KATHY GRIFFIN IS AT IT AGAIN

Not that she's able to get any gigs anyway, Kathy Griffin, who is never one to accept responsibility for her extreme left-wing, anti-Trump bias, is now claiming she is afraid to go on tour because someone might shoot her.  You might remember that she's the one  who created and displayed that hanging ugly head of Trump with a bloody stub of a neck and proudly displayed it to the news media.  

The D-list celebrity insists it was Trump’s subsequent tweet that ruined her career. “The minute he tweeted that tweet about me, it was literally breaking news on every channel,” she recounted. “After that, I had to go offline because of the death threats.”  Yep, it was now Trump's fault, not hers. 

Perhaps the snot-nosed, self-pitying epitome of a Democrat should suck on a lemon during the New Year's celebration that she was canned from hosting.  

In the meanwhile... HAPPY NEW YEAR, FOLKS.  At least WE have our heads on straight.  

BLAME JESUS

If Jesus had not been born, this issue would never have occurred.  

A couple in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania decided a few days before Christmas to post a huge white sign with red lettering in front of their house which reads imply, "Jesus." 

Of course, somebody filed a complaint with the homeowners association, which promptly ordered the couple to take down the sign.  They refused.  “We feel that’s what Christmas is all about — Jesus’ birth,” Lynn Wivell said. “So we’re celebrating his birthday, and this is the way we decided to do it.”  Her husband Mark Wivell added: “We wanted to show at our house, that the real reason for Christmas is the birth of Jesus.”

The homeowners association is in an uproar, members pitted against members.  The peace and joy of the season is non-existent in Gettysburg.  

CLIVEN'S MERRY CHRISTMAS

It's a rare occasion when you read good news on this blog.  As it so happens, this news is exceptionally good for an eastern-Nevada rancher named Cliven Bundy. 

Back in 2014, Cliven had a run-in with the Bureau of Land Management, (BLM), that was reportedly at the behest of one Senator Harry Reid and his son.  The case originally stemmed from an armed confrontation that capped a decades long dispute over Cliven Bundy's refusal to pay grazing fees to the BLM for using its lands. The 71-year-old rancher says his family has grazed cattle for free for more than a century in the area and insists public land belongs to states, not the U.S. government.  

Over many years, the BLM kept piling on grazing fees, fines and interest and showed up one day with an armada of heavily armed agents who tried to seize Bundy's cattle.  That move turned into a standoff when armed sympathetic ranchers showed up on Bundy's land to defend him.  The BLM, not to be outdone, brought in tanks and helicopters.  Violence eventually ensued.  

During this period, it was determined that a Chinese firm was trying to start a solar farm on the land being used by Bundy for grazing, and that Reid's son was the attorney for the investors.  Millions of dollars were at stake.  

Bundy and his two sons eventually ended up in jail, charged with a litany of crimes.  The two sons were subsequently released, but Bundy remained behind bars and a trial started in Las Vegas last month.  In the interim, a whistle-blowing BLM employee came forth with information that the prosecutors had hidden evidence from the defense team about gross misconduct on the part of the BLM and FBI agents before, during and after the actual event itself and subsequent investigations.  That information was given to the jurors in the case and the Judge, openly upset with the misconduct, declared a mistrial.  Six men who acknowledged carrying assault-style weapons faced a trial and a retrial. In other related action, two were acquitted, two were convicted of some charges and two are free after pleading guilty to misdemeanors to avoid a third trial. None was found guilty of conspiracy. 

Merry Christmas to Cliven and his family.  Hopefully, some BLM agents will soon face charges for their Mafia-style actions.  

And, Merry Christmas to you as well.  

CALIFORNIA TO LOSE HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF JOBS

Governor Brown has signed legislation raising the California minimum wage for everyone to $15 an hour by 2023. 

Seattle saw dozens of restaurants and small businesses fold or move out of town when it enacted its $15 minimum wage law.  Other businesses have installed more robots, cut hours and benefits and have even laid off employees. 

MUELLER SAYS: "I'M NOT TO BLAME"

Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team has seized thousands of emails sent by members of Donald Trump's campaign and transition teams.  Trump's attorney's have lodged a complaint, because the emails were sent and received before the start of the Trump administration, and therefore required notice to and permission from the still-existing Trump transition team as agreed to by the GSA.  The tens of thousands of emails in question pertain to 13 senior Trump transition officials and even include totally private conversations regarding the selection of people to hold key positions in the Trump administration; such information would, of course, be highly confidential.  

On Saturday, Kory Langhofer, general counsel for the transition group, sent a letter to two congressional committees alleging that the GSA had improperly provided the transition records to Mueller's investigators.  Langhofer also said that a GSA official appointed by Trump in May had assured the transition in June that any request for records from Mueller's office would be referred to the transition's attorneys.  

Mueller's team has responded by saying that the Trump team used GSA offices and equipment during the transition and that information generated during the transition is therefore subject to review and audit at any time, evidently regardless of any agreements to the contrary.  Not only were the documents turned over by GSA to Mueller in September, but the White House did not learn of this until last week, so it was obviously done in secrecy and implies that Mueller knew he was in violation.

I would guess that Mueller and his team are eagerly looking forward to the day when they can set up a gallows on Pennsylvania Avenue and hang Trump in front of God and everybody by his family jewels.  Mueller would then supposedly be surrounded by Clinton-Obama minions and members of "the establishment," hoisted upon their shoulders and paraded around Washington in total awe and admiration.  

MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN?

The major complaint these days is that the way some women dress invites sexual interaction.  The argument is, how can a woman don a see-through dress and appear in public around men and then have the temerity to sound off when men react? 

The simple answer is to get back to the Victorian era when two-piece bathing suits were outlawed.  Skirts and dresses should go down to the ankles, see-through mesh-style blouses should be forbidden and going out while braless should land you in jail.  

Oh... and one other thing... Who's the idiot who gave women the right to vote, anyway?  We never had these problems before they got the right to vote.

THE BIGGEST HYPOCRITE OF ALL TIME

California's illustrious Governor Jerry "Moonbeam" Brown, the guy in charge of a state that just allowed the illegal-alien killer of Kate Steinle off the hook, the guy who just signed into law a bill that makes California a "sanctuary state" that harbors illegal alien criminals and defies Federal and Constitutional law, the guy who just raised gas taxes so he can build a bullet-train to nowhere that nobody wants, the guy who just signed legislation that makes it illegal for a school superintendent to allow selected holders of concealed-carry permits to carry guns on campuses just days before an attempted mass shooting at an elementary school in northern California... yeah, that guy... 



