Down there in good old Catoosa, Oklahoma, 12 Hispanic restaurant workers just got fired. It seems they decided, (without warning), to take a day off in support of the "Day Without Immigrants" movement. The owner of the "I Don't Care Bar and Grill" suddenly found himself in the proverbial pickle; he didn't have enough employees to take care of business.
Now, they're all whining. “(They’re) upset they stood for something they felt was necessary so the
community would stand together, and they got terminated for that,” a
friend said.
I mean, after all... You should have the right to walk off a job at any time, without any notice, for political reasons and not get fired, right?
