HAS NSA SPIED ON CONGRESS?

Well, if we've spied on the Chancellor of Germany, the Queen of England, the Prime Minister of Israel, the Associated Press, et al... Can you imagine why NSA would NOT have spied on members of Congress?  Senator Bernie Sanders from Vermont has fired off an epistle to the NSA asking just one question: "Has the NSA spied, or is the NSA currently spying, on members of Congress or other American elected officials?”

Sanders slammed the embattled agency’s tactics as “almost Orwellian,” adding it was “equally disturbing to learn that the NSA has been involved in listening in on phone calls made by government leaders of countries such as Brazil, Germany, France, Mexico and other U.S. allies.

In the meantime, Representative Peter King from New York went on a rampage against Rand Paul who is preparing to bring a class action lawsuit against NSA's domestic spying.  King has almost directly said that he is willing to give up Americans' Constitutional protections in the interest of security.

Are we going to go through the rest of our lives wondering who is listening to us, who is looking at us or who is reporting on us?  If we lose our freedoms, it won't be because of people like Sanders or Paul; we will have Obama, Reid, King and people like them to legitimately blame.

The irony here is we have a President who caved in to North Korea's nuclear ambitions, who is about to sell out our national security interest in Iran and we have NSA wanting to spy on US because WE supposedly pose a danger to the country.
