KING GEORGE III WAS NOT TO BLAME

King George III was on the British throne when the United States declared its independence.  He became known as the "Mad King," sometimes foaming at the mouth and writhing on the floor, (somewhat like Hillary Clinton did when Trump won the election).  Some thought he was affected by arsenic and some later theorists thought he had a metabolic disorder.

The most recent theory is that he suffered from a mental problem, such as manic depression or bipolar disorder.

So, he is no longer on the hook for being "just plain mean."  Therefore, I think it would make sense for the Democrats to insist that we forgive England and take back our Declaration of Independence.
