LEFT WING SHINES AT OSCARS

No, I'm not going to dwell on the endless political bull that stunk up the whole night.  What's even more interesting is how sloppy they were in putting together an event that is suppose to put the best, most positive spotlight on Hollywood.  

Take, for example, their magnanimous tribute to celebrities who passed away in 2016.  There was one problem in that segment: Four-time Oscar-nominated Australian costume designer Janet Patterson, who passed away in October, was mixed up with film producer Jan Chapman. Chapman’s picture was shown next to Patterson’s name and title.  “I am alive and well and an active producer,” Chapman says.  

Outside the venue, the lack of adequate security was in glaring display.  A female Trump supporter was physically attacked by another woman after her sign was grabbed and torn.  The victim attempted to swing back, but was held by a third person while the original attacker pummeled away at the victim.  

Then there was the now infamous mistake of the century:  Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway announced the winner of the Best Picture Award as being La La Land.  While acceptance speeches began, the mix-up became clear and the true victor, Moonlight, was embarrassingly announced.  

Well, you know the rest of the story:  The event planners are blaming anybody and everybody who walks for all of the calamities, which proves yet again that left-wing liberals are totally incapable of accepting responsibility for their own actions.  

Let's give them an "I Participated" plaque!  

 

WHAT IN HELL DID BILL CLINTON FUND?

The University of Management and Technology in Rosslyn, Va., which opened in 1998, touts a campus in Beijing and “partnerships” with universities around the world, according to a special FOX NEWS report.  Based just four miles from the Pentagon in northern Virginia, the U.S. taxpayer-funded school has been at the center of multiple federal probes about its leadership's alleged ties to the Chinese military and whether thousands of records from U.S. service members were compromised. 

Regardless of those probes and an FBI raid or two, UMT has continued to collect more than $6 million from Defense Department tuition assistance programs as well as the Department of Veterans Affairs through the post-9/11 GI bill.  The school claims to have had 5,000 graduates in the last five years and to be "especially proud of our students stationed in US military bases around the globe."  

We are all aware of allegations that Hillary accepted large donations to the Clinton Foundation from various foreign governments including the Republic of China.  Given the circumstances of this report, one has to wonder how many of those "graduates" turned out to be Chinese spies infiltrating our military bases. 


Who do you blame?  Clinton, whose administration allowed initial funding for this program; Bush who allowed it to continue; or Obama who certainly must have covered it up?  

DID OBAMA TRY TO HACK INDIANA, GEORGIA ELECTIONS?

The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group is reporting it has discovered information showing that the Department of Homeland Security tried numerous times to hack the state election computer systems in Indiana and Georgia while Obama was president.  It tried at least 14,800 scans of Indiana's systems in November and December alone; Indiana then traced the attempts to a DHS computer. 

Since federal law prohibits DHS from trying to hack into any State computer without that State's approval, why would they be trying it? 

Trump won Georgia with a slim 50.4% of the popular vote and Indiana at 56.5%. 

Were attempts made on other states and if so, were any successful?  And if successful, were vote tallies altered? 

No wonder Democrats are so adamantly against an investigation!  

COP KILLER

California has a crazy law that says prisoners must be released if prisons get overcrowded because that's inhumane.   On Monday of this week, a known gang member who had just been released from prison long before his term was up, shot and killed a cop in Whittier...  a cop who was responding to an accident call and might very well have had to save the murderous thug's life.  

Now, just analyze this story and you'll instantly know who is to blame. 
 

STANDING ROCK: WE'RE TO BLAME

I've been asked countless times about my opinion of the Standing Rock Sioux standoff over the Dakota Access Pipeline, (DAPL).  My answer has been consistently the same: I'm in favor of the pipeline, but I'm totally against running it through sacred Indian lands or through an area where a rupture could destroy anybody's access to water.  I'm also certain that if the pipeline were to go through a cemetery in Fargo or laterally down the Missouri River, it would never happen.  

So, I cheered the decision by the Army Corps of Engineers to delay its construction and I supported the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and its allies in their efforts to move it or stop it.  That having been said, I was glad to see Trump's decision to give the go ahead to both the Keystone XL and the DAPL.  But, I presumed that the Trump administration would see it the way I and many others do and condition the completion of the DAPL on rerouting.  

But, that evidently isn't the way it came down. 

Now, hundreds of protesters have been ordered to leave their encampments by today.  This is likely going to lead to an ugly showdown and we're to blame.  

The fact is, we have been conditioned to think of Native Americans as being "dumb Indians" and somehow as being sub-human.  So, what does it matter to us if we threaten their water or ruin their sacred sites?  

Well, my friends, just remember two words: "Bad Karma." 

Do what's right.  Stand up and stand with the Standing Rock Sioux.  Let's get the pipeline completed, but lets have the contractors spend a few extra bucks to move it a few miles so we can all sleep at night. 

YES, THE MEDIA IS THE ENEMY

After President Trump lambasted the media several times in recent days, even calling it "the enemy of the American people," calls of "FOWL" could be heard not only across the so-called journalistic spectrum, but among Democrats and Republicans as well.  Republican Senator John McCain even had the unmitigated gall to pull an Obama stunt: go to a foreign country and start criticizing America.  He sternly warned that a free press is the bastion of American democracy.   

Historically speaking, that used to be the case; we depended on our free press for getting at the news and relaying it to us honestly, completely and objectively.  With few exceptions, however, they have become a political entity in and of themselves, working in tandem with those who would see our national values and beliefs destroyed with their own propriety and responsibility being damned. 

To the press and the media: When you see yourselves under attack from a growing number of Americans, when your own popularity is lower in the basement than that of Congress, and when those who you so blindly admire have just lost in the biggest national political upset in modern history... isn't it time to perform a little self-introspection?  Shouldn't you have the maturity to look inside yourselves and ask whether or not you are really at blame?  

I JUST GOT FIRED AND I'M NOT TO BLAME!

Down there in good old Catoosa, Oklahoma, 12 Hispanic restaurant workers just got fired.  It seems they decided, (without warning), to take a day off in support of the "Day Without Immigrants" movement.  The owner of the "I Don't Care Bar and Grill" suddenly found himself in the proverbial pickle; he didn't have enough employees to take care of business. 

Now, they're all whining.  “(They’re) upset they stood for something they felt was necessary so the community would stand together, and they got terminated for that,” a friend said. 

I mean, after all...  You should have the right to walk off a job at any time, without any notice, for political reasons and not get fired, right?  
 