He now comes forth to the high pulpit of worldly propriety in his elitist, pioused way and proclaims:  Trump doesn't believe in God, doesn't fear the Lord... because he refuses to do anything about climate change. 

Give me a break.  

 

THE DAY HAS COME

America's press and media has become so unreliable and distrustful that it should no longer be protected by the Constitution.  If they print or otherwise disseminate demonstrably phony, false and malicious news... people need to go to jail.  

 

THE GAMES PEOPLE PLAY

It's been traditional for years that when new presidents take office, they clean house the day they take the oath of office, particularly when Democrats take over from a Republican administration.  Obama fired everybody within sight.  Trump, on the other hand, did not; either he didn't want to cut a bunch of employees out of their jobs, or he depended too much on the advice of some of the "establishment" idiots he put into upper-level positions.  When the Democrats woke up and realized that Hillary had lost the election even though "the fix was in,"  they scrambled like hell to find a way to scuttle the election results or at least to take Trump out of the presidency before he could get the Oval Office seat warm. 

By the time he got around to firing Comey, the Comey, Lynch, Obama, Clinton mafia had managed to establish a well-thought-out plan to stop Trump from accomplishing anything significant and they had solidified positions of spies and anti-Trump operatives within the new administration.  The entire establishment, Republicans included, joined forces to "dump Trump."  In this process, Sessions recused himself from anything to do with Russia and Mueller ended up in charge of offense with his Special Counsel goon squad. 

Mueller, it seems, was put in charge of getting something on Trump... anything... that they could use to file impeachment charges against him.  The game plan was, and still is, make the Republicans look like nitwits so that they'll lose their Congressional seats to the Dems in 2018.  With a Democrat-controlled House and Senate, and using the results of Mueller's "investigation,"  the move for Trump's impeachment and removal from office could be underway early in 2019 and nobody could stop it.  

Contrary to what the "establishment" would have us believe, Mueller was not and is not an "upstanding, fair and level-headed, impartial"  individual.  He didn't create an evenly balanced investigative team; he loaded his office up with  donors to the Democrat Party and the Clinton campaign.  And when he realized that one of his henchmen, Peter Strzok, was about to be exposed for what he really was, Mueller fired him and didn't bother to tell anyone.  

Well, the whole damned farce is now crumbling and about to be fully exposed for all of us to see. 

Blame Trump, I guess.  Blame us as well.  If Trump hadn't been elected, they reason, none of these shenanigans would have been necessary.  

HAVE WE ALL LOST OUR MINDS?

Hillary Clinton, as we all know in our hearts and minds, was guilty of the four Benghazi massacres and the lies and coverup that followed.  She sold power and favors left and right out of the Secretary of State's office in return for healthy contributions to the Clinton Foundation and to this day there has been no accounting as to what happened to the hundreds of millions of dollars that ended up in those coffers.  She used her private Email server to hide her communications regarding these transactions and "lost" over 30,000 of them when the facts started to ooze out.  And when it became known that she used multiple cellphones for the same reason, she had them all smashed with hammers.  

When it was learned that there were classified documents on her private Email server, she had her hard drive "bleached" to permanently erase everything on it.  She and the Obama administration, the FBI and NSA in particular, arranged to spy on top conservatives including members of the Trump campaign using a phony "dossier" as a pretext for lifting the lid of secrecy off of protected wiretaps.  It even appears that, using the offices of Debbie Wasserman Schultz and associated Pakistani computer technology hacks, she was able to find out what Members of Congress were doing.  Violating all kinds of national security laws and regulations, Clinton and her mafia sold 20% of our uranium to the Russians and pocketed another $149 million in the Clinton Foundation bank accounts.  

But you can't blame Hillary for anything.  She owned, and still does own it appears, the FBI, the DOJ, and the DOS;  all three of them are stonewalling inquiries from Congress and getting away with it.  

But put forth two iconic American generals, Petraeus and Flynn,  and they get crucified for the smallest of infractions.  

Where's our moral conscience in this country, anyway? 

FORGET THE DAMNED SANCTIONS

They're not working!  They never have worked!  

What are you waiting for?  Do you have it in your feeble minds that some female is going to come forward and accuse Kim Jong Un of sexual misconduct and he'll have to resign?  Or, are you waiting for him to fire off a missile at us? 

Do something, dammit, before it's too late!  

 

NANCY TELLS THE TRUTH

Yes, she said it and she meant it: Nancy Pelosi said that John Conyers is is an icon of the Democrat Party. 

Not only is he above and beyond reproach, she would have you believe, but the party looks up to him as being a standard bearer for what they epitomize and admire. That surely tells you everything you need to know about the Democrats, doesn't it?  They're a party of sleaze and disgust... period. 

The sad part of all of this is that the Republicans in Congress are not one damned bit better. 

They're all to blame for this nasty, irresponsible, holier-than-thou culture, and they're all in bed with the devil.  What a disgrace!

ABOUT THOSE BACKGROUND CHECKS...

There have been many cases where felonious shooters were found to have been able to obtain guns because they passed a background check and should not have.  It appears that the Justice Department under Loretta Lynch issued orders to the effect that only perpetrators who had committed crimes while crossing state lines could be included on the federal list of persons prohibited from buying or owning guns.  So, a whole lot of names were dropped from the list. 

And they want to blame us... law abiding citizens... for the resulting gun violence?  

Attorney General Jeff Sessions now wants to investigate the background check system and see how it can be improved.  I'm all for getting the names of those who are too much of a danger to society deemed onto the Federal list.  And, I'm all for making the program more effective and stronger.  I can't speak for the NRA, but I suspect they feel the same way. 

But, we have to be careful about this.  We have to be able to find an expeditious method for a person to have his/her name removed from the list if it got onto the list by mistake.  That's my only caveat. 

TRUMP THE OGRE VS. HILLARY AND KATHY

Both Hillary Clinton and Kathy Griffin are down in the dumps; it's going to be a totally rotten Thanksgiving for them because they are both unemployed... and it's Donald Trump's fault. 

