The Inspector General for Veteran's Affairs demanded that the Project on Government Oversight Committee turn over names of all whistle blowers who have "leaked" information regarding the disastrous care of American vets; a subpoena was issued May 30th. The VA subpoena demands all records the nonpartisan, independent
watchdog association has received from current or former VA employees pertaining to
“wait times, access to care, and/or patient scheduling issues” at VA
facilities in Phoenix or elsewhere. The group’s spokesman says it will not be complying with the order.
The Administration has a well-established track record for marginalizing whistle blowers. Obviously, it is important for them to shut the VA scandal down. There is a number of Benghazi witness who want to tell their story and the Administration has thus far been able to keep them from doing so.
When is America going to quit bellyaching to each other and start bellyaching to Congress?