MEDIA IN UNJUSTIFIED HISSY FIT

Trump has allowed brief questions during press conferences held during state visits from leaders of other countries.  During the open question periods, he seems to have avoided selecting questions from the mainstream media, which is totally understandable; they've been spinning, fabricating and otherwise outrageously distorting the reality of the news to fit their own liberal-left agendas.  When Trump says something, they are famous for taking what he says out of context and using it against him.  

Frankly, if I were Trump, I wouldn't even let most of those scoundrels into the White House Press Corps.  

With that little bit of history, you can understand why I have to laugh when they get their bowels in an uproar because Trump doesn't pick them to ask questions.  They have more gall than Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters combined.  

They've morphed from being responsible, informative journalists into being totally useless toads.  

SUPPORT TRUMP? FEAR FOR YOUR LIFE!

71-year-old Kathleen Staunton, a staffer for California Republican Representative Dana Rohrabacher, was on her way out of her Huntington Beach office when she was accosted by anti-Trump protesters and knocked to the ground where she hit her head and was then rushed to the hospital... unconscious.   Protesters are trying to play it off as an accident.    

We all know of people who have been beaten because they were wearing a Trump cap or had a Trump bumper sticker on their car.  

When will the first murder happen? 

You need to buy a gun and learn how to use it, because things are very scary in this country right now. 

FIRST BLOOD

The abrupt departure of General Michael Flynn from the Trump administration Monday night was the first casualty in what is certainly going to be a tumultuous four years.  Flynn had been highly regarded by Trump during and immediately after the campaign.  

Allegedly, Flynn either compromised or could have compromised national security when he had a private conversation about Obama's sanctions against Russia before the inauguration.  While I think that is simple poppycock, that the story had been embellished by the national media and Democrat operatives, I do have a problem with how it all came down.  

When the story first leaked, Flynn told Vice President Pence that it was not true, that he had indeed not had conversations about sanctions with the Russian ambassador.   With that, Pence went public in support of Flynn.  What the source of the ensuing information is, I am not certain; some think it was the National Security Agency.  But, someone came forth with factual information on the telephone call to show that Flynn had indeed discussed sanctions with the Russian ambassador. 

Therein lies the first rule of executive leadership: If you make a mistake, don't try to lie your way out of it; admit it, apologize for it, suffer the consequences and move on.  Flynn, being the National Security Advisor to Trump, had a high level of responsibility to be candid and truthful.  The coverup was far more of a sin than the discussion of sanctions. 

I'd like to be able to say that Flynn was a victim of foul play and that a Democrat Party "mole" within the Trump Administration was actually to blame for Flynn's firing; while that may have been the case, Flynn in reality fired himself. 

OROVILLE DAM CALAMITY WAS PREVENTABLE

Oroville Dam in northern California has come perilously close to at least a partial breach as the lake rapidly filled with water from its watershed inputs as a result of recent heavy warm rains on top of a huge snow pack.  Over 188,000 people were evacuated from the city of Oroville and points downstream Sunday afternoon as holes in the two spillways from the dam threatened to eat back toward the face of the dam structure.  

The earthen dam was completed in 1968 to contain waters from the frequently flooded Feather River and to generate electricity; at 700 feet, it is the tallest dam of its kind in the United States.  Both a primary and an emergency spillway were included in the dam construction.  The flow from primary spillway can be controlled, while the flow from the higher emergency spillway cannot; when the water reaches a certain depth, it automatically starts to flow over the concrete lip of the spillway.  The primary spillway was lined with concrete while the emergency spillway was not.  

The dam itself must meet regular inspections for safety.  Twelve years ago, three concerned environmental groups, (the Friends of the River, the Sierra Club and the South Yuba Citizens League ), filed a motion with the federal government as part of Oroville Dam’s relicensing process, urging federal officials to require that the dam’s emergency spillway be armored with concrete, rather than remain as an earthen hillside.   The state Department of Water Resources, and the water agencies that would likely have had to pay the bill for the upgrades, said that contrary to fears, such upgrades were unnecessary and the dam was subsequently relicensed by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

With water flowing into the dam at an alarming rate and much faster than what was being released through the electrical generation process, dam officials decided they should release some water through the primary spillway.  It is questionable as to whether that decision was reached soon enough.  Moreover, it readily became apparent that the concrete liner was deficient and damaged as a gaping hole appeared approximately one-third of the way down the spillway.  So, they shut the water release off while saying there was no reason for concern. 

Nevertheless, just a couple of days later and without any repairs or mitigation of the hole, they once again started releasing water, which signifies that they were in bigger troubles than they willing to admit.  The release was not enough to overcome the tremendous amount of water runoff coming into the dam, and the water level rose to the point of going over the emergency spillway.  That water quickly ate a hole of its own in the bare earth, close to the top of the spillway... close enough that the resulting erosion threatened to strip the concrete off the spillway lip and cause a huge rupture which could have released at least a 30 foot wall of water from the dam... and potentially much, much more.  

That's when the evacuations started. 

As for the dam officials, when questioned about the decision not to line the emergency spillway 12 years ago... well, you know the answer: "Don't blame us, we weren't here in those days and we're much too busy handling the current situation to stop and talk about it."  

IMPEACH 9TH CIRCUIT COURT PANEL JUDGES

There's been some discussion lately about splitting the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals into two courts; the justifiable response has been that such a move would simply create two renegade courts and I agree with that thinking.  

The role of Judges is not to make law, but to apply it.    They're supposed to weigh the evidence and facts in a legal matter and then apply existing statutory and case law to reach a decision.  Just because they sit on an elevated bench does not mean they are gods or that they can make up their own rules as they go along.  

But, what do we do when they consistently violate judicial principles, such as in the case of the three-Judge panel ruling on Trump's temporary immigration halt?  The founders of this country provided a remedy: it's called "impeachment."  Their intent for impeachment was to protect the fundamental principle of “the consent of the governed.” The Constitution carries no other title than “We the People,” and impeachment removes from office those officials who ignore that standard. (The Constitution does not guarantee a federal judge his position for life, but only for the duration of “good behavior.” Art. III, Sec. 1) 

These Judges have proven beyond any reasonable doubt that they have allowed the politics of the day to interfere with due and just application of the law.  They're to blame for this mess, and the proper remedy is for them to be disgraced, removed from office and replaced with Judges who understand judicial ethics and rules.  

IF YOU CAN'T HURT TRUMP, HURT HIS FAMILY

Trump seems to be undaunted by the relentless assault from the left, an assault overtly made in the attempt to slow down or stop his agenda.  

