Obama came out Tuesday and scolded the Republican-controlled Senate, in essence telling them that they had better hold hearings and confirm his nomination, whoever it is, to the Supreme Court Bench. Although the Republicans have been insisting they will not hold any hearings on an Obama nominee, several prominent Senators came out within an hour or two of Obama's diatribe and said that they just might hold hearings on Obama's nominee after all.
Ron Johnson, Thom Tillis and Rand Paul are three who are now advocating for going ahead and holding hearings.
I was asked on BURNEY MOUNTAIN HERMIT if I thought the GOP would stop Obama from successfully naming a nominee to the Court and I answered that the whole thing is a dog and "phony" show and Obama is going to get what he wants. I mean... that's been the history of the GOP for the last seven years; they make a lot of noise and then cave in like the weasels they are.
Look for more of the same; we're already screwed.