In Hillary's case, she got outsmarted by her own scheming.  She trusted those dirty rotten Russians from the day she pressed the "reset" button with them, to the day she connived to sell them a bunch of our uranium and enrich her "foundation" coffers, to the deals which made with them to help her out in the 2016 presidential elections.  With their help and her newly-found millions socked away in that "foundation," she was absolutely certain she would win, but she evidently didn't buy off all of the right people. 

So, Hillary didn't win and now nobody wants anything to do with her.  Just mention her name in the top echelon of the Democrat Party and everyone in the room scrambles to crawl under the carpet.  

As for Kathy, her career in the comedy business was lackluster at best, so she decided to play a prank on Donald Trump and gain some notoriety in the process.  She made this phony Trump head depicting him as being beheaded and then trotted it out for the whole world to see, dripping blood and everything.   The public was repulsed, she said it was all meant to be a joke, venues started to cancel her appearances, she admitted it was a mistake and then said it was not a mistake and... well, the whole incident has morphed into being Trump's fault; he's the real asshole of the day.  That all being said, now she can't buy her way into a stage anywhere in the country and she's... penniless. 

Both Hillary and Kathy are peas of the same pod and would be quick to claim that no woman has ever suffered the trauma dumped down on them like the ruthless and cruel Trump crap has been. 


And so it is... The Donald is giving them both The Bird for Thanksgiving this year.  

Wah. 

DOGS DON'T BELONG OUTSIDE ON COLD, SNOWY NIGHTS

If I've heard it once, I've heard it a million times: "What in God's name has happened to our country?"  

Well, you're not going to like the answer, but in your heart you will know that I am correct.  What has happened is that we have not taken care of our country.  Like a crop, you can't just plant the seeds, walk away and expect them to grow and produce without coming back to water them, fertilize them, weed them, chase insects and predators away and keep them from getting diseases.  You have to work your tail off every day to protect them and nourish them.  

Frankly, we've treated our country like it really doesn't exist.  We're worse than dog owners who throw their dogs out into the back yard on cold and snowy nights. 

And we... we are the only ones who can make things better.  
 

WASHINGTON: SCURRILOUS SCUMBAGS

I cannot for the life of me fathom a Congress or a Department of the Justice who can look at the Clinton Mafia and say with a straight face, "There is insufficient evidence there to warrant a Special Counsel."  They then turn around and look at the Robert Mueller abuse of his position as he chases down a supposed Trump "collusion" claim without being able to produce one shred of evidence, and they simply shrug their shoulders.  I include Congress, Sessions and the media.  

The fix is in.  They have no intentions of ever cleaning up graft and corruption in Washington.  It's all a big sham.  

What's worse is that we seem to be sitting still for it.  

RED BLUFF SHOOTING: BLAME GOVERNOR BROWN?

Just a month ago, California's illustrious Governor "Moonbeam" Jerry Brown signed legislation that bans school superintendents from allowing designated concealed-carry-permit holders to carry their weapons on campus.  That means he created hundreds of more gun-free zones in the state... ripe hunting grounds for active shooters. 

Yesterday, a known felon... prohibited from buying, owning or possessing guns, went on a rampage in northern California near a Red Bluff elementary school.  Tehama County Assistant Sheriff Phil Johnston said the shooter was "randomly picking targets."  Four people were killed and ten injured including two elementary school students before the shooter was shot and killed by law enforcement; the shooter tried to gain access to locked classrooms.  The shooter's neighbors said he was a lunatic, shooting off hundreds of rounds in the days preceding the tragedy.  And the Governor issued a statement saying he was "saddened to hear about today's violence in Tehama County, which shockingly involved schoolchildren."

Okay, Mr. Know-it-All:  With all of these great laws you've been enacting to get control of guns... (1) How did he get access to guns, (2) how did he purchase ammo,  (3) how many people on the school campus were prepared to stop him before he started shooting kids, (4) since it's law enforcement's job to stop these shootings and that's your chief argument against private citizens owning guns, why was this guy able to create seven different crime scenes before he was stopped? 

Brilliant.  Just brilliant. 

NORTH KOREAN DISASTER

Back on November 1st, I reported on this blog that the tunnels leading into North Korea's underground test site had collapsed and that some 200 had died.  I also reported scientists were concerned that radiation could escape from that location and threaten Japan or even the U.S.  

Since then, we've heard nothing. 

Although North Korea adamantly denies that the collapse occurred at all, more and more news sources are carrying the story.  Joel Myers, the founder and chairman of AccuWeather, said this week's forecast could spread radiation and threaten nearby countries with contamination from North Korea's last test.  “As winds pick up out of the northwest over the next few days, it is possible that any radiation that leaks from the site [where the nuclear test took place] could be carried and dispersed across the Sea of Japan and even to the Japanese islands.” 

This reminds me of the enormous meltdown of nuclear reactors at Fukushima; radiation from that disaster actually did reach our west coast.  

Of course, we wouldn't be in this predicament at all if Bill Clinton had stopped North Korea's nuclear program way back in the beginning...  or if George W. Bush or Barack Insane Obama had done their jobs and put a stop to it. 

A CALL TO ARMS

When you take a moment and a deep breath to study the safety and security of our nation these days, you can't help but agree that we are a nation at risk.  We have terrorists, drug cartels and downright evil-doers in our midst.  At the same time, most of our police forces are shrinking due to being targets of BLM and other whacko groups while being subjected to regulations that are so strict as to prevent the cops from being able to do their jobs effectively. 

Then there's Antifa, that friendly "pro-American" group which would have you believe their chief goal is to prevent Nazism in this country when, in fact, quite the opposite is true.  They dress in black and mask their faces, because they are afraid to be seen and recognized for who they really are: fascist thugs.  While pointing at the NRA as being the ones to incite violence in the country, they're the ones who firebomb everything in sight and seek to destroy everything we stand for.  Moreover, the real problem with them is that the left secretly agrees with them and their objectives to destroy America.   Hence, the big left push at gun control.  

The very second you say anything against Antifa, you become a target.   The media says little about their activities or the destructive agendas of other domestic terrorists ; don't you wonder why?  

