I never thought I'd be in the position of thanking CNN News for anything, but they deserve big-time kudos for breaking this story.
The CIA is polygraphing its operatives on a regular basis in an
“unprecedented” effort to prevent Benghazi secrets from leaking out,
CNN’s Drew Griffin is reporting, citing unnamed inside sources. The CIA was on the ground at Benghazi during the attack, according to the story; why they were there is not known.
Since January, some CIA operatives involved in the agency's missions
in Libya, have been subjected to frequent, even monthly polygraph
examinations, according to a source with deep inside knowledge of the
agency's workings. The goal of the questioning is to find out if anyone is talking to the media or Congress. It is being described as pure intimidation, with the threat that any
unauthorized CIA employee who leaks information would face the end of
his or her career. One employee says, "You have no idea the amount of pressure being brought to bear on anyone with knowledge of this operation."
Such pressure surely comes directly from the top and, as far as I am concerned, that means the White House. The White House, Obama in particular, has done everything from the very moment the first shot was fired to obfuscate, confuse and stonewall. I am of the considered opinion that, one we get to the bottom of this, Obama will be impeached and ridden out of the country on a rail.
