U.S. BUYING RUSSIAN HELICOPTERS

I guess Putin and the Russians are really not to blame.  Otherwise, why would the U.S. which is supposed to be imposing "sanctions" against Russia for its Ukrainian foray be buying 90 Russian helicopters?  

We're pulling out from Afghanistan and it needs helicopters.  For some obscure reason, we chose to buy them the helicopters and didn't even offer the contract to American manufacturers; we chose instead to buy the high-maintenance copters from Russia. 

Gosh, isn't that just so sweet? 

ARE WE POWERLESS AGAINST N.S.A.?

Back in December, an unnamed major telephone company won a District Court hearing which ruled that the wholesale and arbitrary collection of telephone records was unconstitutional.  In January, the company petitioned the FISC court to “vacate, modify or affirm the current production order” and to stop the collection order.  In March, the FISC ruled that the telecommunications company “provides no basis for vacating or modifying the production order.” It also defined the previous Circuit Court decision questioning the Constitutionality of the NSA’s actions “unpersuasive.” 

In other words, what N.S.A. wants, N.S.A. gets, the Constitution be damned. 

It is the responsibility of the American citizen to inform him or herself regarding what is going on with his or her government and to insist that Congress perform its duties as the watchdog oversight.  Failure to do so is nobody's blame but ours. 

ILLINOIS SCUTTLES $100 MILLION OBAMA LIBRARY

Following an enormous political backlash, Illinois Democrats have backed away from their vote to approve a $100 million Presidential Library for Barack Obama.  Illinois is in dire financial straits and ill-prepared to pony up $5 million for anything, let alone $100 million for a library that is routinely funded through private donations.  Moreover, it appears that political games and shenanigans were employed to get the vote passed.

Most Americans have no idea how corrupt Chicago politics can be.  That's where Obama learned how to manage the way he does.  

As Americans, we're to blame if we don't rise up and take back our country from these thugs and self-serving politicians in November. 

CATCH THIS UPDATE ON I.R.S. ABUSE

Given the blatant abuses of power by the I.R.S., most Americans are upset that the I.R.S. is giving their employees bonuses.  But, catch this update: 

The I.R.S. has paid more than $2.8 million in bonuses to employees who faced disciplinary action in the past year, including about $1 million to employees who owe back taxes, according to TOWNHALL.COM.  And no, they didn't deduct the taxes owed from the bonuses paid. 

Now, you be sure and vote the Cingressmen and Senators back into office in November who are to blame for refusing to put a stop to this B.S., won't you? 

OBAMACARE ENROLLMENT SCHEMES: ACORN RENEWED

At least 79 tax preparation companies in California have been receiving payment from Covered California, the ObamaCare arm in that state, for signing up new ObamaCare members.  You know how it goes: If you want your tax refund, you'd better sign up now for ObamaCare.  

Other reports confirm that some 50,000 former employees and supervisors of ACORN have been signed up as "navigators;"  ACORN went belly-up after getting caught in a voting scam in most states back in the 2008 election, and Obama was at one time their attorney.  Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information Act request with D.H.H.S. last November seeking information on navigators and has been stonewalled. D.H.H.S. has failed to provide a concrete record of what processes navigators must go through before being qualified to handle sensitive information of potential ObamaCare enrollees, leaving the door wide-open for fraud and collection of sensitive information from citizens. 

Maybe Premier Obama will ask the nation's Legal Minister, Eric Holder, to investigate?  It's almost written in the wind, isn't it? 

CABLE COMPANIES VS. SUPREME COURT

There's a case involving Aereo vs. the cable companies now in the U.S. Supreme Court.  Millions of Americans would like a divorce from a multitude of channels they don't watch; Aereo promises to deliver local broadcast channels to your TV, PC, Tablet or Smart Phone via Internet for about $8.00 per month.  The cable companies would lose all of that revenue and are contending Aereo is pirating broadcast signals.  But, broadcast signals are free, so just what is being pirated? 

I'd like to see this monopolistic practice broken up even further.  I watch a total of six different channels on cable, but pay for 150.  I'd like to see it change to where I would subscribe to just those channels that I want to watch and let the others die on their collective vines.  But, until we the public and consumers stand together and demand such a change, we are to blame for being stuck with it. 

PELOSI DOES IT AGAIN

Nancy Pelosi has once again displayed her innate ability to make a not-so-royal ass out of herself, offending Catholics and Christians across the country.  While washing the feet of two immigrant children during Holy Week in San Francisco, she launched a speech about how she intended to get immigration reform passed.  In other words, she used religious ceremony as a framework for political rhetoric.  

Of course, when caught red-handed in her typically pudding-head maneuver, she gave that famous "deer in the headlight" look as if she were not to blame.