We Americans face danger both from within and from without.  In every shadow, behind every wall, in every nook and cranny... somebody lurks who wants to do us harm.  It's no longer the occasional attack on the streets, in our churches and schools... it's everywhere.  And there is only one person in your immediate vicinity who can protect you because, when violence begins it is almost always over before the cops even get the call.

This is truly what is meant by having a well-armed and organized militia.  I'm not advocating for strapping ten guns on your belt and heading out the door with a chip on your shoulder, but I am suggesting that when the bad guy pulls out his weapon, he should immediately be faced with three or four more aiming back at him.  It has come to that point: any man or woman of gun-bearing age who doesn't have one and know how to use it is inviting carnage.  

If you don't have and carry a gun, get one.  If you have one, carry it, wherever you go.  On the other hand, don't even think about putting one in your hands until you learn how and when to use it.  

Most people I know don't even suspect that I carry a gun.  I don't show it, I don't brag about it, I don't even discuss it.  It's nobody's business.  In all of my infinite lifetime, there have only been two times when I even reached back to put my hand on my gun; thank God, the situation was quickly defused and I did not have to pull it out and show it, or somebody would surely have been shot and I doubt it would have been me.  

Yes.  The time has come.  We have to quit yakking about it and start getting serious.  Don't be to blame... be prepared.  

LUDICROUS

By all accounts, the guy was a total nutcase.  He was dishonorably discharged from the Air Force for some really nasty behavior, which says a lot in and of itself because the Air Force rarely dishonorably discharges anybody.  As a result of his crimes while in the Air Force, he was supposed to be reported as a violent offender who should not have access to guns, but he wasn't.  

He beat on dogs, had a vile temper and was well known to police.  He scoped out the church a few days before his shooting rampage and have a family vengeance going.  Nevertheless, he also had a pile of ammo and guns and walked into the First Baptist Church on Sunday morning and let his vengeance turn the scene into a bloody, deadly mess.  Had the neighbor across the street not seen what was going on, the shooter could have gone on to other venues and shot dozens of more innocent people.  

All of the laws in the world were in place to prevent that massacre; yet, it happened. 

There are all of these demanding cries that we've got to do something!  Right now!  Confiscate everyone's guns!  And yet,  in the same breath, they tell us to keep calm, keep strong and get used to terrorism because... it's the new norm. 

SUTHERLAND SPRINGS

Imagine being in a church on a Sunday morning... or in any other building or event... a town meeting, a Kiwanis Club meeting, a high school basketball game... and in walks unannounced evil.

I can't imagine how those churchgoers in Sutherland Springs, Texas felt yesterday, all sitting there with Bibles in hand, joined in the worship of God.  As I write this, the horrible news is just breaking out and I don't even know anything about the shooter yet, except that he's dead.  Did he shoot himself or did the cops shoot him?  I don't know.

So, the first shot rings out.  Now, where do you think the cops were on an otherwise peaceful Sunday morning?  I have to think they were not out on the immediate street corner waiting for something to happen.  Some, maybe one, was at home with family on a day or shift off, maybe another had just gotten off shift and was at home in the bunk, maybe another was filling up his patrol car at a gas station... just how many cops does a town of 400 have on their entire force anyway?  They may not even have a police force; they may rely on a county sheriff for protection.  My initial research shows there is one highway patrolman living in the area and the Wilson County Sheriff's office in Floresville... 15 miles away; there are 6,500 people in Wilson County, so just how many do they have working as deputies?  

The shot rings out and pandemonium begins as the minutes tick by.   Bang! One dead.  Bang!  Two dead.  Screams.  No one but the shooter has a gun.  The first call to 911 hasn't even happened yet.  Bang!  One seriously injured.  Bang!  Another dead... someone finally fishes a cellphone out of his pocket.  Bang!  We're just now five or six seconds into this sickening scenario.  

What the timing was, I don't yet know, but it could have been 15 minutes before the first law enforcement showed up from Floresville, counting getting the dispatch to getting into a patrol car to traveling at 80 or 90 mph to the scene.  Whatever the timing was, the shooter had plenty of time to reload.  Bang!  Bang!  Bang! 

Sooner or later, this country has to come to grips with the sheer reality of the situation.  If there were 30 people in that church, at least two or three should have been carrying a concealed weapon and known how to use it.  If just one or two had... maybe lives would have been saved.  Maybe the minutes would not have gone so desperately by in an otherwise quite church interrupted only by bang... bang... bang.  

JUSTICE CLARENCE THOMAS HITS THE NAIL ON THE HEAD

Wednesday night on the Laura Ingraham Angle, Justice Thomas remarked that he just can't seem to find anything in America today over which citizens are united.  Nothing.  

I think he is absolutely correct and I suspect it is not by accident.  I think  this disunification of the patriotic American spirit started way back in the 2008 election season when Barack and Hillary had a top secret meeting in an obscure hotel room, shortly after which Hillary announced that she was dropping out of the race for the Democratic presidential nomination.  I think they both agreed that the country needed to move towards Marxism and the conversation went something like this: (1) The country won't stand for such a direction unless we first strip them of their core beliefs; (2) This process couldn't be accomplished over night... it would take several presidential terms; (3) Barack, being the established community organizer, should be the ideal person to put the pieces together necessary to pull the evolution off and should therefore be in charge of the first portion of the project; (4) Hillary would be the cleanup hitter; (5) Barack would therefore go first with eight years in office to put all of the components together, and he would name Hillary as Secretary of State to provide visibility and a power base for her run in 2016, and he would help set up a machine to ensure her win; and (6) After Hillary's election, Barack would continue to support their joint effort in the background by creating more disunity and dissatisfaction with the American status quo.  

All of that put together would be a sixteen-year strategy to turn our government upside down and install Marxism.  

If you accept that as a working premise, then all of the things that have happened to our country over the last eight years make sense... including their reactions to Trump's election.  Together, Obama and Clinton have totally usurped the power and will of the people and have successfully pitted every segment of our society against one another.  

And here we sit.  

 

NORTH KOREA: OH, SHIT!

For two months now, scientists have been warning North Korea's resident midget dictator that the tunnel into the side of the mountain used for testing nuclear weapons was in danger of collapse.  He ignored them.  The tunnel has now collapsed, killing an estimated 200 workers and possibly leaking a radioactive cloud into the surface and atmosphere.  

The structural integrity was evidently severely damaged when Kim Jong-un conducted his sixth underground nuclear test in September; it was the largest of all tests and North Korea claimed it to be a hydrogen bomb.  

