WHY I WON'T FLY

I love to fly; I even took flying lessons.  I fondly remember the days when the airlines did everything in the world to cater to the traveling public; Delta was the epitome of service and all of the other airlines wanted to be just like Delta.  People actually looked forward to flying; it was a pleasant experience.  

Today, you won't see me on a commercial flight.  Travelers are just a number and that's that.  Fork over the money, get on the damned plane, follow the rules, sit down and shut up.  If you're a good little boy, we'll fork over a few peanuts and four ounces of cheap soda.  If you have to take a pee, you'd better hold it until the plane backs away from the gate, gets off the ground and the "fasten seat belts" sign goes off; otherwise, you're going to get tossed off the plane and, if you pee your pants, that's your problem.  

Some accountant discovered that they could get more suckers on the plane by narrowing the seats and shortening the leg room.  Never mind that by doing so they have more weight on the plane and need more fuel to fly, or that passengers are uncomfortable; if they don't like it, they can walk and we'll put some other paying sucker in their seat.  

The last time I flew, I got onto the internet and got my boarding pass so that I could gain some early seating choices.  They pulled me out of the security-check line and by the time I got to the gate, they had already boarded the the lower boarding pass numbers, so they made me wait until everyone else had boarded.  It wasn't my fault, but I was penalized anyway.  Well... I have an artificial hip, so I always get pulled out of the line, but they don't care.  

So, I'd prefer to drive, even if it takes an extra day.  I can pull over and leak when I need to, I can eat when I want to, I have much better seating and I don't have to follow any stupid, anti-customer rules.  I can get on board when I want and I don't have to sit next to a crying baby or some jackass who hasn't bathed in three months.  

The airlines these days do not deserve my business or my money.  They're to blame for that, not me.  

JUST BUILD THE DAMNED WALL!

Here we are with the Republicans in charge of both Houses of Congress and the White House and, once again... just like before... the Republicans aren't doing a damned thing.  Nothing.  Zilch.  

Outside of issuing some Executive Orders and taking on the horrible international and security messes that Obama left him, Trump has been stymied by a do-nothing Republican Congress.  It seems as if no one in the House can ties their shoes without Ryan's approval and that Ryan works for Schumer.  I think the Senate could somehow manage to get some things done, but they need the House in order to do that.

I'm sick and tired of year after year after year of the same old horse manure.   We give them the torch, and they pee all over it. 

When they all get sent packing next year, they'll have no one to blame but themselves.  

Just build the damned wall and get on with it. 

MORE DESTRUCTIVE BERKELEY RIOTS IMMINENT

Ann Coulter was invited by students to speak at U.C. Berkeley, but the administration decided to cancel her appearance for "security" reasons.  After an uproar, they agreed to reschedule her appearance... in May after classes are out and students have left the campus.  At her insistence, citing freedom of speech at what was once the bastion of Free Speech in the 1960's, she is now slated to speak Thursday night.  

Ominously, law enforcement sources are saying that regardless of whether or not she actually shows up,   there is a “99 percent” chance that the college will erupt in violence.  In fact, extremist groups from across the country are heading to Berkeley.  

To add to the threat, it appears that there is deep discord between the Berkeley Police Department and the city government, led by Jesse Arreguin, (the 32-year-old newly elected mayor facing his first major test in running a large city).  Arreguin has been accused of supporting left-wing violence because he is a member of the group By Any Means Necessary, or BAMN, an anarchist group that has incited violent protests across the country. The mayor was criticized for basically handcuffing police officers who patrolled the recent April 15^th tax day riot which resulted in 11 injuries, including a stabbing. Critics said he restricted police officers so much they could not do their job.

And, my friends, we are to blame for tolerating this open and flagrant insurrection.

OBAMA, CIA COLLUDED WITH FOREIGN SPIES TO DEFEAT TRUMP

According to recent news reports, Obama's CIA Director John Brennan solicited help from and worked with foreign spies in an effort to sway the 2016 election to Hillary Clinton. Brennan wanted to keep his job so he enlisted the help of foreign spies from the United Kingdom and Estonia to help get Trump out of the way.  At the same time, he put together a phony case for a multi-agency investigation into Trump, thereby allowing top Obama officials, like Susan Rice, to spy on Trump and his team.

In order to ensure maximum political damage for Trump, Brennan leaked key pieces of the investigation to the media—including his closed-door briefings to eight Senators, which wound up on the front pages of The New York Times.

Evidently afraid that the scheme might be revealed after Trump won the November elections, Brennan and other top Obama officials conspired to accuse Trump and his team of having used a Russian connection to sabotage Clinton's campaign.  Of course, the rest of the Democrats and the liberal media jumped right on the ploy.  Obviously, they felt that the best defense against getting caught was to throw out a h-u-g-e red herring.  

