Mention the word "immigration" and every presidential candidate, Democrat or Republican, instantly goes into "shuck and duck" mode except... Ted Cruz and Donald Trump. So when Trump came out and started pounding his fist on the table and demanding that the country do something about our borders and illegal immigration from Mexico, all of those politicians except Cruz went into full and complete "dump on Trump" mode; as far as they are concerned, I guess, "immigration" is the unspeakable word of the day.
It's only a natural political reaction... they have to find a way to change the conversation. They're looking like the true schmucks they are, hollering that Trump is stealing the air out of the room and ruining their campaigns, while steadfastly refusing to deal with the really important issues of the day, the unspeakables. So, thank God for John McCain, the war hero, who has come forth on his gallant white steed to save the day. He set things straight from the git go by calling those who are gathering around Trump "crazies." Good for him; Trump is to blame.
Now, I guess, we don't have to talk about immigration any more and we can devote our time and energy to holding up John McCain in adulation. Aren't things just soooo peachy keen in the land of Oz?