So, now they're going after his family.  Nordstrom and Neiman-Marcus are dropping Ivanka Trump's line of clothing and Macy's may follow suit.  Nordstrom is claiming that sales of her items are no longer profitable.  All three seem to be bowing to left-wing demagoguery demanding that they drop Ivanka's clothing.

If sales at these stores are dropping, and they indeed have been the three major outlets for her outfits, then why has her company been showing increasing profits?   

Just askin'...

THE REAL PROBLEM WITH JEFF SESSIONS

Jeff Sessions has been confirmed as Attorney General of the United States.  But Elizabeth Warren and other Democrats pulled out all of the stops in a failed attempt to derail the nomination.  In fact, Warren had to be told to shut up and sit down.  

Why all of the vitriolic rhetoric against Sessions?  Well, as we all know, it was the Democrat Party that was so steadfastly against freeing the slaves and they've recently been reminded of that fact by various Republicans responding to Democrat cries of racism.  Given that history, one must also be reminded that it was Jeff Sessions who was responsible for desegregation of schools in Alabama.  

So, there it is in a nutshell.  Now you know what the real problem is between Sessions and the Democrats and who is really to blame.  

OUT OF TOUCH WITH REALITY

Nancy Pelosi has proven that the Democrats smoke too much ozone... or something.  "While it's only been a couple of weeks since the inauguration, we've seen nothing that I can work with President Bush on," Pelosi said during a Monday press conference.  

None of her Democrat lackeys gathered around her at the time bothered to correct her, so we have to assume that they also think Bush is President.  

No wonder no one's listening to them anymore. 

A WHITE HOUSE FULL OF ENEMIES?

It's not just the White House, it's virtually every agency of our federal government; they're all permeated with radical left-wing liberals who are bound and determined to undermine the presidency of Donald J. Trump... or any other conservative who might get elected to that job.  But, the White House theoretically runs the Executive Branch show, so the government bureaucrats who work there have tremendous influence over everyone else in government. 

They all enjoy the benefits of being in the Civil Service and being members of a union, so disciplining them or routing them out is easier said than done.  The vitriol being churned up by Democrats as a whole puts them in the position of having to do everything they can to make Trump look bad or to face holy hell from their friends and party dictators.  

And so it is that they managed to fumble the ball with the roll out of the temporary ban on immigrants from Middle Eastern countries.  So it is that selective leaks are coming out of the White House and directly onto the front pages of the liberal press and media...leaks designed to make Trump look bad and leaks that are often distorted and even untrue.  

The people making these "leaks" are not Americans; they are anti-American Democrats and progressives who want to see our Constitution  trashed and our liberties reduced or eliminated.  Why?  Because only through the accomplishment of these objectives can they achieve absolute power over the rest of the country.  

That's about as anti-American as you can get.  

We're to blame for allowing this situation to happen.  Government employees are our servants and as such, they should be prohibited from engaging in partisan politics.  When you allow those things to happen, you end up with an IRS like we had under Obama, and so forth. 

It's time we put an end to it.

DEMOCRATS SHOULD BE CENSURED

Just about every Board of Directors of every business or organization has rules of conduct; violate the rules and you become persona non grata... and usually kicked out.  Usually, if you undertake actions which may bring discredit on the business or organization, such actions are grounds for loss of your seat on the board.  

Congress, it seems, has no such rules of decorum.  Oh, they have Codes of Ethics and House or Senate Rules, but there's nothing that requires Members to attend a certain number of hearings  or participate in a certain percentage of votes.  Likewise, there's nothing to prevent vitriolic speech. 

There are, however, provisions for Members of Congress to be censured or even expelled under certain circumstances.   It's rarely been done, but such provisions do exist.  

Democrats are definitely to blame for bringing discredit to The Hill.  Their behavior in obstructing the business of the Senate is beyond the pale.  Their refusal to attend committee hearings on Cabinet Members in order to try and prevent a vote from occurring is simple mutiny and an outright attempt to force their minority will upon the majority.  

We, the American people, have the inherent right in our form of government to demand that the offenders be rebuffed and rebuked.  They are to blame for bringing our democratic processes to a grinding halt.  By refusing to participate in committee votes, they are disenfranchising their constituents of their rights to participate through the representative structure in the running of governmental affairs.  

Censure the offending, offensive Democrats.

CALIFORNIA ILLEGALS HAVE A RIGHT TO RAPE, KILL AND PLUNDER

The California State legislature has a bill on the fast-track that would make the entire state into a "sanctuary state."  California Senate Bill 54 aims to protect all illegal aliens, even those who commit crimes, from being deported as is required under U.S. federal law.  Under the proposed new law, local police could not call federal authorities to report even violent criminal illegals.  

This means that the savage illegal Mexican who shot down a totally innocent Kate Steinle on a San Francisco wharf could totally avoid punishment. 

My friends, it's not I.S.I.S. we have to fear; our enemy is already among us and we don't get it.  
 

DEMOCRATS WANT TERRORISM

The Democrats are doing everything possible to sabotage President Trump's efforts to get a handle on immigration to the U.S. from Middle Eastern countries.  Therefore, it is a foregone conclusion that they support the influx of terrorists into the country. 

Now, we know who to blame for the next terrorist act in the country.  

MCCAIN, GRAHAM MAY BOLT REPUBLICAN PARTY

John McCain have consistently taken positions against anything and virtually everything Trump advocates.  They both actively did everything possible to undermine Trump after he secured the Republican nomination and started his run against Clinton.  Now, they've done it again.  

Both Republican Senators, who have lost previous bids for the presidency on their own,  have come out adamantly opposed to Trump's new temporary halt of travelers coming from the Middle East.  It's as if they're trying to impose their own failed platforms on the guy who actually did win the presidency. 

It is obvious to every onlooker in the country that both of them are going to face very tough reelection campaigns; we citizens are sick and tired of self-serving political bickering.  They've both made such arrogant asses of themselves that they would easily qualify to be left-wing members of the Democrat Party; neither one of them made any attempt to block Barack Obama's agendas. 

Maybe that's what they both have in mind?  

WILL WOULD-BE TRUMP SHOOTER GET AWAY WITH THREAT?

For good reason, there are laws against threatening the life of the president, no matter who he is.  Granted, there were times when many of us have said about Obama, "I'd like to kill the s.o.b."  But, we didn't take any action and had to intentions of taking any action to accomplish such an act. 

Payal Modi is an art teacher at Adamson High School in the Dallas Independent School District. She made a video of herself in her classroom shooting a fake gun at a Trump image while screaming "Die!"  She then posted the video on her Instagram account and it subsequently ended up on YouTube.  Why either venue allowed the posting is beyond me; they both screened for any anti-Obama stuff.  And why the Dallas Independent School District didn't immediately suspend her defies all rationale. 

