EPA TO BLOW $2 MILLION PLUS ON "JUSTICE CONFERENCE"

The E.P.A. has booked the Renaissance Arlington Hotel in Virginia this fall for a conference on environmental justice.  They booked 195 rooms for 24 days each at a cost of $1.6 million.  When you ad per diem for two people per room at $46 per day, that's another $430,000.  PLUS... travel expenses.  

And, we haven't even gotten to the speakers fees, entertainment expenses, printing expenses or wine for the jacuzzi tubs yet. 

I was going to ask why they can't teleconference, but I read in the papers that their computers are crashing like crazy, similar to the I.R.S. crashes.  Total costs will probably approach $4 million. 


How many lives could that save at the V.A.?

An unbelievable stroke of luck for Obama and Lerner: The White House says it doesn't have any copies of any emails to or from Lois Lerner, either. 

So, I guess Obama was correct after all... "There's not even  smidgeon of corruption..." not even a smidgeon.  

What a tale those two lucky buzzards will have to tell their grandchildren.  Unbelievable, but true... those damned emails just flittered off into cyberspace.  

Kinda reminds you of Obama's birth certificate, doesn't it?  

YESTERDAY'S LAUGHS OF THE YEAR

The nation's first quarter national economy results show a shrinkage by 2.9% according to Tuesday's reports.  The bad news yesterday was explained by the White House: "Since costs of medical care are plummeting under ObamaCare, that explains it." 

Oh, E.P.A. computers crashed and internal documents requested by Congress are suddenly... missing. 

Ha, ha HAHHHHH!  I broke three ribs laughing. 

I.R.S. DIDN'T FOLLOW THE LAW?

As unbelievable as it undoubtedly is to left-wing loonies, Archivist of the U.S. David Ferriero said yesterday that the I.R.S. did not follow the law and notify his office back in 2011 when the Lois Lerner emails allegedly went into cyberspace; not a word, not a peep. 

My guess is that one reason he didn't get such a notice from the I.R.S. is that the emails didn't "disappear" until 2014 when the House demanded the crucial emails.  But then again, I'm a right-wing extremist and that's why I think that way. 

MIND BOGGLING I.R.S. LIES

Wrap your minds around this:  Lois Lerner hears that Congress is going to want to investigate the targeting of conservative groups by the IRS in 2011.  A few days later, her computer crashes, losing all of her emails.  Six other computers operated by top I.R.S. officials also crashed, losing only their emails.  One of those six computers was used by an individual who had regular access to the White House and allegedly was working with Democrat Party operatives in targeting, (allegation not yet proven).  A couple of weeks later, I.R.S. terminated a contract held for five years by an external data backup company. 

I'd be willing to bet your next paycheck that the I.R.S. cannot provide documentation showing the computers were repaired or replaced in 2011.  And, I'd be willing to bet your following paycheck that if research were to be done by a competent computer expert today, he would discover that the emails were actually erased sometime in 2014, long after the subpoenas were flying.

I didn't hear anything in Koskinen's testimony last night to change my mind.

I started computing back when software was on one 364k disk and  data was on another one. I learned early on to make frequent backups.  

Right now, my desktop is backed up to my laptop is backed up to an external hard drive is backed up to Carbonite.  I don't work for the IRS or any other organization processing sensitive information. 

And the IRS says it is not to blame for the "lost" emails?  Seven computers, all with valuable emails that Congress wants to see, all died at the same time and none of that data can be recovered?  The IRS is not destroying evidence?  The President is not complicit?

While Obama has been not-so-deftly dealing with the V.A.scandal, the Taliban release and the Iraqi crisis, his favorite nemesis Vladimir Putin has been gearing up more troops along the Ukrainian border in preparation for what may be another invasion and land grab.  Pro-Russian separatists successfully shot down a Ukrainian Ilyushin-76 military transport plane Saturday, killing all 49 aboard. 

President Obama as evidently washed his hands of the Ukranian situation and Russian expansionism, citing the fact that the Ukraine is not part of NATO.  Therefore, I guess, the Ukranians themselves are to blame.

WHO TO BLAME FOR THE IRAQ MESS

I tossed and turned all night Monday, trying to figure out who... or what is to blame for this nasty Iraq mess we have on our hands. 

It finally dawned on me.  

Obama forgot to establish a "red line" around the country before we left. 

WHITE HOUSE I.R.S. TARGETING: THE PROOF

House Republicans have just released a scathing report detailing dozens of examples they allege prove beyond a doubt that the White House and fellow Democrats pressured the I.R.S. to target conservative organizations and groups.  The influence campaign unofficially started during Obama’s January 2010 State of the Union Address in which he “delivered a stunning rebuke” of the Supreme Court decision in favor of the group Citizens United, among the IRS’s first and biggest targets, according to the 77-page report released Monday by the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform and according to FOX NEWS.  

There it is, folks.  This goes way beyond an impeachable offense.  It goes to the very heart of what this country is all about.  Equality?  I don't think so.  

Congress needs to get off its collective fat rear ends and do something about it, or they are all going to be looking from the outside in when the November elections are over.    

