A woman has the sole right over her body and therefore has the inherent right to determine whether or not to use abortion as a form of birth control. Besides, the liberals say, the baby "might" be born deformed or sick if you allow it to go full term. And, they further would have you believe, life does not begin until birth, but... in the same breath... it's still okay to allow even a healthy baby to die after birth or to euthanize the baby anyway.
Scientists have concluded that life begins at the moment of conception. The argument that liberals make is that the "life" does not have a soul until birth, so it is perfectly okay to kill the unborn "life," just as it is okay to kill a lamb, a pig or a dog. Even if you buy into that falsehood, killing an unborn baby deprives a soul of the ultimate right to life, regardless of when the soul enters the living tissue.
It is also a well-known fact that if the unborn baby is dead, the body will naturally abort said baby. So it is that through the use of xrays and ultrasounds, medical professionals know long before birth of the baby if he/she is going to have deformities or illnesses and can take remedial intervention or mitigating steps.
When a woman decides to conceive, she takes the ultimate responsibility of caring for the resulting unborn child. They argue that the woman does not necessarily agree to conceive, she just agrees to have sexual relations. If she forgets to take her pill, doesn't insert a sponge, doesn't require the use of a condom... then it's quit acceptable to use murder as a form of birth control; the subject of abstinence doesn't even enter the equation.
Now then... if we were to actually require abortion for Democrats, I have a feeling the arguments would cease to exist altogether.