Initial reaction here is glee, but that radiation could well be on the way to the west coast of the United States.  Some observers think this disaster may be worse than Chernobyl or Fukushima in terms of radioactive danger.  

EQUIFAX PROBLEMS SMELL LIKE A DEAD FISH

The news of that huge data breach against 145 million American credit files this summer appear to be only the tip of the iceberg.  It nowe comes out that their whole system had multiple breaches going back to late in 2016, that Equifax management was notified in December and that they did absolutely nothing about it until June.  During that time, just about anybody and everybody had access to the files and Equifax supposedly has no idea who could have used that access or how many times.  

The flaw was discovered on a web page that seemed to be a portal for employees, but anyone on the internet was able to access it and it contained multiple search boxes that allowed anyone to force the site to display the personal information of Equifax's customers. They didn't even need credentials to get to the search page! 

Why?  

Bear with me for a minute; this could be much bigger than we think.  It makes absolutely no sense that such a huge organization would knowingly subject itself to the risk involved by leaving the access portals open.  Any company in its right mind would close down all access until the vulnerabilities could be patched... to protect its clients and also to defend itself against lawsuits.  Logically, it must have been a conscious decision to leave the access open.   

Why?  

Could it have been an arrangement to allow the Clinton-Obama machine to obtain information to be used against their enemies?   I mean, now that they were out of office, their access to the use of government agencies to gather such evidence would be severely limited.

DEMOCRATS: NORTH KOREA MUST NUKE US FIRST

There's a movement on among Congressional Democrats to pass a bill preventing the President from exercising a preemptive strike against North Korea.  They're demanding that the President must first get permission from Congress to do so, and therefore cannot do anything until they actually attack us.   

Here's the likely scenario:  Reliable intelligence comes in that Kim Junk-un is going to nuke Los Angeles within the hour. The President calls Congress and requests permission to speak to a joint session and ask for permission for a preemptive strike.  Two hours later, Congress agrees to allow him to speak, but the President withdraws his request and instead asks for $100 billion to go and bury 3 million residents of Los Angeles County who have just been nuked. 

Democrats continue to have knee-jerk solutions to the nation's problems without thinking through to the results of their actions, don't they?

NEW CONGRESSIONAL INVESTIGATIONS AREN'T GOING ANYWHERE

For several years, a House committee investigated Fast & Furious, Benghazi, the IRS scandal and a litany of other "dastardly deeds" of Obama, Clinton, Holder, Lynch and Company.  Despite of all of the rhetoric, nothing ever came of any of it; they had secret meetings, promising speeches... and everything just faded off into oblivion.  They even went so far as to hold Eric Holder in contempt, but nothing ever happened over that either. 

If we think having the Republicans in control of Congress is going to make any difference, we're sadly mistaken.  Last year, several Members of the House wanted to look into the Clinton Foundation, the Russian connection, the Uranium One deal and Pay for Play, but they were shut down by House Leadership... the very same leadership still in charge today.  Let's face it: The only one with any balls these days is one Hillary Rodham Clinton. 


The House now says it wants to look into the FBI handling of the Clinton Emails and the Uranium One deal.  Fangs bared, they vow to get to the bottom of it.  Come on.  Get real.  To this very day, the State Department and the FBI are stonewalling and the Justice Department under such an "honest and pure" man as Jeff Sessions is not only refusing to do anything about it, but Sessions and his sidekick Rosenstein have successfully put in place a Robert Mueller plot to remove Trump from office.  As a matter of fact, Congress has asked Sessions to lift the gag order imposed on a secret FBI witness who is willing to testify to some really bad things and Sessions won't even acknowledge the request.   

So, the Republicans sit there, wringing their impotent hands while WE, the people, sit complacently by our TV sets complaining that the NFL is showing disrespect to our National Anthem.  The plain simple truth of the matter is that these new "investigations" are going nowhere and we are wasting more taxpayer money trying to put on a dog and pony show for an American public that really doesn't give a rat's ass.  

And I keep hollering and screaming about it, but nobody is listening. 

DEMOCRATS DOUBLE DOWN ON OBAMACARE

Chuck Schumer and the Democrats, (not the name of a rock band), have decided that you and I need to fork over more money to keep ObamaCare afloat.  They want to again subsidize the insurance companies with even more tax dollars, (record profits or not), and they expect you and me to willingly pay for it.  

What's worse is that many Republicans, those who have failed time and again to live up to their promises to scuttle ObamaCare, now seem willing to join the Democrats in their quest to shove it down our throats.  

Surely, for us to allow this to happen, we must admit we have turned ourselves into a nation of masochists. 

WAY OUT IN THE OZONE LAYER

It seems to be magnanimous news; these "new revelations" about the Russian-Clinton-American uranium story are bouncing around conservatives as if they were just discovered yesterday.  And the fact that the proceeds from these nefarious activities have ended up in the Clinton Foundation coffers while then Secretary of State Hillary allowed these things to happen is also suddenly "cropping up" as if we Americans didn't know about them at least a year or two ago.  My various blog postings going back several years are full of such "new revelations." 

Where has everybody been... out in the ozone layer? 

The fact that the mainstream  media went to huge efforts to cover these criminal activities up means that every single one of them and their reporters are just as guilty as the perpetrators themselves; they were part of the gang.  But, you also had high government officials, both in Congress and in the various agencies of the executive branch, who also actively participated in what was, and still is in some respects, organized crime. 

If you think this is all serious stuff, it is; but, it's all just the tip of the iceberg, and those of you who have not been vigilant, who have not been aware of what has been going on... well, you're guilty, too.  After all... it is our government and it is our job to know what is going on within it. 

MCCAIN DOESN'T BELIEVE IN AMERICA FIRST

One of the bastions of "the Washington establishment," Senator John McCain, came out strongly against Donald Trump's "America First" policy yesterday, insisting that our duty as a nation should be to the international community instead.  "To abandon the ideals we have advanced around the globe, to refuse the obligations of international leadership for the sake of some half-baked, spurious nationalism cooked up by people who would rather find scapegoats than solve problems," he said, "is as unpatriotic as an attachment to any other tired dogma of the past that Americans consigned to the ash heap of history." 

