FREMONT'S YELLOW LIGHT SCAM

The City of Fremont, California, has discovered that ticket revenue for running red lights will go up dramatically if you shorten the yellow light up by just .7 seconds.  From February to October of 2016, changing the timing on just two traffic signals raised city revenues by $190,000 per month.  Running a red light there costs you $500.

Well, somebody evidently figured out that the city was raping and pillaging unaware drivers and the signals were abruptly reset.  They tried to explain it away as being a simple "mistake," blaming the mistake on the hiring of a couple of interns.  But, somebody had to tell the interns what switches to turn and to what speed they should be set, right?

And just to show you how forthright and legit they were in laying the blame for the "mistake" on the interns, they made absolutely no effort to return even a dime of all of that money they collected to the drivers who got caught in the traps.

Aren't Democrats all the same everywhere you go?
