who were therefore slated for deportation were mistakenly granted citizenship and allowed to stay here.  Rumor has it that there may have been up to 1,000 more that gained citizenship in the same manner.

You have to ask yourself just who is in charge of this insane asylum, why we are putting up with it and whether or not we really want four more years of it.

If the Republicans are giving Donald Trump this much of a problem right now, that means they're going to be at war with him when he gains the White House.  

So, why should we re-elect them?  They are the problem. 

ANOTHER WONDERFUL V.A. STORY

Elizabeth Rivera works for the Department of Veteran's Affairs in Puerto Rico.  She got arrested for armed robbery and plea bargained.  She then got re-hired by the V.A. because they have no rules covering off-duty conduct.  And yes... she got back pay and benefits.  

WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING...

The Obama administration has committed to bringing at least 10,000 Syrian refugees onto American soil in fiscal year 2016 by accelerating security screening procedures from 18-24 months to around three months.  And they want to see the figures increase in 2017. 

If you accelerate screening time-frames, how can you possibly vet these refugees?  It appears that Obama actually WANTS to see another  terror attack in the United States. 

U.A.L. PILOT AND HIS SIX BROTHELS

A United Airlines pilot, Bruce Wayne Wallis, was arrested recently on charges that he and another person were running six Houston-based brothels.  He reportedly had at least 20 mostly Russian workers from which he was making $400 per week... each. 

I suppose that if the employees had been Mexican illegals drawing American benefits and voting Democrat that nobody would have said a word.  

HAS RUBIO BEEN BRAINWASHED?

We all remember that sad debate performance when Rubio kept on reciting the same script over and over again, word for word, four different times in response to four different questions. Christie made a whole lot of hay over that, but I now understand that Rubio has done it again.  

It was on the Bill O'Reilly show Monday night.  “It depends on what the American people are willing to support…”  He repeated it word for word eight times in a ten minute interview.  I understand he also did it a couple of weeks ago in a New Hampshire speech. 

I think he's been in too many coaching sessions from the "establishment."  Maybe they are now using waterboarding techniques?  

Oh, and by the way... Rubio told CPAC there is no way he will attend this year; he's much too busy.