Now, if that's not a threat on Trump's life, I don't know what is; it most certainly would inspire some nutcase to go out and try it.    

Leave it to the liberals to come to her defense.  After all, they point out, the gun was a toy gun and Trump was 1,300 miles away; how could she possibly kill him?   So... they don't want her persecuted or prosecuted.  I guess she's not to blame for anything?  

One thing for sure: Dallas has certainly earned the reputation of being a city that doesn't mind killing presidents. 

MEXICO AND THE WALL

Hey, America... it's not our fault that our northern border is so porous.  Besides, if our people want to leave, who are we to stop them?  And as far as nationals from other countries such as Honduras, Belize, Guatemala, Columbia, Venezuela, Panama, Peru, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Costa Rica... passing through our country and crossing into the United States, well... Bon Voyage!!!  Hasta la vista!!!

So, we're not interested in your stupid wall.  If you want a wall, you build it.
  
What do you mean, you're going to close down your factories that are located here in Mexico?  What do you mean that tourists are going to quit going to Cabo San Lucas, Tijuana, Puerto Vallarta and Cancun?  Hey, senor... amigo!  That's not fair!!!  What do you mean, we have to work together?  Este es Mexico!!!  Mexico first!!! 

So, Senor Trump, we're not interested in even discussing it... or are we?   

CHICAGO'S EMANUEL TO TRUMP: TAKE A HIKE

Chicago's Mayor Rahm Emanuel has told the Trump administration that he's not interested in seeing the National Guard in the city.  He's told the feds that they are free to send money and equipment, but that he's creating a citizen's group to work with the cops to create better relations.  He also said that he doesn't give a hoot about Trump's plans to put a stop on sanctuary cities; Chicago will not cave in.  After all, he argues,  people from Poland or Mexico or Ireland have every right to a place to live.  Evidently, that "right" extends to illegals and criminals. 

What about the citizen's rights to live in a crime-free city?  What about their rights to self-protection, rights which Emanuel abolished when he turned Chicago into a gun-free zone?  

If Emanuel gets reelected, the citizens of Chicago have no one to blame but themselves.  

INSULTS: REPUBLICANS ARE TO BLAME

Sorry for the "no post" yesterday... I ran out of juice; the electricity was off over 12 hours for the third time in 12 days.  

In the darkness, I got a letter from the RNC asking for a donation.  The letter gloated about how the RNC and the Republicans worked so hard to get Trump elected.  That was insulting to those of us who watched as Donald Trump had to drag the Republicans kicking and screaming... how they fought him tooth and nail all of the way into Election Day.  

The letter also storied about how much the Republicans have accomplished in the past and how much they can accomplish in the future with control of the House, Senate and White House.  That was also insulting to those of us who watched the Republicans roll over and play dead the last time we were in this situation.  In fact and because they were a "do nothing" Congress, they got voted out in spades after just two years and the Democrats took control of The Hill.  All they've done over the last 28 years can be summed up in one word: "nothing." 

Lacking in the communication was any semblance of acknowledgement that the government does indeed belong to "we the people."  It wasn't about us, working together; rather, it was about them and by the way... send us some money.  

I've got news for them: I'm not sending them one thin dime until they show me that they mean what they say.  They need to quit the squabbling and get on board the train.  Politics may have gotten them to where they are, but it is now time to set politics aside and get with the program.  If they can't do that, I don't need them.  I've had enough of the insults and the bull... this is where the rubber meets the road.  

If they want my money... they need to come back hat in hand and ask me again in about a year when I can see what kind of a job they are really doing.  

PRESS, MEDIA MUST BE DISMANTLED

 TIME MAGAZINE published a story in which it alleged that a bust of Martin Luther King Jr. had been removed from the White House Oval Office immediately after Trump took the presidential oath.  Caught in the lie, TIME tried to explain it as a "mistake," referring back to Obama's removal of a bust of Winston Churchill from the Oval Office after HE took office; that bust was replaced by King's bust. 
 
The press and media have an inherent freedom to report the news and an obligation to be objective.  Lies published in the pretense of news, however, simply must be abolished.  This lie could well have stirred up a huge racial unrest in the  country.  While TIME blamed the reporter, Zeke Miller, TIME is the publisher and it, in turn, has the responsibility to verify the overall veracity and individual facts of stories it publishes.  

The truth is that you cannot believe a word you read in TIME; they've just given you amply reason to cancel your subscription and to quit buying from its advertisers.

SICK AND TIRED OF THE SCUMBAGS

I don't know about you, but if I were one of the constituents of those Democrats who have decided to boycott the inauguration and to call the presidency illegitimate, I'd be madder than hell.  I mean... you elect the guy or gal for the purpose of going to Washington and to participate in the running of the government, and here they are in essence refusing to do so.  

The whole country is sick and tired of Washington rancor, but these insolent evildoers remain content to carry the same old song in the same old bucket.  

To hell with them.  If they don't want to do the jobs they were elected to do.... recall them, because they are the reason Washington has not been working.  

THE "ESTEEMED" CONGRESSMAN JOHN LEWIS IS A LIAR

Congressman John Lewis of Georgia came right out and said that he does not believe Donald Trump was legitimately elected to the presidency and should not be inaugurated.  He went on to exclaim that in all of his 30 years in office he has never missed a presidential inauguration, but he's going to miss this one... on purpose.  In his self-righteous indignation, he flatly refuses to participate in the inauguration of a president who cheated the system.   

The problem here is... Lewis also said almost the exact same words about George W. Bush.  He didn't attend that inauguration, either.  

Let's face it: He's a liar.  And here he is, pointing an accusing finger at a duly-elected president elect of the United States.  If he was a real man, he'd apologize and resign.  

Don't hold your breath.  
 

PORTABLE TOILETS: HOW DISGUSTING CAN DEMOCRATS GET?

Portable toilets being installed for the mass of people expected at Donald Trump's inauguration Friday had the name "Don's Johns" all over them, which raised the ire of Trump's staff.  As it turns out, the porta-potties were rented from a Virginia firm named "Don's Johns."  

No one knows for sure why they were chosen as a toilet vendor, but Capitol employees were quick to point out that the firm has been used for other Washington events, such as Barack Obama's inaugurations in 2009 and 2013.  

YES, THE WORLD HAS BECOME A VERY DANGEROUS PLACE

Retired General James Mattis at his Senate confirmation hearings yesterday said. “I think [the world order is] under the biggest attack since World War II … from Russia, from terrorist groups and with what China is doing in the South China Sea.”  I don't see how anyone in America can take issue with that assessment.  