GUN CONFISCATION IN CONNECTICUT

James Toigo, a 65-year-old-man from Milford, Connecticut, shot a squirrel in his back yard last Monday.  Upon investigation, local police confiscated an “assault rifle” and three large capacity magazines and then charged him with: unlawful discharge of a firearm, cruelty to an animal, first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree breach of peace, failure to register an assault rifle and three counts of possessing large-capacity magazines. The firearm used to shoot the squirrel was not the semi-automatic rifle that police later confiscated; but officers also seized several other guns, even though they were not used in a crime and were legal.  

Now isn't that just lovely?  Are these guys in training to become BLM agents, or what?  One can only hope that the townsfolk show up to support him the same way protesters showed up in Bunkerville.  Of course, the cops will say they were only following Connecticut's new anti-gun law and blame it on the Newtown shooting.  

When will America have enough of this new wave of oppression by our governments? 

OBAMA'S REFUSAL TO OBEY THE LAW

SThe Congress passed legislation to prevent Iran Ambassador to the United Nations Hamid Aboutalebi from entering the United States.  In signing that legislation, Premier Obama announced that he is only considering the newly enacted law as "guidance."  

In other words, if Obama wants to let the s.o.b. into the country, he doesn't give a damn what law the Congress enacts or even he signs into law.  

How do you feel about having a renegade for Premier?  If you don't have the guts to stand up and intervene, you are to blame. 

IS OBAMA TO BLAME FOR I.R.S. ABUSE?

Almost half of Americans conclude that the White House was directly involved in the targeting of conservative groups by the I.R.S.  Why would that be?

Could it have anything to do with the involvement of the Department of Justice?  Could it be because of the almost daily White House visits by top dogs at the I.R.S. when even Cabinet Members rarely met with the President?  Could it have anything to do with Valerie Jarrett's proclamation that once the election was over, it would be payback time for Obama's enemies?  Is the rampant abuse of power by the B.L.M., the N.S.A., the U.S.D.A., the E.P.A., the D.O.J., the D.H.S. and the Department of the Treasury any clue?  Treasury?  Yes... remember the beginning days of Obama's Presidency when they took over Chrysler and Genera Motors and proceeded to shut down dealerships owned by Republicans? 

Now, if it's not Obama to blame, just who is it... Mary Poppins? 

IT'S TIME TO WAKE UP AND SMELL...

The White House is indignant over revelations that it has glombed on to the gathering of various statistical resources of government agencies, including the stats regarding ObamaCare.  The White House now stands accused of "cooking the books" to make statistical reporting about government results look more favorable for the Administration.  Those damned racists are obviously at it again, "nit-picking" at the White House. 

Is this not reminiscent of the claims way back when that the American Recovery Act was creating more jobs in more Congressional Districts than exist?  Could this have anything to do with the barely audible report a couple of years ago that the government was changing the way it calculated unemployment percentages, followed by a plummet in unemployment from 10%?  Could it be akin to surreptitiously moving $716 billion from Medicare to ObamaCare because Obama didn't want Americans to know the real cost of his prized "health care" robbery?  

I've said it countless times before: You can't trust any stat or any math coming out of the Obama White House.  It's time to wake up and smell the manure. 

REID SCANDALS CONTINUE

U.S. Senator Harry Reid has been deep in scandal for decades, even before becoming a United States Senator.  As a member of the powerful Nevada Gaming Commission, Reid was involved in a scandal involving approval for a gaming license for a key figure in the Tropicana Hotel and, as a result, ended up with the monicker of "Mr. Clean Face."  It was widely conjectured on the streets of Las Vegas that Reid was "on the take" and "in the pocket" of organized crime factions. 

His latest claim to fame involves the now infamous Bundy Ranch in Bunkerville, Nevada.  Allegations abound that Reid pushed the BLM and NPS to get Bundy off of his ranch and BLM lands so that Reid's son Rory could proceed with a $6 billion solar power plant on the land.  One has to wonder if Reid has been involved in obtaining Department of Energy funding for the project.  

There are several other major scandals with Reid's name attached that are percolating around in Washington; all you have to do is Goodle on "Reid scandal" to get clued in on some of them.  

Reid has proven to me beyond any doubt that we need term limits on Senators and Congressmen.  He has grown to wield so much power in Washington that everyone fears him.  Frankly, he belongs in jail for some of his misdeeds.  We're to blame for allowing this predicament to arise.   