 

LIBERALS, MEDIA NEED TO BE SILENCED... PERMANENTLY

The liberal left and the media have been in cahoots with each other for years now, trying to wipe conservatism and Americanism off the face of the earth.  They have been actively trying to trash Freedom of Speech in this country by marginalizing and shouting down anyone and everyone who dares to challenge their anti-American agendas.  

Although they have been egged on and funded to a large extent by George Soros, they have also willingly morphed themselves from being people who disagree with some fundamental principles of American Democracy into becoming willing to burn, riot, plunder and destroy people, buildings and idealism in order to bring the country to its Constitutional knees.  

We are to blame for allowing them to get away with it, and it simply has to stop.  
 

GUN SALES DROPPING

Now that we have a pro-gun President, people seem to be less concerned about losing Second Amendment rights; background checks declined in January for the second consecutive month.  

Well, that should make the liberals happy.  However, it's not really a good idea.  What if Kim Jong-un manages to get a garbage scow over to the West Coast and light off a firecracker or deploy 150 goose-steppers?  100 million or more gun owning Americans might not be able to fend them off.  

I'm not going to preach that every American should have a gun.  But, I am going to preach that every American  should think about and be prepared to implement a strategy of self-defense should the occasion ever arise.   For example, it never ceases to amaze me how many women get kidnapped, raped and worse... while jogging along vulnerable roads and paths with absolutely no means of self-defense.  

Enough said?  

TERRORIST THREAT LEVEL AT ALL-TIME HIGH

Yesterday, I said the shootings in Fresno were a terrorist act.  I've taken some heat for that and the national media is playing the situation as being simply racist oriented.  The man professed to be, and acted like, a Muslim.  He shot four people; regardless of color, he intended to shoot many more.  He hollered "Allahu Akbar."  I standby my statement.  

We cannot allow the idiotic media in this country to cover it up any longer.  We're faced with radical Islamic terrorism in this country... period.  DHS Secretary John Kelly says our threat level is as high, if not higher, than it was on 9/11: “The threat to our nation and our American way of life has not diminished.  In fact, the threat has metastasized and decentralized, and the risk is as threatening today as it was that September morning almost 16 years ago." 

Maybe you think you can't do anything about it, but you're wrong.  Not only can you keep your eyes and ears open, but you can also get damned vocal about your concerns with your Congressional delegates and with your friends and neighbors.  We need to raise the level of awareness in this country and we need to stop being patsies and sitting ducks... or we'll be to blame.  

ANOTHER SENSELESS MUSLIM TERRORIST ACT

A man in Fresno went on a shooting spree yesterday, killing three while proclaiming "Allahu Akbar!"  

These terrorist acts by radical Islamic cells and lone wolves are occurring all too frequently in our country.  Yet, where is the outrage? 

We have been told time and again to tone it down, don't pick on the Muslims.  "Not all Muslims are bad," it is rationalized.  Well, I don't hear any outrage from the Muslim community, either.  As a matter of fact, it's been ominously silent from that sector. 

Kori Ali Muhammad was already wanted for killing a security guard at a Motel 6 the week before.  He was also known to have posted radical statements on his Facebook account.  

Of course, the sentiment is always that if they can find a way to stop suck acts of terrorism in the future, they'll jump at at.  How about some good old-fashioned religious profiling, some monitoring of social media accounts, some reporting of friends or associates of people who exhibit terrorist tendencies and some tips from the so-called "peaceful" Muslim communities? 

We're to blame for accepting these acts as being the "new normal." 

NORTH KOREA, I.S.I.S., SYRIA AND IRAN ARE NOT TO BLAME

We are.  

Just ask any liberal or any Democrat.  

DISTRESSED

This country was founded on some pretty strong principles, among them being the principle that you have every opportunity to prove your innocence in a Court of law but that, once found guilty, you pay for your crimes.  Fairness and equal justice for all have been hallmarks of our nation for time immemorial.  Yet, we now once again find ourselves in the situation where we see crime and corruption in our government and this time, we don't do anything about it. 

Why is that?  

Don't give me the bull that you can't fight city hall.  This is our country at stake.  If there is crime and corruption at the very top echelons of the country, what can we expect from the trickle down effect? 

So, we have to do something about it. 

I mean, when Nixon screwed up, we went right after him.  But,  when Clinton screwed up, we let her off the hook and, frankly, her screw ups were far worse than Nixon's. 

It bugs the hell out of me that her "indiscretions" have not been thoroughly and properly investigated.  You and I know she deserves to be in jail, so why isn't she?  Why has Trump ignored it?  Why has Congress ignored it?  We know the FBI is as crooked as hell these days, but what about the Department of Justice under Sessions?  

If we don't pound our fists down and demand some answers... who IS to blame?