Anybody who knows anything about the realities of life knows that you can't take care of others unless and until you take care of yourself.  It's because of idiots like him that we have such a vast number of people in this country who are homeless, hungry, without adequate shelter and clothing and not receiving proper medical care while at the same time we send billions of dollars to overseas countries, many of which would just as soon spit on us as look at us.   

Condescending, elitist dinosaurs like him need to be removed from our government, regardless of political party.  That's the message we sent in November of 2016 and it needs to be hammered home again in November of 2018.  

They are to blame; not us. 

NFL TRIES TO DUCK THE BLAME

Just a little over a day after NFL's Roger Goodell said players "should" stand for the National Anthem, both CBS and the NFL Network declined to show the playing of the pre-game anthem at all during last Thursday's game between the Patriots and the Buccaneers.  

Just how slimy can the NFL get?  

 

FREEDOM OF THE PRESS IS NOT AN INVINCIBLE RIGHT

Don't like what we say or print?  Too bad, say the press and media: we have the right to freedom of the press.  There's nothing you can do about it.  Up yours.  

With any right granted by the Constitution comes a responsibility.  The right to bear arms, for example, does not mean that a known and convicted killer has the right to own a gun; he gave up that right when he abused it.  So it is that the press and the media, in exercising their rights to freedom of the press, have an obligation to use that freedom in a responsible way; if they don't, they lose the right.  

The press and the media have the responsibility to the American public not to become a propaganda arm of any political party because, if the politicians control the press, who can we trust to tell us the truth?  In virtually every case where a government has become an oppressor and has usurped freedoms of its citizens, the government has first controlled the press.  So, when the press and the media start telling untruths and hiding the facts in order to placate and advance a political interest, they lose their rights to freedom of the press.  

I believe it is time that we Americans put their feet to the fire.  If we can prove that they are owned and/or controlled by a political faction, printing or broadcasting untruths and covering up crimes or other misdeed, we should shut them down.  To hold otherwise is to say that someone can actually yell "Fire!" in a crowded theater and get away with it.

GEORGE SOROS BEHIND NFL ANTI-AMERICAN ACTIVITIES

BizPac Review is reporting that George Soros and the NFL Players Association are now joined at the hip.  The association "donated money to the Soros-funded Center for Community Change Action, a left-wing activist group that bankrolls anti-Trump protests." And, the association has financially supported at least two more left-wing, anti-Trump activist groups.  Not surprisingly, the players union has defended football players’ rights to disrespect the national anthem at NFL games.  

Soros has spent millions of dollars on his anti-American, pro-left-wing-liberal agendas, but this doesn't mean that such associations have to take the money and turns their backs on America.  And the fact that the NFL is not willing to stand up to these activities leaves a putrid, sick feeling in my stomach.  

Are we are being eaten alive by the enemy? 

THERE'S MORE TO STEPHEN PADDOCK THAN MEETS THE EYE

As you may have learned over the last day or two, there are a lot of things that go into long range shooting.  (1) How many grains of powder in the cartridge?  What kind of powder?  In other words, what will be the explosive power behind the bullet as it comes out of the barrel of the gun?  (2) How much does the bullet weigh, and what is its shape and metallic composition?  How much friction will it produce in the air, how fast will it slow down?  What are the aerodynamic characteristics of the bullet?  (3) What will be the effect of gravity on the path of the bullet over 100 feet, 100 yards, 200 yards, etc.?  (4) How fast is the wind blowing, and from what direction?  What effect will that have on the path of the bullet over similar distances?  (5) What is the relative humidity and how will the moisture content in the air affect the friction on the bullet?  (6) What is the movement of the target, how fast and what direction?  (7) What is the angle of the shot from level ground and how will that affect the above calculations?  

These things all change according to the type and manufacture of the weapon being used.   

I've heard it said that Paddock was a novice shooter with little or no military training.  Frankly, novice shooters don't know spit about the above considerations or how to make the appropriate calculations, let alone how to employ them in actual shooting conditions.  Someone told Paddock about all of these things.  Someone trained Paddock on how to make the calculations and that the barrel of rapidly fired automatic weapons would quickly get too hot to touch.  Someone had to put him through the paces of moving from one gun to another with smooth rapidity.  He had to have someone to talk with about the logistics of getting the weapons and ammo into the hotel suite.  He had to have some knowledge and experience in setting up a video surveillance system. 

Steve Paddock did not work alone. 

NANCY SINATRA: ALL MEMBERS OF NRA ARE MURDEROUS

Nancy Sinatra tweeted out that "murderous members of the NRA" should be executed by firing squad.  

Well, Nancy, your boots were made for walking, so why don't you take a hike; a very long hike, like to Venezuela, Iran or North Korea.  

Obviously, since she also despises Donald Trump, she now qualifies for dual membership in the Kathy Griffin Fan Club and the National Ninny Club. 

Just out of idle curiosity, how many mass killings or murders have been committed by members of the NRA, not that that matters one iota to her? 

Finally, have you noticed that every time one of these left-wing nutbags opens their mouth they prove how shallow their intellectual knowledge is?  

NFL & ESPN: THE ULTIMATE DISGRACES TO AMERICA

ESPN had decided it was never going to show the playing of our National Anthem before a game again; that way, they reasoned, they would be out of the controversy.  Well, naturally, I would respond that if you are not for America, you're against it.  However, after the Vegas Massacre, they decided to display some semblance of respect and go ahead and show the anthem portion of Monday's night's game.  How magnanimous of them.  

With stadium  flags at half-mast and America still in shock over Vegas, many NFL players still insisted on refusing to stand during that National Anthem.   Quite a few of the Chiefs went ahead and sang the National Anthem, but ended it with the words  "the Chiefs" instead of "the brave."  Of course, the NFL itself has steadfastly continued to refuse to abide by its own bylaws and discipline the cowardly bastards.  

I, on the other hand, happened to be sitting in a bar, and when the game came on the air, all TV's in the place were promptly turned off.  A few patrons even stopped drinking their Buds and switched to Coors. 

There are a lot of organizations around the country that are deciding right now not to have a Super Bowl Party this season, because they already know that nobody is going to show up.   Of course, the NFL is quick to blame you and me for our hypersensitive feelings.  

There's a huge, ugly battle going on in this country between the NFL and American patriotism.  Who do you think is going to win?

