The story oozing out of Ferguson and the grand State of Missouri now is that the riots there were caused by the media. Notice how everyone is so anxious to point the fickle finger of blame at someone else?
Well, to a certain extent, they are probably right for a change.
After all, the media was reporting daily that a Grand Jury verdict was due at any moment, and proposing that there was going to be more rioting... even regardless of how the decision went. And when it came down, every major network was there with their cameras, dish antenna trucks and reporters.
Those who wanted to riot now had a platform... they knew the whole world would be watching.
We have no business giving criminals a platform.