GOVERNMENT GONE WILD

The showdown in Bunkerville, Nevada last week and into the weekend is only one symptom out of many that our government has outgrown its britches.  The F.B.I. also stormed the house of a 91-year-old man last week in exactly the same manner... SUV's, body armor and toting automatic rifles... all over the possibility that he had inadvertently collected artifacts in violation of federal treaties with other countries.  The A.T.F. has been searching gun shops and collecting and copying purchase records in blatant violation of the law that says those records must be maintained but are NOT the property of the U.S. Government; the government has obviously decided to start a national gun registry whether we like it or not.  

I could spend the better part of a day here listing the atrocities being perpetrated by our government every day in an oppressive, capricious fascist manner.  It is systemic; it involves the E.P.A., D.O.J., A.T.F., B.L.M., N.S.A., D.H.S. and more, so it has to start at the top.  I cannot speak too passionately about these things; any of us who have studied world history even a smidgen know what is coming next.  

We need to rid ourselves of these two-bit government tyrants and we need to do it today.  The Bundy story has captured that fire in our bellies; let's use it to come to our senses and reign in the runaway Obama federal government thugs right now. 

THE FACTS ON VOTER IDENTIFICATION

I have to say that the word "person" is used in the main body of the Constitution to describe who can vote in any state.  That ambiguity can be an arguing point on the question of whether or not you have to be a citizen in order to vote.  Nevertheless, language in Amendments regarding voting consistently uses the word "citizen." 

The Constitution also provides that each individual state has the right to determine the rules for elections; subsequent amendments define protection for minorities, abolition of the poll tax, etc.  Now comes the issue:  Do states have the authority under the Constitution to require the voter to prove citizenship?  

I cannot fathom the idea that the founders intended to open up elections for Congress and the White House to any Tom, Dick or Harriett.  The right to vote being extended only to citizens of the states or of the United States, the authority to require proof of citizenship is implied.  Equally implied is the obligation of the states or of the United States to provide satisfactory forms of identification to any born or naturalized citizen... at no charge, (no poll tax).  There is no right, implied or otherwise, for the United States government to deny individual states the ability to determine how this shall be accomplished, as long as it is accomplished.  

The position that the states have no right to require photo identification is therefore moot, as long as the above conditions are met.  A central government that allows citizens to vote without proof of citizenship is prima facie guilty of voter fraud, in my opinion.  The fact that so many challenges are now arising regarding the 2012 elections confirms my suspicions.  If we are going to open the door even a portion of an inch to corruption of the voting process, we are to blame for the probable loss of our country. 

BIG DEAL: LERNER HELD IN CONTEMPT

So the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform has voted to hold Lois Lerner in contempt.  Next week, the full House is likely to approve the measure.  Big whoopie; they held Eric Holder in contempt and where did that get them? 

It's time to cut with all of this theater and get the damned facts out.  The House is to blame for dragging its collective feet. 

BENGHAZI: DEMOCRATS CLAIM "WE'RE NOT TO BLAME"

"Enough is enough," according to Congressional Democrats who have their backs up over our attempts to force Republican lawmakers to get to the bottom of the Benghazi Massacre.  They feel that the Republicans are only asking pointed questions and insisting on answers for political reasons.  

Well, dammit, why don't the Democrats come to the table with the facts and let America decide who is to blame for what?  If you are so lilly pure, what have you got to fear?  The fact is, you Democrats ARE collectively to blame for stonewalling the investigations into Benghazi and you are therefore complicit in whatever it was that Obama and his goons are covering up.  

That is the plain, simple fact of the matter.  If they're not part of the solution, they're part of the problem.  Let's tell it like it really is: They are just as much to blame for the horrible deaths at Benghazi as the terrorists are. 

Period. 

EPA EXPERIMENTS ON CHILDREN, ELDERLY

BREITBART is reporting the EPA is under fire for exposing children to diesel pollution as part of an experiment at the University of Southern California.  The EPA's Office of the Inspector General has also stated stated in a recent report that the EPA’s pollution experiments on older people, done at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, were more harmful to the subjects than what the EPA presented.  Subjects in both cases were not told aabout the risks the tests posed to their health and well-being. 

"In February of 2013, JunkScience.com reported that the EPA gave USC money in the mid 2000’s to find out whether diesel exhaust could 'induce reproducible gene expression' in children. From a USC grant in the EPA extramural research grants database, the original December 14, 2012 document showed diesel exposures to children. What now sits on that database is a strongly edited description of the diesel tests on the children. Part of the the experiment's goal was to examine how particulate matter affects 'Asthma in Susceptible Children.'"

Didn't the Germans conduct experiments on humans for "scientific purposes?" Are we in Nazi America, or not? 

WASTED NIGHTS

John Boehner made a big announcement that the House is going to pressure the Department of Justice to file criminal charges against Lois Lerner over the IRS abuse. 