Until law enforcement, the courts and Congress start devoting more time and effort to taking away guns from criminals instead of targeting law-abiding citizens, this problem will not stop.

So, Tom Price resigned after getting caught flying a private jet at taxpayer expense to the tune of well over $500,000.  He surely should have resigned his holier-than-thou job.

Oh.  One other question: Now that Chief of Staff John Kelly must approve all top-level travel... if we can't trust these yokels to abide by travel regs and do what is right for the taxpayer, why are they in their jobs?

ORIGIN OF MODERN DAY JOURNALISM

An enormous species, the Uromys vika, has been discovered in the Solomon Islands.  It lives in trees and is able to open coconuts with its teeth.  

Scientists believe that this heretofore unknown species may be the forerunner of the modern day American press and media.  They have finally been able to classify the mammal as being a giant rat, otherwise referred to as vermin.  

RYAN IS A LIAR; MCCONNELL IS AN OBSTRUCTIONIST

House Speaker Paul Ryan is not fooling America when he crows that the House did its job on ObamaCare and the Senate failed.  The plain simple fact of the matter is that it took the vote of Vice President Pence to get that bill passed.  The ugly truth is that the House Republicans vastly outnumber the Democrats 240 to 194 and a properly construed health care repeal and replace bill should have easily passed. 

That's the key: The House bill sucked.  It's didn't repeal and replace ObamaCare, it just muddied the waters.  Ryan and his cohorts thought that by passing a bill, any bill, they could get off the hot seat and punt to the Senate.  Then, the Senate Republicans played the same damned game, coming up with poorly constructed legislation that did virtually nothing toward living up to their promise made to Americans to repeal and replace ObamaCare.  

Ryan knew in advance what the outcome would be.  There is every reason to believe that both he and Mitch McConnell conspired to torpedo any chances of the number one item on Trump's agenda getting passed into law. 

Any Member of Congress, Democrat or Republican, who doesn't make a move now to replace both of these "leaders" needs to be tossed out of office in 2018.  America simply can't take any more of these charades.  

CHANGING THE CHANNEL

A whole slew of Americans have grown disenchanted with FOX NEWS and have gone wandering off to NEWSMAX and THE BLAZE.  Most, however, are still feeling left out in the cold; they just want news, and not opinion.  

Now comes ONE AMERICAN NEWS, founded in 2013 and essentially confined to the Internet.  It recently hooked up with Channel 347 on Direct TV and is rapidly gaining in viewership.  It also offers 24/7 news, so viewers are not confined to certain hours of the day to get any news at all, even when opinionated. 

Wow, is that refreshing!  It could even be the final nail in the coffins for CNN and HEADLINE NEWS.  

FOX is desperately trying to turn the tide.  They're trying to move their left-wing slant back toward the right by reshuffling their lineup, moving HANNITY to the 9:oo PM Eastern time slot, moving THE FIVE back to the 5:00 PM slot and signing popular Laura Ingraham to the 7:00 PM slot.  Still, FOX has no single hour of 100% news, let alone 24/7, and it's still very opinionated.  

Blame Bush.  

WHY SHOULD CALIFORNIANS PAY TAXES?

One might argue that it is illegal to not pay your taxes. 

One might also argue that it is illegal to declare yourself to be a sanctuary state and refuse to follow the Federal laws.  

So, if the State of California can do illegal things and get away with it, why should we pay taxes? 

ANOTHER GREAT REPUBLICAN HEALTH CARE DEBACLE

Both the Republican House and the Republican Congress came up with totally unacceptable replacements for ObamaCare and both bills got defeated.  After promising to stay here and work until they got a good bill passed, Congress ducked out of their solemn obligations and took a month-long recess anyway.  When they got back home, they got lambasted by constituents who want some action.  

Well, they're now back at it again with yet another dog and pony show.  A new bill picking up support from Senators, the Cassidy-Graham plan, would:

• ·        Take the money being wasted on ObamaCare and redistribute it to the states for THEM to waste on ObamaCare      

• ·   Raise costs by 20% within a year and eliminate subsidies for consumers

• ·   Leave an estimated 15 million uninsured by 2018, and 32 million uninsured by 2027

• ·   Cut Medicaid deeply over the next few years

As dumb as they look, they must certainly know that this is not going to fly either.  It obviously is a ploy to make Americans THINK Republicans in Congress tried to do something, but these devoted members of the establishment have no intention of ever allowing Donald Trump to win anything of significance on his agenda.   
  
Remember them come November of 2018.  

THE REAL ANSWER TO KIM JONG UN....

FIRE MNUCHIN

Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin requested a U.S. military aircraft to take him and his new wife on a honeymoon trip to Europe.  When confronted, the story was that he needed secure communications while on that trip.  Well, that certainly makes sense to me; what concerns me is that he didn't go on to say something like, "So I'm paying for the aircraft."  

Yeah, it appears to be a thinly-veiled excuse to get the government to pay for a honeymoon, doesn't it?   Well, after the request came to light and the stink started to percolate, they found some other way to give Mnuchin secure communications and he didn't need the military aircraft.  

This is exactly the bullshit that we Americans are sick and tired of, and why we elected Trump in the first place.  Here you have the Secretary of the Treasury, the guy in charge of all our federal dollars, out there using our federal dollars for his own personal gain.   Not only is it against the law, it's corrupt and unethical.  In short, he's a would-be thief. 

I actually like the guy and the job he seems to be doing and it pains me to say this:  Either Trump must fire the bum... or Trump must admit that he, himself, is part of the swamp that needs to be drained. 

Let's stop this flagrant abuse of the citizen peasants.

Dozens of abandoned dogs have been found in Florida, chained by their owners to trees. 

Surely, anyone knows that those poor dogs have been sentenced to death by drowning, with not even the slightest chance of escape from their certain fate.  

Why didn't their heartless owners at least have the  humanity in them to pull out their guns and shoot them?  

The next words that come to mind are: "Does anybody want to buy some fetus body parts?" 

Just how sick can we get? 

CONGRESSIONAL REPUBLICANS PROVE THEMSELVES TO BE IRRELEVANT

And Trump has made that abundantly clear.  

They'd better get their acts in gear or they're going to be on the outside looking in come November of 2018.  

The only way to make themselves relevant and to avoid a debacle that is most surely to come, is to start listening to and standing up for the American people.  

