THANK GOD FOR NEWSPAPERS

Well, the White House is now saying that Obama had absolutely no idea of what was going on at the border until he read about it in the papers.  Thank God for newspapers; if it wasn't for them, Obama would still be in the dark about the V.A. problems, Benghazi, Fast & Furious, the N.S.A. spying, the I.R.S. targeting...  Can you imagine Obama sitting in the Oval Office with Hillary when the Washington Post called to tell him what was going on at Benghazi?

Well, presuming this isn't just another lie, it appears that Obama has surrounded himself with idiots who don't recognize a problem when they see one and who keep secrets from the boss.  Or, is this whole scenario all just a charade?  Is the White House now built on a foundation of smoke and mirrors?

The fact is that Obama did know and, as he has done countless times in his Administration, he chose to ignore the problem; he couldn't be bothered; he had his "agenda."  He now wants the Congress and the nation to believe that he is actually in charge.  In charge of what... another debacle?

Here's the conundrum: If the newspapers are totally in the pockets of the President, and if the President doesn't know anything about anything until he reads it in the newspapers, where does the merry-go-round of idiocracy end?

Suddenly, we can't blame Obama and we can't blame the news media.  I guess Bush simply has to be the fall guy.
