During the next two weeks, Sotomayor will be confirmed by the Senate as a Supreme Court Justice. That will set the stage up for the momentum needed by Obama to get the Cap and Trade Energy Bill passed as soon as Congress comes back from summer recess. In fact, I think there's a reasonable chance that a Health Care Bill will get out of the House before the summer recess begins.
Obama is used to getting his way and he will not hesitate to use dirty tricks to get it.
The Republicans are too disorganized and lack the leadership to prevent it. In fact, recent polls that show declining faith in Obama and his goons squads are definitely NOT matched by improving opinions of the Republicans.
More and more, I become convinced that the nation needs a new political party.