Russia is on the muscle in Crimea and the Ukraine, hell-bent on destroying NATO and reassembling the old Soviet Union.  China has become emboldened to the point that it openly and flagrantly flaunts its power in the South China Sea.  Iran and North Korea both have been pursuing intercontinental nuclear missile capability and they have made great strides in doing so.  ISIS, Hamas, Boko Haram and, (to a lesser degree), Al Qaeda... are threatening the entire world stage with the imposition of radical Islam.  All of this has taken place while our own military capabilities have been sorely depleted. 


Frankly, we can blame all of this on one Barack Hussein Obama.  Had it not been for him and his damned Nobel Peace Prize, I seriously doubt the world stage would be set the way it now is.  

The legacy the S.O.B. leaves behind is scary, to say the very least.  

PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES: POPYCOCK 101

Donald Trump is lashing out at big pharma... saying the government just simply won't be paying that much for drugs anymore for Medicare, military and V.A. patients.  He's demanding the right to negotiate prices, an ability previously denied due to government regulations.  

The pharmaceutical companies have been quick to respond to criticism over their prices over the last decade or two by insisting that they need to recoup expenses for researching and developing better medications.  Otherwise, they warn, there will be no incentive to keep advancing.  

Anyone who has ever been involved in business knows that, in order to maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace, you have to keep innovating.  My point here is that even if prices are rolled back for medicines, pharmaceutical companies will continue to develop new and better products in order to stay in business.  So, their argument holds no water. 

Big pharma has protected its price-gouging territory by successfully lobbying Congress and the F.D.A. to keep foreign pharmaceuticals out of the country.  "You can't trust medicines from other countries," they exclaim.  Well, if medicines from other countries were defective, people would be getting sick or dying and we'd hear about it.  Besides, I believe that American companies are actually selling their products to foreign countries at far less than what they are gouging us for. 

They may say they're not to blame for raping our pocketbooks, but the evidence clearly shows that they are. 

V.A.: BLAME THE DAMNED UNION

I have no problem with unions in general; whenever employers take undue advantage of employees, they need to be blocked and called to task.  But, here's the rub: when unions get powerful enough to prevent employers from disciplining or dismissing unfit and/or unwilling workers, that crosses the line.  

We know all too well that the Department of Veterans Affairs, most particularly in V.A. hospitals and clinics, has done a grave disservice to the American military vet.  Literally, men and women have died because the V.A. has not done its job and supervisors have consistently lied in an organized, national effort to cover their tracks.  

Something has to change.  

But, while V.A. management is attempting to get rid of the dead weight, no play on words intended, it is being met with stiff resistance from the American Federation of Government Employees.  All things considered, that appears to me to be un-American and a direct attack on the men and women who served and put their lives on the line to protect our freedoms and liberties.  Shouldn't the union be the first one to say to its labor force: "Do your job and take care of these vets or we're not going to stand behind you?"  

But, that is not the case and the union itself becomes directly responsible for treating our vets like crap.  This union has every legal reason I can think of to be decertified.  

GUN SHOWS AND GUN CRIME

A Federal Justice Department survey found that less than 2% of criminals obtain their guns through gun shows.  That begs the question: What percentage of guns bought at gun shows are subsequently used to commit crimes?  

These figures do not necessarily correlate with each other; you'd have to know the actual counts per each category to draw any firm conclusions.  

But, I'd be willing to bet that less than 1% of guns purchased at gun shows are subsequently used in criminal activity.  By overwhelming majority, most guns used in crimes are obtained on the black market, through theft or from relatives. 

So, how can you say that gun shows are to blame for gun crime? 
 

WHO DO YOU BELIEVE?

What I heard over the weekend was the redundant question, "Who do you believe," as applied to "Obama or Putin," "the government or Assange," and "our intelligence agencies or Russia?"  

It's a pious admonition for us to accept that Putin, Russia and Assange must be the liars, to which I must pose the question:  When is the last time Obama or his government told the truth to us?  

When?  

"MAKE AMERICA SICK AGAIN?"

Chuck the Schmuck Clown, Nancy the Poll Dancer and the rest of the flock just can't resist from making laughing stocks of themselves, can they? 
 

MEDIA SOON TO BE IN TROUBLE

We all know that the mainstream media and press has been guilty of slanting the news, skewing the news, manufacturing the news and hiding the real news from the American public.  The disservice they have done to democracy in this country is abominable.  

The new President Trump wants to get his message out without having it manipulated by the press and media, so he's going to do it himself... via Tweets, Facebook and Instagram.  Using them, he intends to make his major policy announcements, thereby circumventing the press.  

For the first time in recent history, the establishment media is not going to get the stories first; Americans will.  
 

YOU DON'T LIKE IT? THERE'S MORE COMING

The Democrats continue to dig themselves into a deeper and more ominous hole.  They've taken the posture that it is not their fault that they lost the election, and therefore they do not have any obligation to learn or adapt to the circumstances that led them to where they are.  They, in their own minds, will never be to blame. 

They can close their eyes to the fact that this country just went through a metamorphosis, a revolution of sorts in which we seized back control of a government that had round afoul of American Constitutional principles.  To the Democrats, what we did was absolutely wrong and that wrong must be righted at the earliest possible opportunity; and, of course, there is the accompanying need for retribution.  

Not once have they bothered to stop and examine the whats and whys; they continue forward in their self-righteous, elitist ways as if they are soldiers of the socialistic Obama and Soros armies of the world.  So it is that they dig in their heels and become obstructionists to the new wave of Americanism; come hell or high water, they are bound and determined to have it their way.  

Not that the Republican establishment has learned its lesson, by the way, but the plain simple matter-of-fact is that those who fail to understand the revolution or the movement are destined to be buried by it.  And in the world of politics, 2018 is just around the corner.  

IS IT REALLY TECHNOLOGY THAT'S STEALING OUR JOBS?

I was reading an article over the New Year's holiday that suggests tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of U.S. jobs may be lost to advances in technology.  In one sense, they're correct, but in the real sense they've totally missed the boat.  

The fact is, we're doing it to ourselves.  When Obama and his minions decided that $15.00 an hour should be the nation's minimum wage, a whole slew of companies which employed entry-level employees started looking for ways to cut those labor costs so that they could stay competitive in the world market.  As a result, there was and is a huge push on for labor-cutting technology across the service and manufacturing sectors.  

