The "dirty dozen" Senate Republicans who voted against the border wall are now being brought to task by their constituents. Sen. Roy Blunt from Missouri has come under fire by voters who feel betrayed and was recently
disinvited from the local Christian County GOP event next month.
Wanda Martens, a member of the Christian County Republican
Central Committee, wrote in a scathing email to Bunt: “I am so disappointed in you now that I can hardly speak. Why could you not support my president in the emergency declaration?
President Trump tried every available means to work the Senate to
resolve the border issue and build the much-needed wall. He is well
within his presidential powers to do this.”
Republican Party members have had it up to their ears with the so-called "establishment." They are sick and tired of being ignored and they intend to do something about it in 2020. Paybacks are a bitch.
