Like the slime that it is, wording oozing out yesterday was that Obama and his goons had deliberately and flagrantly skirted U.S. law by paying a $400 million in ransom to Iran for the release of four hostages last January. Since was against the law for the U.S. to pay any money to Iran, the administration went so far as to convert the funds to Swedish francs and Euro-dollars... an act that made it clear that they knew what they were doing was illegal. On the very same day... almost to the minute... that the unmarked cargo plane carrying the funds landed on Iranian soil, the prisoners were released.
Caught red-handed with its pants down, the White House immediately trotted out the State Department spin-doctor to vehemently deny that there was a quid-pro-pro or that the funds paid amounted to ransom. Of course, we know by now that when they vehemently deny something in this sham of an administration, it's a true fact. The Iranians are, to the contrary, dancing in the streets about their U.S. ransom money.
I wouldn't be surprised if the White House rolls out Susan Rice, Susan Powers, John Kerry and Hillary Clinton with a story about how the money was really to pay for a video tape of six Shiite kangaroos climbing Mt. Damavand.