Some major cities such as Seattle have seen a mass exodus of restaurants moving into the suburbs where the $15.00 wage does not apply.  Some major companies such as McDonalds and Burger King are already testing vending machines that will allow customers to place their orders and have them pop out of a machine as opposed to getting them over the counter with human order-taking involved.  Technological computerized "virtual assistants" are replacing secretaries and administrative assistants;  I operate a small business with fewer employees because we're computerized.  

The problem here, as you can see, is that our cost of labor is artificially high, especially when you factor in benefits.  We've allowed the cost of labor in this country to soar much faster than in any other industrialized economy.  And when it comes to competing with Japan, China and India, slapping an import tax on their goods is very likely to fuel a worldwide inflation. 

The fact is, we're better off having people work a full 40-hour week at a lower wage than being unemployed or working a 20-hour week at a 50% higher wage.  If labor costs can be contained, there really is no reason to look for ways to replace it. 

Let's put the blame where it belongs.  

SICKO TRANSGENDER ISSUE ATTACKS CUB SCOUTS

The LGTB community was successful a few years ago in forcing the Boy Scouts to accept gays.  They are now going after the Cub  Scouts, predominantly 7 to 10 years of age, demanding that little girls whose parents say they identify as boys be allowed into Cub Scout Packs... or else!  

An eight-year-old born a girl whose parents say she identifies as a boy was asked to leave a New Jersey pack.  Local news accounts indicate an unknown number of parents were upset their sons were in a scouting group with a girl who identifies as a boy.  The Scouts say the girl was kicked out not because she says she's transgender, but because the Cub Scout Program requires that you be a boy.  

This whole issue has gone way out-of-bounds.  The LGBT movement is now forcing its agenda into the realm of youngsters who really don't know anything about gender identity; after all, it is literally an adults only issue.  

Hopefully next year this country will grow up and put its collective foot down and put an end to all of this bullshit.

MIDGET NORTH KOREAN DICTATOR WILL SOON HAVE NUKES

NEWSMAX.COM is reporting a North Korean diplomat defector is saying Kim Jong-un will have functioning nuclear weapons within the year.  He said said political uncertainty in the United States and South Korea could give North Korean leader Kim Jong-un "an apt time" to develop the weapons.  

It is known that North Korea has tested at least two nuclear devices and is continuing tests of intercontinental ballistic missiles capable of carrying nuclear devices.  That country has also worked closely with Iran in its nuclear weapons development program.  It is also known that North Korea's program has been on "full speed ahead," probably due to Obama's tepid interaction with Iran and the resulting nuclear "deal."  

As we have suspected, if Iran can make a "deal" which will allow it to have nuclear weapons, why can't we expect North Korea to proceed with its own program?  

And we all know who to blames for this predicament, don't we?    
 

GUN CONTROL: THE BLAME IS NOW ON THE OTHER FOOT

A recent report in NEWSMAX MAGAZINE reveals that federal prosecutions against those who have lied on their gun-purchase background forms have plummeted under the Obama administration.  During an eight-year period of 2008-2015, only 254 fraudulent statements were even considered for prosecution.  That lackadaisical effort by the feds probably explains why we see thugs go on rampages who should have failed a background check.  In fact, the study shows at least 59 people got their guns when they should have been denied.  

The U.S. Attorney's Office sees no problem with the low prosecution rate and has no plans to make any changes... unless, of course, they can find a way to add more restrictive gun laws to keep guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens. 

HARRY REID: ANOTHER BLAMELESS LEACH

In almost his last gasp as a politician, Harry Reid has lashed out to blame everyone on the face of the earth for the less-than-stellar performance of the Democrats during the last election.  

Ignoring the fact that Americans are fed up with lies, spins, unemployment, ObamaCare, elitism, and cram-downs foisted upon us by the Democrats over years of abuse of power, Reid has blamed the DNC, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, Donald Trump, James Comey and anyone else within sight.  Like others in his putrid party, it fails to dawn on him that his "party" lost all touch with America when it enacted ObamaCare regardless of the 70% of the country which was against the plan at the time.  But he and Nancy Pelosi thought they were being so coy when she said, "You'll have to read it to know what's in it."  

They are so pious... so so pious... There's not a Democrat alive who admits that the past eight years of their own iron-fisted rule and their utter failure to respond to the real needs of the people is what really brought their empire to its knees.  

SANTA IS TO BLAME

No, it wasn't the Electoral College, angry white males, the Russians, Huma Abedin... the real guy to blame for Hillary's loss was a fat, rotund, evil, deplorable guy from the North Pole commonly referred to as Santa Claus. 

Oh, those Democrats know what the rules are... Santa comes once a year on Christmas eve night to deliver presents throughout the land.  But, Hillary wanted her Christmas present early in November, and being a Democrat... early delivery was definitely an entitlement.  Nevertheless, he and his abominable dwarf cretins refused to budge and Hillary did not get her much-anticipated election present.  

Santa is to blame and you, my friends, have the absolute duty to light a huge... that's yuuuge... fire in the fireplace on Christmas Eve so that the jolly fat bastard can't get into your house.

TREATICE ON ABSURDITY

The consummate left-wing Democrats have been so pious in their ongoing insistence that Trump is not a legitimate president-elect... it's laughable. 

"Hillary won the popular vote," they insist.  "We must abide by the wishes of the masses, regardless of what our Constitution says.  Never mind that it's the law of the land; we're Democrats and we can ignore it if we choose."  Obama certainly proved that. 

It's interesting to note that they flatly refuse to discuss voter identification, illegal voters or the fact that in Detroit, there were more votes cast than there were registered voters.  Those are inconvenient truths that must absolutely be banned from all conversations.  

But, Trump won anyway.  

When you boil it all down, we are the ones who are to blame, simply because their poop doesn't stink.  The reason their poop doesn't stink, my friends, is that they never poop...  and that explains a lot, doesn't it?  

IRAN UPGRADES CENTERFUGES

BREITBART.COM is reporting that Iran has fulfilled its pledge to replace the country’s centrifuges with the most advanced and modern ones, and that the plan to make a nuclear propulsion system operative is underway.  “We will not stop enhancement of our capability, knowledge and production in defense fields, specially the missile industry,” Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh reportedly told an audience in Tehran on Sunday.  

But... what about our "deal?" 

And maybe... just maybe... that $170 billion or whatever it was that we flew in unmarked cash to their coffers in the middle of the night... well, just maybe it was to buy genuine Iranian perfume? 

AND WE CALL OURSELVES CHRISTIANS?

Someone once said something to the effect that those who fail to study history are doomed to repeat it. 