WHY THE PRICE OF BEEF IS GOING UP

They've discovered the Meadow Jumping Mouse in Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado; they're now protected by the Endangered Species Act.  I suppose no resident of those three states can now legally own a cat and that mouse traps are being pulled from hardware store shelves?  The tiny mouse lives along streams and wet spots and is endangered by grazing.   The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is loading up with AR-15's and armored SUV's so they can protect the little mice from farmers and ranchers.  

IRAQ MAY FALL TO AL QAEDA

It looks like Al Qaeda is taking over control of Iraq and the 4,500 lives we lost there were all for naught.  My prediction is that Iraq will fall completely into Al Qaeda hands within a few days, a week at most; Pakistan will fall into the hands of the Taliban and then the terrorists will have…nuclear weapons.  Obama continues to play golf.  Businesses at the World Trade Center are getting nervous...

Maybe if we release some more prisoners from Guantanamo, that will help?  

Well, Obama came to the plate yesterday and made an announcement:  "All options are on the table."  Big whoopee; he's said that about North Korea, Iran and Syria and where did that get us?  Somebody needs to send him a truckload of red paint so he can draw yet another red line.

HAGEL FINGERS OBAMA

On Tuesday, the White House tried to deflect criticism over the Bergdahl - Taliban swap by saying that Defense Secretary Hagel signed off on it, as if it was HIS fault, not Obama's.  Yesterday, Hagel returned the favor in sworn testimony before a House Committee: “Mr. Chairman, I want to be clear on one fundamental point – I would never sign off on any decision that I did not feel was in the best interests of this country.  Nor would the president of the United States, who made the final decision with the full support of his national security team.”

Uh, oh.  The blame game didn't work, or did it?  Did Hagel now succeed in taking some heat off the President by saying the entire National Security Committee backed him?  Gosh, could they have been in the middle of a "vast left-wing conspiracy?"  Maybe we should ask Hillary about that possibility.   

I'll say one thing for that group of "intellectual" twerps: they certainly know how to piss off members of the military and American veterans.  You know, when I was in the military, I was told that if I were to be captured by the enemy, my country would do everything possible to rescue me; but, if I deserted or went AWOL, I was on my own. 

I would commit suicide before I allowed my country to exchange five terrorist war criminals for me, and that's a fact.    
 

CLUELESS IN WASHINGTON

"No, no, we're not to blame," insists the White House.  "Hagel did it."  That's correct, folks; the infamous Obama is shucking and ducking again; we just can't keep a great shucker and ducker down, can we?   

Okay, so by law, the Secretary of Defense is required to sign documents approving detainee transfers. Show me a Defense Secretary who would be willing to tell Obama to take a hike and I'll show you the fastest firing since the country was founded.  Show me a Secretary of Defense who would make such a decision without the tacit approval of the boss in the White House and I'll show you Harry Reid in drag. 

What a farce.  Those dumb-clucks have absolutely no clue.  

ADMINISTRATION DEMANDING V.A. WHITSTLE BLOWER NAMES

The Inspector General for Veteran's Affairs demanded that the Project on Government Oversight Committee turn over names of all whistle blowers who have "leaked" information regarding the disastrous care of American vets; a subpoena was issued May 30th.  The VA subpoena demands all records the nonpartisan, independent watchdog association has received from current or former VA employees pertaining to “wait times, access to care, and/or patient scheduling issues” at VA facilities in Phoenix or elsewhere. The group’s spokesman says it will not be complying with the order. 

The Administration has a well-established track record for marginalizing whistle blowers.  Obviously, it is important for them to shut the VA scandal down.  There is a number of Benghazi witness who want to tell their story and the Administration has thus far been able to keep them from doing so.  

When is America going to quit bellyaching to each other and start bellyaching to Congress?

ADMINISTRATION MAY FREE ANOTHER GITMO PRISONER

Hot on the heels of the release of five top-ranked Taliban terrorists from Guantanamo with virtually no enforceable restraints or conditions, and directly challenging the citizens of the United States to try and stop them, Administration officials are actively preparing to release yet another Gitmo resident, Fouzi Khalid Abdullah al-Awda.  He is charged with  traveling from his home in Kuwait to Afghanistan just before the 9/11 attacks to train in terrorist camps, and "possibly" fight alongside the Taliban and Al Qaeda.  He maintains he only went to Afghanistan for "humanitarian reasons to provide alms for the poor and to teach the Koran." 

WHAT IS WRONG WITH AMERICANS.  WHY ARE WE CAVING IN TO BELLIGERENT DICTATORSHIP?  HAVE WE TAKEN LEAVE OF OUR SENSES?  WHO ARE WE TO BLAME EXCEPT OURSELVES?

Let's see: Obama negotiated with the Taliban and we agreed to release five top-ranked terrorists from Guantanamo in exchange for one POW who is charged with desertion?  He allegedly deserted his post, left the base after posting his displeasure with the military and U.S. policy and was then captured by the Taliban?  

Well, I can see things clearly now.  We need to send Bergdahl back to the Taliban, keep the five terrorists where they are and... get rid of this dipshit we have in the White House who calls himself an American President.
