Obama's announcement that he was withdrawing all troops from Afghanistan gave encouragement to Al Qaeda, the Taliban and other terrorist groups. President Karzai's corrupt administration has tolerated the Taliban and the country is now disintegrating into violence as Al Qaeda bombings permeate the country. The really sad thing here is that we committed thousands of young Americans to die over there for naught.
That makes me want to vomit, big-time.
There is now talk about sending 10,000 troops back in. For what? So we can lose some more lives for naught? You either go in there with 200,000 troops, drones, bombers and tanks with a full political commitment to clean house and win, or you stay the hell out.
We were making good progress in Afghanistan until Obama stuck his damned nose into it. He is very much... 100%... to blame for this outrage... especially where we predicted the outcome when he made his withdrawal decision.