All this is going to do is to give Holder and Obama another opportunity to flip the big bird at the House, just as they have over Fast & Furious, the press scandal and Benghazi.  It's time to stop the horseshit nonsense and get something accomplished.  

Otherwise, they claim they are not to blame and who is going to prove different? 

DO WE REALLY NEED ANOTHER BLACK PRESIDENT?

There is a school of thought in the Republican Party that they simply MUST put up a black candidate in the next election in order to prove to the world that they are not racists. 

That is a typical GOP thought process these days. 

Isn't it about time that we skipped all of the political horseshit and put up some candidates who are actually qualified to hold the office?  I don't care if they ARE black, but let's not make that a criteria of choice.  The only criteria should be "qualification for office."  If we don't follow that simple and essential guideline, we're to be to blame for participating in the decline and fall of America. 

Period.  

MASSIVE VOTER FRAUD UNCOVERED?

Officials in North Carolina are investigating what could be one of  the largest voter frauds in history, probably illegal voting in the 2012 election.  They have identified thousands of registered voters who had information matching that of voters in other states.  They have already identified 765 registered North Carolina voters who appear to have cast ballots in at least two states during the 2012 presidential election.  At least 81 voters who died before the election also cast ballots.  A cross-check mandated by law last year was conducted with 28 other states; the cross-check found listings for 35,570 North Carolina voters whose first names, last names and dates of birth match those of voters who voted in other states. 

Although yet unconfirmed, that's 35,570 potential double-votes discovered in just one state; multiply that by 50 states and you potentially end up with a President who should not be in office.  I wonder if it is possible that voter rolls in several states could have been traded with other states, thereby enabling those other states to pad the vote with bogus ballots. 

NO wonder they are fighting so hard against requiring photo identification. 

CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION?

A Constitutional Convention is not when everyone gets together in Las Vegas to talk about the Constitution.  So, what is it?  

The Constitution provides for amendment.  It recognizes that times change and there may be cases when the Constitution needs to be changed to "keep up with the times."  Believe it or not, the President does not have the authority to change the Constitution on his own.  Without going into details, let me just refer you to Article V to read and digest.  There are two methods for amending the Constitution, one of which is calling for a convention of the states when 2/3 of the states call for such a convention. That would be 33.33 states, or 34 states unless California splits into several states like they're talking about.  

As it happens, 34 states have now signed on to the call for a Constitutional Convention.  The Democrats are having what we call out West a "shit hemorrhage" because... the number one item on the agenda calls for a balanced budget amendment.  The process, by law, must now move forward and when and if 3/4 of the states ratify, or vote for, such an amendment, it becomes the law of the land, even more powerful than ObamaCare. 

Oh my... that sounds like we're blaming Congress for operating without a balanced budget, doesn't it?  Now, how do you think Obama, Reid and Pelosi are going to engineer a way around THIS howdy do? 

OBAMACARE: STILL MORE MONEY DOWN THE DRAIN

Not only are several state exchange websites failing, even after spending hundreds of millions of dollars each, but more negative news puffed out yesterday when someone let it slip that the "law" did not provide for the exchange of information required between insurers and ObamaCare.  In other words, that's why both side claim not to know exactly how many have signed up... and paid.  

It seems they are going to blow a "few more" billions of dollars to correct this "glitch."  

My question is: how many of those 6 million signed up are illegal aliens, getting subsidies and the whole ball of wax?  ("Here, sign this paper and we'll make sure you don't get reported.") 

HAVE YOU PAID YOUR ANNUAL COW FART TAX?

Now, you may think this is an April Fool's joke, but it is not.  The EPA started working well over five years ago on the sources of global warming and concluded that one major source is methane.  Methane gas is a pollutant and contributes to global warming.  Therefore, fellow citizens, cow farts are to blame and the EPA proposes to tax you according to the number of cows that you have.

They're busy right now with their "Smart Fart Tax Meters" running around from pasture to pasture measuring how much methane a cow produces by weight, by breed, by sex, by type of feed and according to the average ambient temperatures of the day.  One could image that in the immediate future they are going to use drones to fly over your property, count your cows and send you a tax bill. 

Don't think for one moment that you can escape this tax by hooking your cows up to some device to collect the methane for use in heating the barn, either; the IRS is already working on an alternative energy use tax. 

Of course, it's only a matter of time before they figure out that humans produce methane farts as well, and then they'll be after us to wear fart meters.  Just think about how much money they're going to collect out of Congress, the White House and the Supreme Court.  Now, if they'd just find a way to hook those folks up to some device to collect their methane farts, I guess we could quit standing up-wind from them, couldn't we?