Otherwise, they'll have nobody to blame but themselves.

Right after returning from a very long vacation and leaving the budget, tax reform, healthcare, the debt ceiling and other things behind, Congress now has the unmitigated gall to say they probably won't have time to deal with everything that has to be dealt with this year.  
 

DEAL WITH NORTH KOREA BEFORE IT'S TOO DAMNED LATE

North Korea has evidently conducted a test of a a hydrogen bomb; at least, they say so and our government seems to be accepting it.  

Just step back and take a look at what the North Korean midget has managed to accomplish in just the past few years: (1) test and start a stockpile of what is estimated to be 60 nukes; (2) test and start a stockpile of ICBMs; (3) launch at least two military satellites into space; (4) miniaturize at least one of those nukes so it can be placed on an ICBM and reach far into the United States; and (5) develop and test a hydrogen bomb.  

What's more ominous is that China appears to have been the source for many, if not all, of the materials necessary to put all of this together.  And, it's all come while China says it will get the runt to back off while they turn at least a blind eye to the progress being made.  It makes you wonder Kim Jong Un is a runt... or actually a grunt for the Chinese regime. 

And, who is dumb enough to think that the midget won't sell this technology to Iran, Syria or even ISIS?  After all, with all of this economic pressure we are putting on North Korea, they have every incentive to get money by any means necessary. 

I've said over and over again in my blogs that it'll be a cold day in hell before China stops supporting the North Korean despot.  The prima facie evidence for this is that trade between China and North Korea has actually gone up by leaps and bounds while the Chinese profess to be joining the international community in economic sanctions against their grunt.  

Consider this statement: With all of the pieces put in place, what is the midget going to do with all of this capability?  Is he going to sit on it, use it, sell it... or all of these?  

My guess is that Kim is figuring we won't dare strike; China has said they will not back North Korea unless we strike first.  So, the despotic kid figures he already has us looking down the wrong end of a barrel.  

We've simply got to stop playing along with this song-and-dance routine and stop the damned music before it's too late.  If we don't, we'll have nobody to blame but ourselves.  

DESTINED TO FAIL

There's a five-year-old boy who decided to help people in Texas by opening a lemonade stand and donating the income to those in need.  Texans.  As of yesterday, he'd raised $400.  

Of course, you know that the liberals, the left-wing media and the holier-than-thou bureaucrats are not going to allow this good news to stand.  So, you have to ask: (1) Does he have a business license? (2) Does he have a health permit? (3) Does he have a sales tax number? (4) Is he withholding the required amount from his revenues to pay his taxes with? (5) Is he in compliance with child labor laws?  (6) Is the home where he's manufacturing the lemonade zoned accordingly?  (7) Is he a racist?  

KATHY GRIFFIN GOES TOTALLY AROUND THE BEND

Kathy Griffin has retracted any and all apologies she made for publicly displaying a severed head representing Donald Trump.  As a matter of fact, she now blames you for it.  

Griffin abruptly canceled a years-long friendship with Anderson Cooper last week, because he came out against her outrageous stunt.  Now, she says the outrage is your fault.  

When doing an interview in Australia recently, she was asked if the stunt wasn't tasteless.  Griffin exploded: “You’re full of crap!  

“I am no longer sorry. The whole outrage was B.S.,” she insisted.  "The whole thing got so blown out of proportion.”  She then when on to whine about the unfairness of it all.  “I lost everybody. I had Chelsea Clinton tweeting against me. I had friends, like Debra Messing from ‘Will and Grace,’ tweeting against me.”  

This poor, sad excuse for a human being belongs in a mental ward... in Venezuela.  

RELIGION IS NO LONGER ACCEPTABLE IN AMERICA

The San Domenico Catholic School in San Anselmo, California has removed several religious statues, including one of Mary and baby Jesus, because they "might offend" prospective students.  

Further comment on my part is not necessary.

The removal of all confederate statues in the country will bring an abrupt end to racial hatred and bigotry.

IS AMERICAN FREEDOM ITSELF ABOUT TO BE ECLIPSED?

I had intended to quit posting to this blog except for when exigent circumstances demanded it, and I still feel that way.  So, recent events have nagged at me to come forth with my recent posts.  

The state of the nation is ugly, and it's getting worse every day... almost by the hour.  The anti-American left-wing media of this country, (and that includes almost every newspaper, cable and broadcast network in the nation), not only dishonors those of us who voted for Trump but... the jackals of "journalism" are literally fanning the flames of revolution and anarchy.  What's worse is that few responsible voices are coming out against it.  

The day is fast approaching, my friends... I mean, we're at the very precipice right now... when we're going to have no choice but to defend our country, perhaps with our very own lives.  All of the radical, fascist forces are already in motion against us; yet, the silence from those who love our country is deafening.  

THE BLAME FOR RACISM IN THIS COUNTRY BELONGS SOLELY ON THE DEMOCRATS

Who voted to end slavery in this country?  It wasn't the Democrats. 

Who was willing to secede from the union and go to war in order to defend the right to own slaves in the country?  It was NOT the Republicans. 

Who now has their thumbs down on the Blacks of this country, trying to thwart their education and keep them among the ranks of the poor so that they can be controlled?  It's NOT the Republicans. 

Which President in recent history has fanned the flames of racism?  It wasn't Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Carter, Reagan, Bush 1, Clinton, Bush 2 and it's not Trump; it was Obama, the Democrat.  

Before you start another Civil War over this issue, get your damned facts straight.  

FOX NEWS NEEDS TO RETHINK ITS MARKET BASE

In recent months, since the Murdoch boys took over direct control of day-to-day affairs and editorial policy at FOX NEWS, it has been losing market share... probably due to its evident shift to the left.  It can no longer be referred to as "fair and balanced"  and in the past week has positioned itself against President Trump.  

I'll be very grateful when Breitbart starts up its new news channel.

So, Trump didn't come out and said it exactly verbatim the way every idiot in the country wanted him to say it.  So, he didn't mention this group or that group the first time he said it; he was too general, didn't have emphasis on the right syllable and didn't pound his fist on the table when he said it.  

Obviously, you too would much prefer that Hillary had won.  Wouldn't things be so much better for you?  

So, let's impeach him, tar and feather him, stone him and toss his body on an ant pile. 
  Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.
