The new Government run Health Plan will provide full health benefits to illegal aliens at the expense of the rest of the taxpayers. Already, it is estimated that the cost to the American public to deal with the many aspects of the illegal alien issue is $86 billion per year. The Federal government, (and the Administration in particular), have not openly revealed what they intend to do about the illegal aliens already in this country. Yet, the guaranteed provision of free health care to illegal aliens will certainly be an intense attraction for more Mexicans to cross the border, especially when you consider the quality of medicine that they get there.
Both political parties have been tolerant of the illegal alien problems because they want to use them to vote. Yes, that’s unethical and should be illegal, but it’s a fact. Our politicians are corrupt to the bone.
In July, the number of unemployed persons was 14.5 million, according to the Department of Labor. That is 9.4% of the labor force. This figure does not include those who have fallen off of the unemployment rolls because their benefits have expired. The actual unemployment rate is closer to 17%, or 25 million. And, this figure does not include the 12 to 18 million illegal aliens and whatever their rate of unemployment might be. The point is, 25 million Americans are totally out of work, (we have no figures available on the under-employed, those who are not working full-time because a part-time job was all that they could find), and competing with up to 18 million illegals for the few jobs available in the marketplace.
Not only is our government not addressing this unemployment issue, but it plans to include them in the new Government Health Plan, and at the expense of those Americans who are working.
A recent poll shows that 83% of Americans are happy with the insurance plans and health care they have. Granted, Americans agree that costs are skyrocketing, but they are saying that they want that issue resolved without changes in the quality of care. It is a given that the quality of care will decline under the new plan. So, the Congress and the President are saying that they are hell-bent on decreasing the satisfaction level of the 83%, and at legal citizens' expense, while providing free care to 12-18 million illegals. Surely, the number of illegals who have little or no health care in Mexico will explode in this country under the government’s healthcare cram-down.
Those on Congressional recess lament that they are hearing the frustration and the anger; they don’t feel that they should have to listen to what their constituents, the electorate, have to say. The President responds by telling Americans to shut up and get out of the way, commanding that we will have a new plan in effect by the end of the year whether we like it or not. Some Congressional Members are now asking Americans to cool down, back off and have a “dialogue.” The fact is that Americans have been raining their concerns and dislikes on Congress for well over two months and Congress and the President continue to ignore them.
The President is now calling on members of the Service Employees International Union, SEIU, to show up at Town Hall meetings and to chase out the protestors. This tactic smacks of what the grand Ayatollah did to the Iranians and Hitler did to the Germans. The Administration is also calling on citizens to “report” to the White House blogs and broadcasts that talk bad things about “the plan.” Censorship looms.
When you back away and look at what is going on, it seems that we are in the midst of an internal overthrow of our government and the will of the people. This is a very dark period in the history of freedom and our country. If we don’t step up to the plate and stand up now, we are soon not going to have either. And then, who can we blame?