Back in World War II, word came from Poland and Germany that the Nazi regime was engaging in mass extermination of Jews.  We turned our backs on those stories and about six million Jews died during the Holocaust.  

Stories have been coming from the Middle East for months now about I.S.I.S. and Assad and the mass extermination of Christians, Jews and others seeking to escape the war-torn cities.  Due to technology, we're able to actually see the destruction of Aleppo and other areas.  Yet, our president and this country have been turning their backs to the horrible reports and the associated human suffering. 

Granted, we're asking for trouble if we start importing those refugees on a huge scale before we have a chance or develop a means to determine their true objectives in coming to America; are they terrorists? 

But, we have had plenty of opportunity to establish "safe" zones where refugees could gather in their own countryside under protection of U.S., NATO and Allied Forces.  That move would not require "boots on the ground"  in the literal sense.  Yet, we've done nothing, and men, women and children have been dying terrible deaths by the tens of thousands.  It's nothing short of genocide.  

And here we are, getting ready to celebrate Christmas.  

FACEBOOK IS UN-AMERICAN

Facebook has announced it is hiring and appointing a team of Fact checkers" to censor posts to the site in order to make certain no "fake news" is published therein.  In doing so, they accuse every American who uses the site to be incapable of determining for him or herself the validity of any statements being made.  

Our Constitution gives us the right to freely express our opinions and beliefs; that freedom opens the door to public discourse about anything and everything including public events, government, unions, judges... you name it.  When Facebook appoints a team of censors, (and they are truly censors in every sense of the word), to determine what is real and what is fake and to obliterate what they feel is fake, then the national door is opened for censorship of the news press and media, as well as free speech everywhere.  

This mentality on their part is nothing short of fascism.  They are to blame for taking a giant step toward dismantling a cornerstone of our Constitution.  

I don't want anything to do with them.  

NOW IT'S "BLAME HUMA"

They've tried without success to blame the Russians, white male bias, the Electoral College, miscounts, the F.B.I... they've blamed almost everybody and every thing for losing the November elections.  But, they're now aiming their rage at Huma Abedin.  “Maybe I’m just pissed off, but I really don’t give a s**t about what happens to Huma to be honest with you,” a close Clinton advisor says.  

Many have suggested that Abedin and others in the Clinton “inner circle” may have suffocated the candidate and prevented her from being open to outside counsel.  They reinforced all the bad habits, according to some.  And then, of course, there was the associated Anthony Weiner debacle with the laptop. 

I guess we'll just have to cave in and admit that Hillary herself is not to blame for losing.  How could she be when she's America's darling?  

MCCONNELL AND RYAN ARE ESTABLISHMENT HYPOCRITES

Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan have served notice on Donald Trump that they don't like his budget and tax ideas.  Trump's proposed tax cuts may prove to be a little contentious as they worry about the national debt, infrastructure spending, and the repeal of Obamacare.  Surprisingly, it could be that the Obamacare repeal will add to the national debt. 

McConnell laments that he considers the current national debt levels to be dangerous.  But, neither one of these blowhards did anything significant to prevent the national debt from rising over the last eight years.  They may have made a lot of noise and done a lot of posturing, but they both consistently caved in at the end, just like clockwork.  

So, now that Trump and his movement have made it clear to the Washington "establishment" that Americans are sick and tired of their song and dance routines, they step into the bucket with both feet by warning Trump? 

Let's put the blame for our debt crisis right where it belongs... in their hypocritical laps.   

COMPUTERS: HOW DUMB CAN YOU GET?

If you don't know that cyber-hacking is running rampant in this country, you must live under a rock.  We hear every day about some virus, some malware, some ransomware or some theft of confidential data somewhere in this country.  Anybody who knows the slightest thing about computers knows that they are at risk if they do not install and maintain cyber-security software.  More than that, if we are storing valuable information on your computers... information that we depend on for daily operations in our businesses or personal lives, we need to have a routine plan for backing our files up to another computer, on the Cloud, or to an external hard drive... and those backup storage places need to be physically located away from where our computers are being used.  

I know of one  major company in Washington State that has suffered major monetary damages... twice... because they did not follow the advice above stated.  Yet, our own federal government has been hacked in virtually every agency from the IRS to the Federal Personnel Records Center to the V.A.... on and on it goes.  

Just the other day in Arkansas, Carroll County Sheriff's Office Lt. Daniel Klatt said the department's system was infected Dec. 5 with ransomware, which typically works by encrypting computer files to deny its owner access unless they pay a ransom, which they did in order to get their data back.  Why didn't they have appropriate security software and why weren't their files backed up?  They are a law enforcement agency, for crying out loud! 

Just like you can't leave your new car in your driveway with the doors unlocked and the key in the ignition, you can't leave your computer without a condom of protection on it.  Otherwise, you have no business crying rape when you get hacked.  

HEAVY HILLARY CONTRIBUTORS LIVID

Hillary is holding a lavish thank you party On December 15th at the posh Grand Ballroom of New York's Plaza Hotel.  The only problem is that many large donors... I mean whales... did not get invited.  The word is that they're totally ticked off.  

Undaunted and without batting an eye, the Clingon Campaign Team was quick to explain that the ballroom is of limited size and there's no way they could fit everybody into the room; so they're not to blame.   I don't think they explained how a $10,00 donor got invited and a $250,000 donor didn't; nor did they make any known attempt to acquire a larger venue.  

Who knows?  At the right price they might have been able to use the ballroom at the Trump International.  

WHO IS REALLY TO BLAME FOR GUN VIOLENCE?

Just about anyone of us gun owners would be the first to decry the killing of cops, murder on  the streets of our inner cities, school shootings and gun violence in general.  Yet, those of us who would never even think to commit one of these crimes have been marginalized and relentlessly blamed for them... simply because we own a gun and often carry it.  

"Pile on more, laws; legislate gun ownership into oblivion!"  Those are the cries of the radicals in  the country.  In fact, that seems to be their answer to most everything; if they don't like it, they make a law against it.  They never stop to analyze the situation from an informed and logical sense.  

The fact of the matter is this: those of us who carry concealed, who are NRA members, who value their gun rights... we as a group commit fewer than 1% of the gun-involved crimes in the country.  The rest of the gun crimes are committed by illegal gun owners or possessors, by the mentally unstable and by career criminals or terrorists.  

That's point one; point two is that there are already hundreds, if not thousands, of laws regarding guns on the books in this country.  So, do those who commit 99% of the gun crimes follow them?  Evidently not; I doubt seriously that someone who had just stolen a gun to use in a crime will go and get a background check before he pulls the trigger.  