COMEY AND FBI LIES

Just a few weeks ago, James Comey told Congress and the world that there was no truth to President Trump's assertion that his team had been bugged under the Obama administration.  And he insisted that he had no knowledge of a FISA warrant ever being issued to authorize such surveillance.  If any such bugging took place, he would have us believe, the FBI was not to blame for it. 

Now we learn through a WASHINGTON POST investigation that the FBI requested, and was issued, a FISA warrant to monitor Carter Page, a Trump advisor, for alleged "ties to Russia."    

The FBI has obviously been politicized.  What was once a bastion of honesty and integrity in America has relegated itself to the cesspool of Washington knavery.  
 

IS LOIS LERNER GOING TO JAIL?

The former IRS employee who refused to testify before Congress has been referred by the House Ways and Means Committee to the Department of Justice for criminal prosecution.  The Obama administration did everything possible to keep Lerner from testifying because they were afraid that the investigation would uncover ties with the White House during illegal use of the IRS to target Obama's enemies.  

Additionally, the House Oversight Committee will soon vote on whether to hold Lerner in contempt of Congress. 

But, how can you blame her?  She's a Democrat. 

WE DON'T CARE HOW MUCH MONEY WE LOSE...

There have been many big business that bit the dust because they didn't pay attention to what their customers wanted or to changing market strategies.  TARGET is likely to become one of them.  

In April of last year, they announced their new transgender bathroom policy whereby patrons could use the bathroom of their choice, regardless of gender.  That decision led to a massive boycott and a plummeting bottom line.  A recent announcement from the company's president Brian Cornell says that the company is not backing down.

The U.S. Navy aircraft carrier U.S.S. Carl Vinson has abruptly turned back from steaming toward Australia and is now headed, with its flotilla of ships, back toward the Western Pacific region of the Korean Peninsula.

IF YOU'RE GOING TO GO AFTER SUSAN RICE...

You have to go after Hillary Clinton.  How can you not?  

INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES STONEWALL CONGRESS

Intelligence agencies supposedly now under control of President Trump are steadfastly refusing to provide Congressional committees investigating the Obama bugging of the Trump team with any information or answers.  

Who runs this country, anyway? 

GOVERNMENT: YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW

The Department of Veterans Affairs expanded its horrible reputation tenfold under the Obama administration.  The endless parade of news about dying vets and horrendous wait lines almost totally sunk the agency.  

Now, they're trying to regroup and rebuild.  There are some 45,000 vacancies within the V.A. and the Trump Administration has seen fit to waive most of the federal hiring freeze requirements to help the V.A. get back on its feet.  The problem seems to be that nobody wants to work there.  

I don't think anybody wants to work for the F.B.I. either. 

SUSAN RICE LIVES DOWN TO HER REPUTATION

Who can forget U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice's trip around the major networks just after the Benghazi Massacre when she blamed the attack on a now famous video that actually had nothing to do with the attack?  Who can forget that she took that outlandish position when she in fact knew that it was a total fabrication?  In other words,  she lied to the American people because she was asked to by Obama and Clinton.  

Now we have the situation where surveillance was undertaken against Donald Trump long before he won the Republican nomination.  Ostensibly, this surveillance amounted to "incidental" information gathered through the monitoring of foreign diplomats and agents.  We do not know at this time if that is true or not; I suspect it is not.  I suspect the surveillance was directly aimed at Trump and his organization for political purposes.  

Nevertheless, the story is that the intelligence was gathered and that the names of individuals who were monitored "incidental" to the project were "unmasked," which is illegal.  And we then learn that our good friend Susan Rice is at the center of this most recent Obama-Clinton slimy project; she was the one who arranged for the "unmasking" and dissemination of Trump-Team names.  

And you and I also know that she didn't do these things on her own; she did them because she was asked to by her boss. And who was her boss?  Obama or Clinton... take your pick.  

I.S.I.S. IS NOT DEAD

We've been making great strides in dealing with I.S.I.S. overseas during recent weeks.  Trump even came out and said we'd be defeating them on the battlefield "within weeks."  But, the plain simple fact is that they are not going away. 

Instead, they have become more sophisticated in how they go about the business of annihilating us.  Take for example the recent determination that they have gained the ability to conceal deadly bombs in laptop computer cases.  Then, of course, is the new attack method of driving into crowds with trucks.  In short, they're becoming more tech savvy and they're "re-tooling" in order to carry out new and more deadly attacks away from the mid-eastern deserts.  

If they have learned how to miniaturize explosives into laptops, think what damage they could do by carrying such devices and planting them at various crowded locations in this country.  And we all know that the Obama regime did virtually nothing to prevent the influx of terrorists into the United States.  

Frankly put, we're sitting ducks and the danger is worse than it has ever been. 

We have no one to blame but ourselves, because we allowed the Obama administration to ignore its first and must fundamental priority... to protect and defend the citizens of the United States.