The problem here is that the existing laws on the books have insufficient enforcement to prevent the criminal or terrorist from perpetrating their evil-doing.  If there are additional penalties for using a gun in a crime, for example, those penalties are rarely enforced in a court of law.  When it is a felony for a convicted felon to own or possess a gun and he gets caught carrying one, he may be charged with a felony, but it is often reduced to a misdemeanor.  

Point three is that the tougher the gun laws, the higher the violent crime rate.  Just ask those unfortunate people in Chicago who take their lives into their own hands every time they stick their heads out the window.  

So, quit penalizing the 99% of us who own guns and go about our daily lives day after day, year after year, without incident.  Instead, start analyzing the societal problems associated with gun violence, start enforcing the laws already on  the books, and put the blame where it actually belongs... on those who write the laws, enforce them, and interpret and apply them.  

NOW TRUMP IS A MURDERER

Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe is complaining that the family's pet chicken, named Hillary, died just  before the election.  

I'm serious.  

And speechless.  
 

OAKLAND, ALAMEDA COUNTY OFFICIALS ARE TO BLAME

I was quick to point out yesterday in MY AMERICAN OPINION that the owner of the warehouse in Oakland which burned to the ground killing at least 36 people was wrapping himself in a blanket of self-pity, totally insensitive to the fact that it was his building and his pile of violations that caused those deaths and that destruction.  But, he's not the only one to blame.  

Almost within minutes after the blaze erupted, both Oakland and Alameda County officials started point fingers.  There were countless stories about the code violations in that building, the lack of fire exits, the fact people were living there without zoning for it and without sufficient sprinklers, bathrooms... on and on.  Those violations were not discovered after the fire;  it had been an ongoing situation for months... perhaps years.  "Well, we were looking at it," officials shrugged.  

So, a guy sets a fire in the forest.  Officials stand around jawboning about whether or not he had a permit and if not, what should they do about it.  In the meanwhile, the fire devours thousands of acres of land and buildings and takes lives.  "Well, we were looking at it," they would say?  Just look at it solves nothing. 

By allowing an unhealthy fire risk to continue over months or years without resolving the threat to human life and property is just as bad as owning the building itself.  Those who protest that they were "looking at it" are complicit and negligent and therefore just as responsible for that tragedy as the building owner, and they need to be held accountable for it... 

Just like Hillary Clinton needs to be held accountable for Benghazi.  

SHAMELESS PELOSI

Former House Speaker and current House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, the  left-wing liberal nutcase from San Francisco who, along with Senator Harry Reid has led her party to the mess that it's in, lashed out yesterday at Dr. Ben Carson as being a "disconcerting and disturbingly unqualified choice" to be Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.  

Now, if that isn't the pot calling the kettle black, what is?  Perhaps a little skillful neurosurgery by Dr. Carson might help reverse her frontal lobotomy? 

And the illustrious Democrats, already suffering from rapid disintegration as a party, decided to double down and reelect her as House Minority Leader?  Is there no end to their zombie culture? 
 

CONGRESS DROPS PLAN TO DRAFT WOMEN

They would try to explain it away for other reasons, but it appears that an upswelling of American anger about plans to require women to register for the draft has caused Congress to drop the plan.  A vote in the House on the new defense bill, which does not contain the draft provision,  is expected by Friday, followed by action in the Senate next week.  

Congress, at least over the last 30 years or so, has continuously come up with lame ideas that just don't make common sense.  We haven't had ANY draft in decades... In fact, Nixon ended the draft in 1973.  I think that means the requirement for males to register for the draft is just a formality; in recent decades, I have never heard of anyone being charged and prosecuted for failure to register. 

So, why the move to require women to register in the first place?  Some zombie bureaucrat evidently decided along the way that it would be discriminatory to require men, and not women, to register for the draft.  The lamebrains in Congress bought into the idea.  But now, they're suddenly doing everything they can to distance themselves from the proposal.  

They're not to blame; that idiot bureaucrat, who ever he/she is, is to blame.  
 

HEADS IN THE SANDPILE

This takes gall. 

We all know what a lousy public education system we have in this country.  Our students are not only not getting an education, they are being indoctrinated in liberal, socialist ideologies.  Like the press is supposed to be, our educational system is supposed to be non-political and totally without propaganda.  And, like "No Child Left Behind," Common Core is a dismal failure.  

There are multitudes of problems in other government agencies as well, but this post refers strictly to the Department of Education.  Our education has been in rapid decline ever since the federal government decided to make a power grab and diminish the authority and rights of the individual states to administer their own programs.  This is why there is such a move to try and establish and operate charter schools.  

Trump named Betsy De Vos as his new Secretary of Education.  She is a school-choice and voucher advocate who has been a driving force behind the successful rise of charter schools in Michigan.  She is the most logical choice to take the helm and bring positive change to our schools.  Certainly, we cannot continue down the current path.  

And the Democrats, one American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten in particular,  now have the unmitigated gall to suggest that De Vos is going to ruin our educational system.  As if to say that she and her stooges are producing some outstanding educational system right now?  

They're to  blame for these messes, but they have their hands stuck so far in the sand that they can't see the forest through the trees.  

TURNING OURSELVES INTO SPIES

I never thought I would see the day when I'd be advocating that we all start spying on our neighbors.  When you reach that point in a society, you've reached the point of living in Communism, totalitarianism, fascism... it's like turning citizen against citizen.  

We've got to come to grips with the fact that I.S.I.S is here among us.  San Bernardino proved that and Ohio State proved that.  While most of these terrorists were foreign-born extremists, some of them have been American-born radicalized Islamists; regardless of how they got here, they have lived here inconspicuously until they have been motivated to attack.  

There could be one living right next door to you right now, working secretly in a basement, attic or garage to put together a devious, bloody terrorist strike at your local mall or high school football game.  

The F.B.I. and other law enforcement people can only be in so many places at one time.  They can't possibly have knowledge of every kook in every town or city who is planning evil.  Thanks to our outgoing president, we have no idea who they are, where they came from, how they got here or what their instructions are.  The only person standing between them and death in our communities is you... that neighbor or other individual who might hear or know something that could prevent such a thing from happening.  

If you see a truck parked where it shouldn't be, if you hear some guys talking about putting some plan in motion, if someone suddenly starts talking really bad about us or our government and what they'd like to do to it... let somebody in law enforcement know.  Don't be afraid of being called a racist, an Islamophobe or anything else... do the right thing and be a hero.  

And if you get the chance, thank a liberal for putting us in this ugly position.
